11 people injured with leg and head injuries. Black man deliberately drove at them in Central London. There is no chance this wasn't a terror attack.

Narcissism and low self-esteem predict conspiracy beliefs

Individuals who hold strong beliefs in conspiracies often also score high in narcissism and low in self-esteem, according to 2015 research.

The series of studies, published in Social Psychological and Personality Science, examined individuals to determine whether self-evaluation plays a role in predicting conspiracy beliefs.

“Previous research linked the endorsement of conspiracy theories to low self-esteem,” said Aleksandra Cichocka, principal investigator and corresponding author of the study.

“We propose that conspiracy theories should rather be appealing to individuals with exaggerated feelings of self-love, such as narcissists, due to their paranoid tendencies,” she continued.

In the first study, 202 participants completed a conspiracy beliefs questionnaire, a self-esteem scale, and an individual narcissism questionnaire. In the conspiracy beliefs questionnaire, participants rated the extent to which they agree with such statements as “A small, secret group of people is responsible for making all major world decisions, such as going to war” and “The American government permits or perpetrates acts of terrorism on its own soil, disguising its involvement.”

Scientists found that among participants, high individual narcissism and low self-esteem significantly predicted conspiracy beliefs.

In the second study, scientists sought to rule out the possibility that collective narcissism contributed to the results of the previous study.

“Because conspiracy theories often refer to malevolent actions of groups, we wanted to distinguish whether it is a narcissistic image of the self or the group that predicts the endorsement of conspiracy theories,” said Cichocka.

“For example…American collective narcissism predicted the endorsement of conspiracy theories involving foreign governments but not the American government,” she continued.

Study 2 determined that collective narcissism does not interfere with the role that individual narcissism and low self-esteem have on conspiracy beliefs. In other words, individual narcissists with low self-esteem tend to hold beliefs in conspiracies whether or not they also exhibit collective narcissism.

The third study aimed to account for the role low-self esteem plays in conspiracy beliefs by determining its relationship with negativity toward humans in general.

Scientists found that the factor of low self-esteem can indeed be explained by general negativity.

“The effect of low self-esteem on conspiracy beliefs can be largely attributed to the fact that low self-esteem predicts negative perceptions of humanity more broadly,” Cichocka reported.

Though the studies are not able to establish a causal relationship, they do indicate that narcissism, low self-esteem, and conspiracy belief are significantly correlated.

“Narcissists might be especially prone to believe in conspiracy theories due to their elevated self-consciousness connected with exaggerated feelings of being in the center of others’ attention,” said Cichocka.
It can be pretty easily established that governments can and have done wrong and covered it up in the past. The type of person to suspect and investigate this would be someone who, through their life, has learned to recognize the propensity towards corruption in high places. To get very far in an investigation, this person would also have to have the capability to recognize and detail incongruities between official government accounts of what happened in significant events versus what actually happened based on evidence.
These two traits might be defined as discerning and dogged.

There are those, who from world-weariness or lazy over reliance on gut-feelings, latch on to conspiracy theories, no matter how well-founded they be. I think this study is perhaps trying to label these more gullible people as having low self-esteem narcissists and at the same time cast all people who question government or mainstream narratives into this same mold. This matches what the rest of major academia and media has been saying and doing for a while. This type of behavior is not a healthy sign of a free society.

"The U.S. Supreme Court has picked Dec. 5 to hear arguments in the case of a Colorado baker who was accused of violating a state regulation by refusing to promote a same-sex “wedding” with his artistry.

In Colorado, it was a biased Civil Rights Commission that ordered Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop to provide his customized wedding cakes to same-sex duos if he provided them to anyone. He also was told to undergo state-mandated, homosexual-rights thought training and take his staff with him.

A member of the state’s Civil Rights Commission, Diann Rice, publicly exhibited bias against him during a hearing, comparing him to a Nazi.

