This is the one that concerned me. I'm wondering what others think of it? It seems to be page A5. But when you look at the online version, page A5 is cleverly hidden. You can see online pages go up to and around A4, then A6 and up. And other google searches find references to this in part. So as far as I can tell I can't say it's not legit.

Domestic Violence Horror Australia
New research released by the Monash University shows that a woman is killed by her ex or current partner almost every week in Australia, and the past fortnight has provided shocking recent cases.

Over the past two weeks, two women have been killed allegedly at the hands of their ex-partners, within 80km of each other in NSW.
The alleged deadly attacks saw one woman strangled to death, and another stabbed to death
In a third incident, police are investigating the death of a woman found dead in an alleyway in Chatswood and believe her death may be domestic-violence related.

A fourth woman is fighting for her life in hospital after her partner allegedly slit her throat in Sydney. Each of the attacks allegedly took place in the women’s homes.
Dang.....

"Scott Ostrem, a sheet metal fabricator with a history of financial stress and failed businesses, was identified as the man accused of walking into a suburban Denver Walmart Super Store and randomly and “nonchalantly” shooting two men and a woman to death by the cash registers, sparking a scene of mass panic at the busy store. He has now been arrested. The 47-year-old man, who filed for bankruptcy in 2015, reported debts exceeding $85,000, including back taxes, with assets of less than $3,000 and meager personal belongings." :(

"Sayfullo Saipov — who bragged about speeding a rented Home Depot truck through a lower Manhattan bike lane, killing eight and injuring 13 — was formally charged Wednesday with material support to a terrorist organisation and violence and destruction of a motor vehicle.

https://www.jihadwatch.org/2017/11/saip ... is-prophet

Sayfullo Saipov had 3,800 ISIS images on his phone, note saying “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet”

“Feds reveal what they found in NYC terror suspect Sayfullo Saipov’s truck,” by Stefan Becket, CBS News, November 2, 2017:

NEW YORK — The suspect charged in Tuesday’s terrorist attack in lower Manhattan had two cell phones with 90 videos of propaganda about the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and 3,800 images related to the terrorist group, prosecutors said.

In an affidavit filed in federal court on Wednesday, FBI agent Amber Tyree revealed what investigators discovered in the rental truck used to mow down 20 people along a bike lane in lower Manhattan, killing eight of them and seriously injuring 12.

Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old native of Uzbekistan, was charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization and using a vehicle to cause violence. Investigators say Saipov was inspired by ISIS to carry out the attack, the deadliest in New York since 9/11. The use of a truck to run over civilians closely mirrors similar attacks that have plagued Europe. ISIS has posted instructions and urged its followers to carry out such an attack on its propaganda channels online.

Sayfullo Saipov is said to have rented a pickup truck from a Home Depot in New Jersey before driving into Manhattan to carry out the attack. He traveled for nearly a mile down a bike lane next to the West Side Highway, coming to a stop only after he slammed into a schoolbus. He then exited the vehicle carrying a black bag, a pellet gun and a paintball gun, yelling “God is great” in Arabic. Sayfullo Saipov was soon shot by a police officer and taken into custody.

“Allahu akbar” does not mean “God is great.” It means “Allah is greater,” i.e., greater than your god. It is a declaration of superiority and supremacism.

Investigators detailed what they found in Sayfullo Saipov’s truck after the attack. Inside the black bag, which Saipov dropped after being shot, officers found three knives and a wallet containing a Florida driver’s license in Sayfullo Saipov’s name.

Inside the truck itself, police found two cellphones and a stun gun on the floor by the driver’s side seat.

They also discovered a note about 10 feet from the truck with English and Arabic writing, according to the affidavit. The Arabic writing said “No God but God and Muhammed is his Prophet” and “Islamic Supplication. It will endure,” the affidavit says, noting that the latter phrase is “commonly used to refer to ISIS.”

The FBI obtained a search warrant to search the two cellphones found inside the truck. The first phone was found to contain 90 videos of ISIS propaganda. Sayfullo Saipov told investigators from his hospital bed that he was inspired to carry out the attack after watching ISIS-related videos on his cellphone, according to the affidavit.

The videos described in the affidavit included footage of ISIS fighters running over a prisoner with a tank, a beheading video, and an instructional video about making a homemade explosive. About 3,800 images were also found on the phone, including many with the logo of ISIS’ propaganda arm and several of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the group’s leader…."

Sayfullo Saipov’s wife, wears a niqab, a Muslim garment that reveals only the eyes.
Sayfullo Saipov and his wife, Nozima Odilova, 23, moved about 15 months ago into a low-rise red-brick building behind the mosque. They had two girls, one now 6 and another 4, and a baby boy who was born about six months ago.

“The wife hardly went out. They were very mysterious,’’ said Altana Dimitrovska, who lives in the same building. She said that the wife would watch through the curtains of her window as the girls played in the front courtyard, and would occasionally push the baby around the courtyard in a stroller. Sayfullo Saipov was the one who took the older girl to school.

Sayfullo Saipov had two friends, men who looked similar to him with long beards, who were frequent visitors along with their wives, neighbours said. The wives dressed similarly to Saipov’s wife — wearing the niqab."

