Karen Johnson for AZ Governor
Friday, April 17, 2009
Her legislative career is behind her, but former Arizona State Senator Karen Johnson (R-LDS) is considering a return to the political arena with a run for Governor of Arizona.
Johnson, who left office in 2008 after 12 years in the Legislature, filed an exploratory committee for a gubernatorial run on April 15. She said she filed at the urging of friends and colleagues who worked with her on Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, and is waiting to see what kind of support she gets before she decides whether she will officially file as a candidate. She also said she was prompted to run by what she views as a frightening encroachment of the federal government on states’ rights. I've gotten acquainted with her and believe she understands the US Constituion and has the integrity to be guided by its principles.

Re: Karen Johnson for AZ Governor
If I lived in Arizona, I'd vote for her. I admire her courage to speak up with her doubts regarding the events of 9/11. I'm sure that issue would get some play from her opponents if she enters the race.

I expect Karen Johnson will encounter heavy opposition from those who support illegal immigration and amnesty for illegals. I believe she understands that the illegal immigration problem was deliberately created and fostered by elements including Ted Kennedy, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Bush and others who are part of the conspiracy to destroy this country by various means including flooding it with people who will be supportive of socialist programs that will wreck the country economically.

I will need to do some research on this woman. I live in Arizona. I was hoping Ernest Hancock would run or Barry Hess

You were hoping. Have they announced yet? If not, perhaps they should so if Karen is eliminated, they can pick up and carry on. Sounds like a terrific chance to find out what Arizona is for throughout all it's citizenry. It's hard to believe the majority of voters are in league with the devil, just a very active and monied group.ldsff wrote:I will need to do some research on this woman. I live in Arizona. I have to assume from what I've read about AZ, that anyone campaigining to clean up the state will incurr the wrath of many unscroupulous people who pack heat illegally.

Janet Napolitano did not get to be governor for so long by promoting constitutional principles and honest government. The current governor, Jan Brewer, just fell into the governors seat when Napolitano vacated. It's gonna take big bucks for KJ to mount an effective campaign.

Ernie is the one that pressured Karen to run, so I doubt he will run, unless it is on the Libertarian ticket against Karen (assuming she makes it through the primary).

Ernie is not the only one who leaned on KJ to consider running. She has many supporters who appreciate and admire her and have suggested she go for it. She made it clear that even Jan Brewer had as much to do with her decision as anyone else.

I think I would too, considering how outspoken she has been after learning that 9/11 was not what we were told by the DC Mafia. You know... it truly is amazing that people like Ron Paul and Dr. Jones haven't been 'suicided' yet (one for exposing the truth about the 'Fed' and the other for exposing the truth about 9/11 scientifically (even though there are others out there who do as well, it's just that his scientific research using high-tech lab equipment at BYU has proven thermite/thermate to be what felled the WTC's). 'Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth' is also a great organization trying to wake people up to what's going on, but Dr. Jones started the movement.lundbaek wrote:And she packs heat sometimes when she's out and about.

Re: Karen Johnson for AZ Governor
I have known and been a good friend with Karen Johnson for many years. I helped her in first election and have helped her many times on some education issues. She supports Barry Hess in the race for Gov.
I was hoping she would run, but she is really sick of all the games. Hands down is she is one true patriot. Yes, she does know all the in's and out's of the conspiring minds. She is fantastic. I remember when she and I attended a meeting in CA together just shortly after 9/11 and the Patriot Act was put into place, and we stayed up most of the night talking about preemptive war and the BOM. She is amazing!
