Thanks Silver, This is fun and it does give a bit of a diversion from all the craziness that goes on.

My pleasure. The Lord has been very good to me. My dad taught me long ago about the Constitution and the politicians who didn't keep their oath to defend it. A discussion about the value of precious metals was a natural outgrowth of dad's lessons.

I have always loved the Constitution and the blessings it has brought. I need to study it more in depth, thanks for the push.

I would like to see the price fall to this level so more of my Constitutional friends could add to their financial reserves at a lower cost.

The trend I've noticed is also a downward one, in that the closing price is always far below my historic bid. So, with that in mind...Meili wrote: ↑May 8th, 2017, 8:24 am Alright folks, don't spoil the trend. Someone needs to guess 2 cents off this week.

While I think his “possible number” is a bit crazy, there are some good fundamental points, particularly regarding the gold: silver ratio.

This historical chart of the ratio is also interesting. Currently the ratio is on the high end, over 70:1

Hi everyone (and ye lurkers too),
The cut-off time fast approaches. When it's high noon Texas time, the opportunity to enter your guess for this week's contest will end. 3 hours & 50 minutes from now.
