Silver Contest: Week 7 (of 11)
Hello Freedom Lovers,
Monday, 29May2017, Memorial Day, is the first day you can enter your silver price guess to win one (1) ounce of .999 fine silver in Week 7 of the Silver Contest.
Separatist won the Week 1 contest with a guess only 8 cents off the closing price.
2EstablishZion won Week 2 with a guess only 6 cents off the closing price.
Meili won Week 3 with a guess only 4 cents off the closing price.
gilgal won Week 4 with a guess only 1 cent off the closing price. AWESOME!
imontoya won Week 5 with a guess only 2 cents off the closing price and he claims it was just a lucky guess.
Older/Wiser won Week 6 with an exact guess of the closing price.
Five more chances to win.
Please submit your guesses in this thread, not the introductory thread.
The silver and the freight will be at absolutely no charge to the winners.

Holiday weekends make for slow delay, but Thank You Silver I'm on my way. If I'm going to save, shiney beats paper in everyway. Guessing the last few weeks was really fun, miss it now, darn, son of a gun!

Re: Silver Contest: Week 7 (of 11)
I was looking for numbers in all that, Older, but I didn't see them. Guess you're waiting to get a little closer to the target, eh?
I realized last week that you can use the same strategy in this contest as you do in the number picking game. You know, like when your mom used to say, pick a number between 1 and 10, and if the other person picked 7 then you would pick 6 and you had more of a chance to win. But then that gives those who guess last a much better chance of winning than anyone else. Not only can they see the most recent price posted and compare it to the trend over the past few days, but they can look for any gaps in the guesses and pick a number that will give them a higher chance of winning.
Kind of motivates you to wait until the last few minutes, eh?

Hope $17.31 is as good for you as it was for me Mirkwood. But then again $17.34 might nail it more.

I'll keep the same guess as last week - 17.13. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Second time I've made that mistake. Should I push for 3? They say third time's the charm . . .

I'd like to state for the record that I'm perfectly content losing if it means the rest of my stack just shot up in value again today.

relevant, sort of. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-0 ... ls-markets
Curiously, in the list of Banks associated with this price rigging - which includes Bank of America and Deutche Bank - JP Morgan is curiously absent. In the document records surrendered by Deutsche Bank and presented below, traders and submitters were captured coordinating trades in advance of a daily phone call, manipulating the spot market for silver, conspiring to fix the spread on silver offered to customers and using illegal strategies to rig prices.