“I would also like to reiterate what we said in the hearing or the last meeting,” Rice said during consideration of Phillips’ case. “Freedom of religion and religion has been used to justify all kinds of discrimination throughout history, whether it be slavery, whether it be the Holocaust, whether it be – I mean, we – we can list hundreds of situations where freedom of religion has been used to justify discrimination. And to me it is one of the most despicable pieces of rhetoric that people can use to – to use their religion to hurt others.”

“Outlasting the Gay Revolution” spells out eight principles to help Americans who hold conservative moral values counter attacks on freedoms of religion, speech and conscience by homosexual activists

It was the same state commission that ruled homosexual bakers can legitimately refuse to create a cake with a Bible verse that condemns homosexuality, arguing it offends their beliefs.

Phillips contends he is protected by the First Amendment right to speak freely and to exercise his religious beliefs.

In a friend-of-the-court brief, the U.S. government comes to his defense, arguing the making of a wedding cake is a form of expression protected by the Constitution.

“When Phillips designs and creates a custom wedding cake for a specific couple and a specific wedding, he plays an active role in enabling that ritual, and he associates himself with the celebratory message conveyed,” the brief points out.

The Colorado law, therefore, by forcing Phillips “to create expression for and participate in a ceremony that violates his sincerely held religious beliefs,” intrudes on his First Amendment rights.

Colorado, the federal government argues, “has not offered, and could not reasonably offer, a sufficient justification” to force Phillips to makes such an expression.

Phillips lost in state court, where enforcement of the “gay”-rights agenda is common. A state Supreme Court justice has boasted of being a “gay” activist.

The Alliance Defending Freedom, which is defending Phillips, explained that Phillips considers the moral component of his work to be important. ADF points out that he also declines to produce products with a Halloween theme.

“Jack Phillips doesn’t design cakes for all events – he never has. He has a set of values based on his religious beliefs – a moral code – that guides his life, including his work. When an event conflicts with Jack’s beliefs, he doesn’t participate. The Constitution protects that freedom – not just because Jack is a person of faith, but also because he is an artist who pours his time, talent, and incredible skill into creating custom works of art for his customers,” ADF explains.

“But that hasn’t stopped LGBT activists and the State of Colorado from coming after Jack. They’ve accused him of intolerance and discrimination, forced him to reeducate his staff and file quarterly compliance reports with the government, and demanded that he design cakes for same-sex weddings.”

ADF argues the U.S. Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage decision “may have redefined marriage, but it didn’t redefine freedom.”

“The government does not have the power to force creative professionals like Jack – or anyone for that matter – to celebrate events that violate their faith. That’s the kind of freedom the First Amendment guarantees, and that’s why we seek justice for Jack,” ADF says.

Phillips, who has generated a tidal wave of support, shares the Christian belief that the standard for marriage was established by God, and no earthly court, including the U.S. Supreme Court, can change it.

That position was stated emphatically by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the New York Times best-seller “The Harbinger” and the inspiration behind the “Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” movie. His most recent book, “The Paradigm,” is just out.

He was addressing the Washington: A Man of Prayer event in the U.S. Capitol in 2015, just before the Supreme Court released its marriage opinion, which four justices criticized as unconnected to the Constitution.

“The justices of the Supreme Court took up their seats [in a hearing] on whether they should strike down the biblical and historic definition of marriage. That the event should even take place is a sign this is the America of George Washington’s warning … a nation at war against its own foundation,” Cahn said.

“If this court should overrule the word of God and strike down the eternal rules of order and right that heaven itself ordained, how then will God save it? Justices, can you judge the ways of God? There is another court and there another judge, where all men and all judges will give account.

“If a nation’s high court should pass judgment on the Almighty, should you then be surprised God will pass judgment on the court and that nation? We are doing that which Israel did on the altars of Baal,” said Cahn.

"National Police Chiefs’ Council lead for hate crime, assistant chief constable Mark Hamilton, said: “We recognise and will uphold the right to free speech even where it causes offence – but this does not extend to inciting hatred or threatening people.”

