Pazooka wrote: October 12th, 2024, 10:44 am In 1920s Southern California, the Klan was giving lectures on topics like “What’s the Matter with America?” Orange County was a hotbed for the KKK. They thought undocumented workers from Mexico as well as Catholics and Jews were a threat to Christian American values and democracy.

Some of these same fear pieces were employed to rile regular folks up - - convince them that their frustrations and unhappiness and lack of control could be traced to Illegals, Catholics, Jews and people peddling alcohol. Turns out some of the Klan leaders simply wanted to eliminate competition to their businesses.

The story about Haitians eating pets is obviously BS. But what if, let’s say, refugee Haitians were eating ducks? Whose ducks are they? What should they be eating instead? Is there enough on this earth “and to spare” for its inhabitants or is that a load of crap?
It turns out the duck isn't the main issue, it's the sheer numbers.
“There are a bunch of impoverished people out there in the world and they’re coming for your stuff” is a thought that strikes terror in the heart of every #Blessed person in America.

Springfield, OH had a population of over 80,000 in the 1970s. Even with the Haitians they’re not even back up to 60,000.
Oh yeah, no big deal.... Just millions upon millions of illegals, thousands of convicted murderers and sex offenders. But silly blessed Americans are just overreacting! Lmao

Lol I'm sure if you were surrounded by these people you'd have a different opinion. It's not hard to find first-hand accounts of what it's like for women and others who live around these people.

I feel bad for the plight of people who live in awful countries, but they can build where they stand. Stay out of our country

All these women with their toxic empathy will understand soon.

Going from Jewish mysticism to progressive feminism is actually more common than you think

"BUT THE PATRIARCHY!!!" lol

How did they get here? Then how did they get to Ohio? The answer to both questions deserves the death penalty. It's not like one can walk here from there.

The people should protect their pets better and the government should protect it's citizens better.

Open borders is a bad idea. But, like killing children even before they are born, one will never convince a democrat that it is wrong. After all, satan approves whole heartedly.

You can’t broadstroke all illegal immigrants onto the Haitian refugees and call them sex offenders and murderers. There was the one Haitian man whose driving was responsible for the death of a child on a bus, but his own father condemned the use of his son’s story to promote hate and intolerance.

Why didn’t the Mormons stay in Missouri? Shouldn’t they have built where they stood?

I actually think patriarchy might be at the root of your festering rage.

I’ll lump ALL the ILLEGAL ALIENS together. They came here illegally, round them up, send them home, or put them into prisons that are farms. Hell, make them corporate farms and they get three squares a day and a roof, or they go back to whatever hellhole they came from. The cost to our citizens is absurd. I’d go as far as mining the border if I were in charge.
And stop with all the kkk bs……….ya sound like a damn democrat

Rage? No , your progressive feminism doesn't get my rage. You follow the world, your ideology is like a disease. I don't rage at a disease, but I want it away from my community.

I don't care if 0% of illegals are criminals. Do not come

And there's a huge difference between immigrating to an established place and people...and settling a place and establishing a people

I’m actually studying CA history right now and the parallels between now and then are insane.

And maybe that’s the takeaway…to study history.

Slap a label on someone as if nothing else needs to be said. You just othered me so you can feel ok.

This is going on throughout the western world.

I was the only white person on my bus last night apart from the driver. When I joined this forum a couple of years ago it would have been the other way round.

Corporate bosses need a lot of cheap non-unionised labour.

In the U.S. Midwest it had more to do with global trade liberalization

Back in 1982-83, I was in the Army and stationed at the Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, CA. On a fairly regular basis, soldiers would be returning from a one-year stint in Korea. That is what is known as a hardship post and you have to leave your family behind if you're married. Several of the guys who returned brought with them a new Korean wife. With the influx of those wives came a corresponding decrease in the stray dog population.

My son ate dog while stationed in Iraq. He said it's stringy.
