I actually took this survey back on June 8th when I was in the Bean life science museum at BYU while visiting relatives for the week.

I took the survey, but was disappointed in the last page of questions, which doesn't really differentiate between different flavors of 'evolution'.

The strict interpretation of most evolutionists, at least in their professional lives', is that creation is from the bottom up, i.e., they are reductionists who believe that everything arises from 'matter/'physical' energy. They believe that organic evolution proceeds mainly by chance genetic mutations, though this is becoming tempered by the idea that genes may be environmentally modified in some way by processes encompassed by the term: epigenetics.