This is an entirely meaningless statement. They will uphold the freedom of speech, but pursue and prosecute those who are “inciting hatred.” “Inciting hatred” according to whom? For years, Leftists and Islamic supremacists have characterized any and every honest analysis of the motivating ideology of the jihad threat as “inciting hatred,” rather than as an exercise of free speech that causes offense. They are, indeed, essentially the only ones talking about “hate speech” at all, and so it will be up to them to determine what it is.

This new police hub, therefore, will work to destroy what remains of the freedom of speech in Britain. While jihadis are operating in Britain more aggressively than ever, the British government is diverting valuable police resources to cracking down on the freedom of speech."

"The liberal media knows no bounds when it comes to attacking conservatives and traditional family values, withtelevision reporting and programming, have become increasingly left-leaning in recent years.
It is a rare occurrence to tune into primetime or late-night television and find anything appropriate for families to watch together. The LGBT agenda, vulgar language, provocative sexual scenes, and anti-family sentiments fill the airwaves.
But one new show set to premiere on Netflix begs the question, how much further downhill can the entertainment industry go in its effort to gain ratings with disgraceful liberal rhetoric?

A new animated series, Big Mouth, is the creation of Nick Kroll, famous for working on another anti-family cartoon, Family Guy.
And like anything that promotes the liberal agenda and offends conservatives, late-night host Stephen Colbert was thrilled to promote the show by interviewing its writer.

LifeSite News reported:
Colbert introduced Kroll with great fanfare and eventually asked about the show. “Is this the kind of show that parents would sit down and watch with their children?”
Kroll smiled and said jokingly, “Steve, I’m going to leave that up to each and every individual parent.” Then he admitted, “It’s very dirty.”
“Big Mouth” features graphic masturbation, nocturnal emissions, “puberty fairies,” a giant condom creature, and “aching pubes.” A personified masturbation pillow falls in love with its abuser and wants to be more than just a “fling.”
Kroll got a lot of laughs with the line that his show “is kind of like the sex-ed video I wished I had gotten to see, but also, like, filthy.”

After Colbert promised a donation to the Puerto Rico hurricane relief for every celebrity that posts their 13-year-old “pubescent” picture on social media, he made the sign of the cross.
Colbert and his leftist colleagues seem to think it is funny that impressionable young people will tune into the show they jokingly refer to as “filthy.”
Because of his late-night time slot, Colbert is able to push the envelope during every show with his offensive behaviors and disgusting remarks.
He was in the news earlier this year for a verbal tirade against President Trump, full of offensive language which left even the most jaded viewers shocked.

Pro-family and Christian activists are warning parents about the offensive material presented inBig Mouth and chastising Colbert for continuing to promote morally reprehensible content on television.

Besides the vulgar language and imagery described in Big Mouth — including showing the genitals of young teens — critics point to the show becoming the latest to promote acceptance of sexualizing children.
Others express fears the show will become must-see TV for pedophiles and those who view child pornography.
Big Mouth obviously degrades and objectifies young women by making them nothing more than fodder for sexual fantasies, and normalizing sexual encounters and experimentation at a young age.
Because the show is animated, it gives the impression of innocence and fun – and will likely appeal to tweens and teens. And because of the animation, the explicit images depicted are not thought to be offensive in nature to the left.
This program, however, is taking television further down a slippery slope, where the next television show will likely show images such as these played by live actors. The more shows like this that are allowed to appear – even on less regulated cable networks – the further television programming will fall into degradation.

