Grandma

Post by Silver »

What would Grandma do?

My grandmothers have passed away. They were so good to me. I look forward to seeing them again some day. Since my parents, siblings and I were the first in our family to join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my grandparents have had their temple work done. It makes me feel very humble and grateful to know how the Plan of Salvation works across generations.

I'd like to invoke grandma, the spirit of grandma, in this thread. Imagine one of your kind, sweet grandmothers. Imagine that you're in her kitchen. The two of you are facing each other across her kitchen table and you tell her that you are working on a way to finance a large organization. Now, your grandmother, like mine, may have never done more than manage the family budget, but that's OK.

Let's pretend that you tell your grandmother that your idea is to allow a privately owned company to print unlimited pieces of paper money without concern for any backing by a known stable commodity. In addition to the printing, you tell your grandmother you will borrow money from foreign countries, even those who are opposed to our liberty and way of life, and pay them interest which will be used to strengthen their respective militaries.

You try to reassure grandma that you'll pay back the debts by having a strong collection agency in your organization that will take huge sums from people within your organization. You'll also have a militarized police force to fight back against anyone who disagrees with your strategy.

Grandma is frightened by such a plan and worried that one of her descendants would even come up with such a scheme. She wonders out loud where you got these harmful ideas. Of course, you rush to eliminate her fears by informing her that America does all that and more so it must be OK. Grandma, who never paid much attention to politics, is shocked.

Her advice to you is that you should shun such an awful system and make your organization live within its means, never spending more than it legally makes. That your organization should abide by its founding charter and only do good within the society where it is based.

She also tells you that if America has fallen so far, the very same men who destroyed it must no longer be allowed to lead it.

Oops, too late. Trump is stacking his Cabinet with traitors, just like himself.

Well, if the Washington Post is recommending the man, he must be OK...
"By Kathleen Parker Opinion writer November 22
President-elect Donald Trump’s flirtation with Mitt Romney as a possible pick for secretary of state has injected a sliver of hope and change into an evolving administration that could use some.

If ever there were a rarer pair — think Doberman and Labradoodle — I can’t think of one. Then again, how better to present a bad-cop/good-cop dynamic to a dangerous and fragile world? If Trump is perceived as unstable and potentially volatile, Romney is the face of calm, a steady hand to help guide the next president’s foreign policies." https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... story.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But wait, you say, not all those mean media types could be talking bad about Trump and not mean it, right? The mass media would never collude to create a narrative in America. They would never conspire to fool us, right?

Betsy DeVos, Trump's choice for Education Secretary (Oh, does this mean he's not going to dismantle the Department of Education since there is no justification for it under the Constitution? Then his oath to defend the Constitution as president is already null and void.):

DeVos' brother, Erik Prince, founded Blackwater USA, a private security firm which had operations in Iraq.[6] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betsy_DeVos" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Proving Trump is a traitor and would not be your grandma's choice is so easy.

Silver, speaking of Erik Prince, you might find this article interesting. It talks about Erik helping prep for Civil War in America. It's interesting to get someone else's view from outside of the U.S. http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2171.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Republicans Divided Between Romney and Giuliani for Secretary of State

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/24/us/po ... state.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"WASHINGTON — Rival factions of Republicans are locked in an increasingly caustic and public battle to influence President-elect Donald J. Trump’s choice for secretary of state, leaving a prominent hole in an otherwise quickly formed national security team that is unlikely to be filled until next week at the earliest.

The debate inside Mr. Trump’s wide circle of formal and informal advisers — pitting supporters of one leading contender, Mitt Romney, against those of another, Rudolph W. Giuliani — has led to the kind of dramatic airing of differences that characterized Mr. Trump’s unconventional and often squabbling campaign team."

Doomed if you do and doomed if you don't. Do either of those traitors sound like Tea Party or Alt-Right candidates to you? Same ol' people...same ol' problem. Yep, Trump is just going along with our Gadianton overlords.