The Saipov family was last seen at the apartment complex over the weekend, neighbours said — suggesting that Saipov might have moved his wife to another location in anticipation of the attack. But he rented the pickup truck nearby at a Home Depot in Passaic, N.J…."

Local media is reporting the gunman has been identified as 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley, a resident of New Braunfels in San Antonio. Devin joined the US Air Force after graduating New Braunfels High School in 2009. He worked in logistics and supply in the US Air Force until he was dishonorably discharged in 2014 and was court martialed in May 2014.
Kelley was married and Kelley's mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address. San Antonio police reportedly raided Kelley's home on Sunday evening.

https://news.grabien.com/story-texas-de ... ler-ending

Today's mass shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, was only halted after an armed Texan "engaged" the killer and put an end to the rampage, the Texas Rangers reported.
Freeman Martin, a major in the Texas Rangers and a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, says the suspect dropped his rifle and fled after being confronted by a local man who had grabbed his rifle.
Freeman provided a timeline of the tragedy in a press briefing Sunday evening.
"At approximately 11:20 this morning a suspect was seen at a Valero gas station in Sutherland Springs, Texas," Martin said. "He was dressed in all black. That suspect crossed the street to the church, exited his vehicle and began firing at the church."
"That suspect then moved to the right side of the church and then continued to fire," he continued. "That suspect entered the church and continued to fire. As he exited the church, a local resident grabbed his rifle and engaged that suspect. The suspect dropped his rifle, which was a Ruger AR assault-type rifle and fled from the church."
"Our local citizen pursued the suspect at that time," Freeman went on. "A short time later as law enforcement responded that suspect right at the Wilson/Guadalupe County line crashed out and was found deceased in his vehicle. At this time we don’t know if it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound or if he was shot by the local resident. We know he’s deceased in the vehicle. "
The suspected killer is being reported as Devin Patrick Kelley. However, Freeman would reported, "The suspect has not been completely identified. We believe he’s a young white male, maybe in his early 20s. He was dressed in all black, tactical type gear and was wearing a ballistic vest."

Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek claims Devin Kelley was court-martialed in 2012 on one count of assault on his spouse and another count of assault on their child and was discharged two years later.

He received a bad conduct discharge, 12 months of confinement and a reduction in rank.

But it didn't stop him kiling several children and seniors first.

Well, Robin Hood, I believe I am going to have to correct you here. The story I have heard is that someone was outside, I think in a nearby house, and brought over a rifle and confronted him as he came out of the church. So that would tend to indicate that in the church, where he was shooting, no one was able to, or no one did shoot back at him.

But yes, you are right. Even if there were guns in the church, he possibly would have come in, started shooting, and shot a few, and then been shot by those in the church with guns.

But let's look first at the British alternative. He could come in, start shooting, and someone with a cell phone would call the local constabulary. Then what would the constabulary do? Send over some cops, or 'bobbies'. But they may well be unarmed, so what happens next? He shoots them, also.
And keeps shooting.

Or, they summon some armed cops, who have to get ready, and drive over. In the meantime, he is shooting more and more people.

Or how about the American system. Someone in the church calls 911 and asks for, what? An unarmed cop to come over? No, here all cops have guns, so when they call 911 they are calling to have someone come over ... WITH A GUN!

But by the time they get there the guy has shot 30 or more people and has taken off away from the scene. In fact, two civilians were chasing this guy in Texas as he left the scene. They described that as they did so, they saw cops going in the opposite direction, to the church. Which doesn't do much good when the guy is now on the run away from the church. And still able in theory to shoot more people, that seeming to be his intention.

Now there is a real fantasy theory. Ban all guns. Then no one will have a gun. Well, there are quite a few criminals with guns both in the USA AND in Britain, illegally. Just like they all have illegal drugs, both there and here. So, reality is a ban does not work. It just creates a black market. I can tell you that drugs are available on every street corner in the USA, even tho' they are banned, and the government spends BILLIONS on the "war on drugs". Yet the drugs are still there. And I'll bet you I could bring a doper to Britain, and within a few hours, he would have his dope available there, too, in spite of the "ban".

So, as I say, there weren't enough guns there, until the cops got there, and then it was too late.

Reality is, if there were people in the congregation, armed and ready, or made ready by the situation, they could have saved lives. You do understand, do you not, that if the cops got there, and he was still shooting, the cops would have shot him to stop him, right?

And, in Britain, if he was still shooting, and the cops got there, and then the armed cops got there, they would have shot him, right?

So ...

I posted this before, but here it goes again: "Back in 1977, when we were living in England, up in the North Riding, a violent convict escaped from a court appearance, took a revolver from a guard, a woman hostage, and a car, and fled. Within a few days he was tracked down on the North Yorkshire Moors, holed up with gun and hostage. When the police got there they had to go door to door asking to borrow shotguns so they could flush the guy out. They shot him dead. I heard a lot about it at work because his last name was the same as mine."

New calling in church - Armed Guard.

People volunteer for the calling. You wear camaflouged fatigues, armor vesting, carry an automatic AR 15, carry a 9mm gun. Your building has 3 entrances, 2 Armed Guards are posted at each entrance. Activity levels go up. “Let me be a guard! Please.”

Escalate. Wackos are enticed to see if they can take out the guards. Bombs are employed...