Newsbusters reported:
The problems with the show are as follows: 1. Explicit depictions of young teens engaging in sexual activity. 2. The producers have labeled the show as aimed at young people. 3. The writer was originally working for Family Guy. That show is not meant for young adults. From what the trailer portrays, it seems doubtful that young adults will be watching the show. More likely, adults will be watching these scenes with graphic depictions of a young teenage girl’s private parts.
In 2011, conservative author and actor Ben Shapiro wrote a book called Primetime Propaganda, in which he recorded numerous television executives from major affiliates. In nearly every interview he conducted, the media execs admitted that Hollywood pushes the liberal agenda while targeting conservatives – and they have no intention of stopping.
“Television has been perhaps the most impressive weapon in the left’s political arsenal,” Shapiro argues in the book.
With television shows increasingly pushing liberal propaganda, it becomes even more imperative for conservative parents to monitor what their children and teens are watching.
Liberal television personalities like Stephen Colbert will continue to push – and encourage – the left’s disturbing agenda with the purpose of purging the airwaves of anything promoting conservative values or that is appropriate for families and children.

Pro-family groups are encouraging a boycott of Netflix – and Stephen Colbert’s late-night programming – in the hopes that a response from American families will slow the pace of immoral television shows debuting on the airwaves.
But with the media, Hollywood studios, and corporate television networks all in the left’s back pocket, it appears the worst is yet to come."

"There’s more than one way to stage a protest and law enforcement officers in Louisiana are letting the Ford Motor Co. know right where they stand on NFL players kneeling during “The Star-Spangle Banner.”
The Shreveport Times reported that Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington said his office would no longer purchase Ford products from a local dealership after the automaker expressed support for players who kneel during the national anthem.
In a letter to the Hixson Automotive Group dealership in Alexandria, Whittington said “recent events surrounding the NFL, its players and their audacity to thumb their collective noses at the American flag, the American military, as well as their obvious disdain for the profession of law enforcement in general, forces me to take a stand.”
Whittington said that while players have a right to protest, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and local taxpayers have “a right to spend our money elsewhere.”
“It is my hope that this letter will cause you to encourage Ford Motor Co. to change their advertising choice and cease to support the NFL with advertising dollars until the NFL leadership demands its players show proper respect for our nation’s colors,” Whittington wrote.
The Times reported that, according to information provided by BPSO, the sheriff’s office purchased 29 vehicles from Hixson Ford, amounting to $747,132 in 2016 and 2017.
That is a significant amount of money, and you can bet that Hixson Ford hates hearing this news.
Whittington also said that he would send copies of his letter to Louisiana’s 63 other sheriffs, in hopes that others would also boycott the automaker.
In an update to its Facebook page, BPSO stated that Dallas Hixson of the Hixson Automotive Group told the sheriff that he was not aware of Ford Motor Company’s support for NFL players who protest during the national anthem.
The post stated that Hixson informed Whittington that Ford’s stance concerned him as well, and he would take the sheriff’s letter to Detroit to present it to Ford “in the near future.”
This protest could turn out ugly for Ford if more local governments decide to follow the sheriff’s lead and let Ford know they will not buy Ford products as long as they support anthem kneelers."

"The junk food industry is trying to make more money with less spent on quality. And that’s why you may notice that many companies are adding ground up and/or boiled beetle carcasses into their fruit juices, candy, ice creams, and more. These beetle carcasses contribute to the reds, purples, and pinks found in many junk food items.
Now you won’t find “beetle carcasses” under any of the ingredients lists. However, you may find “carminic acid” or “cochineal extract”. These terms sound scientific, but they actually describe the bugs that the junk food industry is adding to our food.
THE LARGEST EXPORTER OF COCHINEAL EXTRACT IS PERU, HAVING PRODUCED MORE THAN ONE MILLION POUNDS OF DEAD BEETLES IN 2013. INTERESTING THAT A COUNTRY THAT HAS SUCH A LARGE BUG INFESTATION FINDS A READY MARKET FOR THEM
The Food and Drug Administration has deemed these bugs as “safe” to add to the junk food industry’s products. However, once consumers realize what the industry is doing, they’ll think twice about purchasing these “snack foods” again.”

https://constitution.com/pediatrician-d ... -children/

"Renowned pediatrician, Dr. Michelle Cretella explains that allowing, or forcing, children to move through transgender reassignment is child abuse and is akin to forcibly sterilizing a generation of kids.
“Chemical castration is what you’re doing when you put any biologically normal child on puberty blockers. It’s treating puberty like a disease, arresting a normal process which is critical to normal development and bad for kids.
Sterilisation: not good for kids. Prepping them for what will likely result in a case in girls a double mastectomy at 16 — not how you treat depression or anxiety and I have plenty of experience treating teenagers with depression, anxiety, even suicidal depression. Indoctrinating pre-school kids with the lie that you can be trapped in the wrong body, again, that’s disrupting their normal reality testing and cognitive development. Those things are abusive.
As to the studies, there are two that I am aware of that claim affirming your child’s gender confusion is good for them. Number one, it assumes that coaching a child into a fixed-false belief is mentally healthy. Science doesn’t allow you to assume your conclusion. Number two, those studies are extremely small. Number three, those studies are very short term. And number four, the control group of “mentally healthy children” are the siblings, most of them are siblings of the trans-identifying child. Oh, and there’s a number five, the parents were the ones evaluating the mental health of the children.
This is not science…I don’t think you need to have an M.D. or a Ph.D to know that’s not science — that’s ideology masquerading as science.”

Sperm-damaging Lead Found in Alex Jones Infowars Dietary Supplements

Sperm-damaging Lead Found in Alex Jones Infowars Dietary Supplements

National health watchdog launches legal action against Alex Jones’ Infowars LLC to eliminate the toxic threat from products aimed at healthy lifestyle consumers

Oakland, CA—Independent testing commissioned by national health watchdog the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) found high levels of lead in two Alex Jones Infowars products. Tests found that two supplements sold on Alex Jones’ Infowars store contained significant levels of lead well in excess of California Proposition 65 limits. Lead is a dangerous chemical well known to have devastating developmental impacts on children. Crucial, but less well-known are its effects on men, including sperm damage, heart disease, and high blood pressure. One of the Alex Jones products tested had more than six times the daily limit under Proposition 65.

Yesterday, CEH initiated legal action under California’s Proposition 65 against Infowars LLC and its affiliate Free Speech Systems LLC, for failing to warn consumers about the high levels of lead in their products and urging the company to recall products already sold. “It is not only ironic, but tragic, when we find lead in dietary supplements, since consumers are ingesting the toxic chemical with every sip and swallow,” said CEH Executive Director Michael Green. “These products are supposed to enhance human health and performance, not lead to increased risk of heart attacks and sperm damage.”

The chemical was found in the Infowars Caveman Paleo Formula and the Info Wars Myco-ZX supplements. People who take the daily recommended dose of the Formula product would ingest more than twice the daily limit for lead under California law. People who take the Myco-ZX product would ingest more than six times the daily limit for lead under California law. The products were purchased online at the infowarsshop.com website.

Scientists are increasingly concerned that there is no safe level of lead exposure. According to U.S. EPA, lead exposure causes sperm damage and reduced sperm production in men as well as high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, and delayed puberty in both men and women.

Gay/Jewish Neo-Nazi Comes Out

Post by Joel »

Exclusive: Neo-Nazi and National Front organiser quits movement, opens up about Jewish heritage, comes out as gay

A white supremacist active as recently as the start of this year says today he is publicly renouncing 40 years of hate. Speaking on Channel 4 News he comes out as gay for the first time – and admits to a violent past.

After a lifetime of involvement with the far-right Kevin Wilshaw announces on Channel 4 News that he is leaving the movement – at the same time publicly coming out as gay.

The well known National Front organiser in the 1980s was still active in white supremacist groups earlier this year – including speaking at events.

But tonight on Channel 4 News he explains for the very first time why he is publicly disavowing the movement – sharing his secrets, explaining how he was both a Neo-Nazi and of Jewish heritage , while admitting to violent acts and what motivated his hatred.

Jewish heritage

Kevin Wilshaw also opens up about his Jewish mother.

“She was part Jewish, maiden name was Benjamin, we have Jewish blood on that side.

On an application form to join the National Front, he wrote about his hatred of “the Jews”.

“That term ‘the Jews’ is the global faceless mass of people you can’t personalise it, not individuals. That’s the generalisation that leads to 6 million people being deliberately murdered.

“I didn’t have many friends at school, I wanted to be a member of a group of people that had an aim, and I thought getting involved in that kind of thing would be comradeship. “

“Even though you end up being a group of people that through their own extreme views are cut off from society, you do have a sense of comradeship in that you’re a member of a group that’s being attacked by other people.”

Coming out

“On one or two occasions in the recent past I’ve actually been the recipient of the very hatred of the people I want to belong to … if you’re gay it is acceptable in society but with these group of people it’s not acceptable, and I found on one or two occasions when I was suspected of being gay I was subjected to abuse.”

Mr Wilshaw admits that being a Nazi who is gay – but with a Jewish background – is a contradiction.

“It’s a terribly selfish thing to say but it’s true, I saw people being abused, shouted at, spat at in the street – it’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise that what you’re doing is wrong.”

“You have other members leading National Front who are overtly gay. And nobody could see the contradiction of it that you have an overtly gay person leading a homophobic organisation, makes no sense.”

“Then you have someone like Nicky Crane, one of the hardest people who would be gay.”

“Even when people found out, they’d rationalise it, ‘He’s not really gay’ or ‘gay and ok’.”

Violent attack

He said he had hurt people, “but not unprovoked, in defence. In a by-election in Leeds I smashed a chair over someone’s head.”

But he denied ever having approached minorities and assaulted them.

“I’d never do that, but I have seen incidents where people were singled out because they were black by a group of people. It turned my stomach, I rejected that, I pushed it to the back of my mind.”

Mr Wilshaw was arrested for vandalising a mosque in Aylesbury in the early 1990s – and in March this year he was arrested for online race hate offences.

Extremist as recently as the start of this year

He joined the BNP after being part of the National Front and flirted with dangerous fringe groups like the Racial Volunteer Force.

Mr Wilshaw says he remembers meeting David Copeland – the Brixton and Soho nail bomber. More recently he took to social media – and until the start of year was still speaking at rallies.

Former National Front activist Matthew Collins, who now works for the anti-racist group Hope not Hate said: “One of things we noticed is there was someone who was struggling, he was becoming more and more extreme.”

“We almost expected the phone call and a cry for help, and that’s what he’s done.”

‘I want to hurt extremists’

“I feel appallingly guilty as well, I really do feel guilty, not only that, this is also a barrier to me having a relationship with my own family, and I want to get rid of it, it’s too much of a weight.”

“I want to do some damage as well, not to ordinary people but the people who are propagating this kind of rubbish – want to hurt them, show what it’s like for those who are living a lie and be on the receiving end of this type of propaganda, I want to hurt them.”

Fearing some level of revenge, Mr Wilshaw says “one or two would want to sort me.. they’d see it as betrayal.”

“I am going to find it difficult, granted, to fill a void that has occupied my life since childhood.”

Utah Teen Accused of Helping Friend Hang Herself After Calling It ‘Awesome’

Awesome.

That was the word Tyerell Joe Przybycien, a Utah teenager charged with first degree murder, allegedly used to describe the prospect of helping his 16-year-old friend, Jchandra Brown, hang herself from a rope tied to a tree, court records revealed.

“What you do if you knew a friend was trying to commit suicide?” Przybycien, 18, wrote a friend on April 19 in a text obtained by investigators.

“Talk them out of it,” the friend, whose name is not identified in the probable cause statement, replied.

“The thing is…I wanna help kill them," Przybycien wrote in text filled with misspelled words. “It be awesome. Seriously im going to help her. Its like getting away with murder! I’m so f-----d up. I’m seriously not joking. Its going down in about a week or two.”

It did and Przybycien recorded it all on his cell phone, the statement said.

“Bro It happened,” he later texted a friend. “I helped her do it too and I feel so guilty.”

Now Przybycien is facing trial for a crime that has drawn parallels to the case of Michelle Carter, the Massachusetts woman who was convicted of goading her teenage boyfriend into killing himself.

“It is reasonable to infer that but for the Defendant’s actions leading up to the decedent’s death, the decedent would not have died on May 5, 2017,” Utah District Court Judge James Brady wrote in his Tuesday ruling paving the way for the teenager’s trial.

Przybycien does not “escape criminal responsibility” because Brown made it clear she wanted to die, Brady wrote. He acted with “utter callousness to the value of human life.”

“Likewise, encouraging and helping to facilitate the suicide of an impressionable minor who could have benefited from support, counseling or therapy is completely lacking of social value,” the judge wrote in his ruling.

Przybycien, who lives in the Salt Lake City suburb of Spanish Fork, is also charged with “Abuse of Desecration of a Dead human body,” which is a misdemeanor, the records show. And he faces five exploitation of a minor charges after police allegedly found child pornography on his cell phone, including images of nude young girls — some of whom were under age five.

Przybycien is expected to plead not guilty at his arraignment next Tuesday, defense attorney Greg Stewart toldNBC News.

The sequence of events that ended with Przybycien in handcuffs began on May 6 when a turkey hunter stumbled across Brown’s body near Maple Lake, south of Payson Canyon, Utah.

Much of the evidence the prosecutors would use to charge Przybycien, according to court records, was found in in two plastic grocery bags nearby, including a handwritten suicide note from Brown with instructions to “watch the video” on the cell phone that was in one of the bags.

Also found was a receipt for the rope that had Przybycien’s name on it and an industrial strength can of air duster, a product used for cleaning computer keyboards that some teenagers use to get high.

In no time police located Przybycien, who was still in the area when they arrived — and who readily admitted he was with Brown when she died, according to the records.

Under questioning, Przybycien said Brown confided in him that she had been wanting to die, the records revealed. He admitted buying the air duster and the rope. He said he picked Brown up on the evening of May 5 after she was done with work and drove her to the spot where she died.

There, Przybycien told investigators, he helped Brown tie on the noose, made sure it was tight, and then took out his cell phone to record her final moments.

The footage, according to court records, showed Brown with the noose around her neck standing on a rock holding a shirt and the can of air duster.

Przybycien can be heard asking her to say something. Then Brown inhales a big snort of the air duster, loses consciousness, and falls in a “twisting motion.”

“That did not work,” the suspect is heard saying, the records reveal. “That did not even work.”

But Przybycien continues to record Brown for up to 11 minutes and ask her questions that she does not answer.

“Thumbs up if you’re okay,” he says at one point, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.

“I guess I’ll just leave this here now.”

Przybycien allegedly told police he had hoped to retrieve the rope as a souvenir.

“I feel guilty,” he later told police in a recorded interview that was played during a preliminary hearing. “I feel like I did murder her. I helped her so much.”

Stewart said nothing Przybycien did directly caused Brown’s death.

“Her putting the noose around her neck, stepping onto the pedestal, and inhaling the compressed air so she passed out and slipped from the pedestal caused her death,” he said. “Without an assisted-suicide law in the State of Utah, prosecuting a young man for murder for actions that didn’t directly cause the death of another seems like a slippery slope. If someone’s actions didn't directly cause a death, juries will have to decide where cause begins and ends, and outcomes will be all over the place.”

Brown’s aunt, Polly Meija, disagreed.

“Her problem was, she thought she found a friend,” Meija told the Salt Lake paper. “And she found a monster.”
