Martinez, who claims he was drunk, shot at drivers with an assault rifle on an 18 mile stretch of Interstate 35.

One seven-year-old girl was hit in the head and is still in critical condition.

Rolando Martinez is an illegal alien.
INS was contacted.
KXAN reported:

…Officials arrested Martinez at a home on municipal traffic warrants Saturday. When they questioned him, he told them he had been drinking at the Nocturno Nightclub and didn’t remember much from that night but he did remember waking up in a grassy median near the freeway, according to the affidavit…

…Martinez’s bond is set at $1 million. According to Travis County Jail records, he has an Immigration and Naturalization Service detainer on him.

"A Dallas man was arrested near the White House on Monday after police were told he was in the nation’s capital to kill “all white police,” the Secret Service.

The Secret Service stated that it was notified by the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland that Michael Arega had expressed his intentions to his ex-wife.

Montgomery County Police said Arega’s ex-wife contacted them Monday afternoon regarding statements made by her ex-husband, CNN reported.
Arega’s ex-wife was concerned about her ex-husband’s mental and emotional health. She told police that he had stopped taking his prescriptions.

“Troubling messages” on his Facebook page triggered her call to authorities.

Arega had posted statements about police and also said that President Donald Trump should be put in jail.

A Facebook page belonging to a Michael Arega who lives in Dallas, and which showed that he was near the White House on Monday, included the comment, “Kill Him in JESUS NAME !!” above a picture of Trump.

The page also has a comment that said, “Now i am going to there to white House make sure kill All white POLICE!!”

Other posts to the page showed that he disagreed with Trump on multiple issues.

“Glory To God ! Covered Obama care what a wonderful insurance for middle class !!,” he posted earlier this year.

Police responded to a motel in Silver Spring, Maryland, where Arega was staying, but he had left before they arrived.
Secret Service personnel at the White House immediately increased their posture of readiness and began searching for Arega.
The Secret Service located Arega on the north side of Pennsylvania Avenue near Lafayette Park.
Arega was detained and arrested at 4:05 p.m., police said.
He was later transferred to the custody of the Metropolitan Police Department. Arega has been charged with making felony threats."

Most of the world has far more violence than the United States.
And as pointed out in the last post before this, there are mostly certain areas of the United States where the violence is centered. These are usually long time Democratic controlled areas, and were once truthfully described as ghettos, barrios, or ethnic enclaves. Certain concentrations of like minded groups of people.
Like minded meaning they all believe in violence. And certain other ethnic or "cultural" factors.
But this is all ignored by the mainstream media when they talk about "we" are so violent. I'm not and my community is not. But I have a policy of staying out of those urban central areas where the violence is concentrated.

Certain areas of the world, certain parts of Mexico, certain parts of Caribbean islands, much or all of Africa has far greater amounts of violence than even these worst areas of the United States.

But that's the litany. It's "our" problem. It isn't. All those individuals in those areas make their daily choices as to how they will live their lives. And I cannot make those choices for them.

Neither can the government.

"Senator Rand Paul has been one of Donald Trump’s top allies in the Senate. And it’s earned him the hatred of the left. But he was at his home when a Democrat barged on to his property and launched one unthinkable assault. Paul was mowing his lawn when his neighbour, Rene Boucher, violently attacked him. Boucher allegedly tackled Paul so violently, he sustained five fractured ribs and it’s uncertain when he can return to Washington. Even more disturbing is that this attack is being investigated as a planned assault specifically because of Paul’s politics.Boucher is a registered Democrat whom neighbours say is a vocal socialist. He also has multiple social media posts ranting about President Trump.
The Blaze reports:
“The FBI has confirmed the motive behind the assault on Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).
According to local Kentucky news station WNKY-TV, the FBI launched an investigation into the attack shortly after it happened. They believe the attack, which occurred Friday afternoon, was politically motivated.
The Daily Caller revealed Saturday evening that the assailant, 59-year-old Rene Boucher, is a registered Democrat whose Facebook page was riddled with posts voicing his opposition to President Donald Trump and the GOP.
Boucher allegedly assaulted Paul while he was mowing his lawn around 3:20 p.m. Friday afternoon. According to reports, the two are neighbors and have had an ongoing feud, though it’s not clear what the disagreement is.
Boucher was arrested Friday night and booked in the Warren Country Regional Jail on $5,000 bond. He was charged with fourth degree assault. He has since been released, according to WNKY. It’s not clear when his first court date will be.”

This is the second time this year Paul has been the victim of an unhinged Democrat committing violence. Over the summer, Paul was among the Congressional Republicans practicing for a baseball game when a Bernie Sanders supporter targeted them for assassination. The liberal shooter was only stopped because of Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s armed security detail. This attack on Senator Paul is just as shocking. His private property was invaded by a lunatic liberal who had mayhem on his mind. The violent attack on Senator Paul is the latest example of how the left has lost their minds over the election of Donald Trump.Despite the fake news media narrative that Trump is poisoning the political discourse, it’s the liberals who are targeting Republican lawmakers with attempted killings or beatings."

"A father in Florida reportedly prevented his 17-year-old daughter from being kidnapped after he used his gun to scare off the alleged attackers. As reported by the New York Post, the father fired several shots as four suspects attempted to break into his garage. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office reported that the four suspects believed the 51-year-old father was wealthy, and devised a plan to rob his home and kidnap his daughter.

Deputies said on Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. they responded to a call about a home-invasion robbery.

The father told deputies that his daughter called him and said someone had blocked the roads to their home with barrels. Police believe the suspects were trying to force the daughter to exit her vehicle and walk to her house. However, the barrels didn’t stop the daughter; she drove her car around them and made her way back to her house, according to police.

“A short time later her father heard his dogs barking and saw his front motion-activated flood lights come on,” the police statement explained. “He also heard what sounded like his car door closing and went to get his gun.”

The father said he fired three shots after he noticed several people were trying to break into his garage. Thankfully, this sent the scared thugs running away into the woods, according to police. The Post reported that all four suspects have been charged with attempted home invasion robbery and attempted kidnapping.

The police statement explained that police found several masks, guns, a knife, a roll of tape, and latex gloves inside the SUV the four teenagers were driving."

"Police officers face danger and uncertainty on a daily basis, and there’s no doubt that their bravery saves lives.
While police quick thinking and the proper training often protects civilians, sometimes a cop ends up in a situation where he has to save his own life — and every second matters.
That’s exactly the scenario that a Pennsylvania state trooper just found himself in. Cpl. Seth Kelly was shot several times on Tuesday by an armed criminal resisting arrest.
“Kelly was helping another trooper arrest Daniel Clary, whom they suspected of driving under the influence of marijuana, when Clary began fighting with the troopers,” reported The Associated Press.
“The struggle lasted nearly two minutes, and at one point all three men were ‘wrestling and rolling around’ the right lane of busy Route 33 as cars and trucks whizzed by them on the left,” the news service reported.
The suspect was hit with a non-lethal stun gun, but that didn’t stop him. He managed to break free and grab a handgun from his car.
Kelly was hit at least three times. Wounded in the neck, shoulder, and leg, he knew that he had to act fast or not live to see another day.
In real life, unlike Hollywood, leg wounds can be the most deadly. The femoral artery carries a vast amount of blood flow, and a gunshot wound to the leg can cause a victim to bleed to death within minutes.
However, the 13-year veteran cop was carrying a life-saving device and knew how to use it: A tactical tourniquet.
State police officials told the AP that the quick application of his tourniquet likely kept Kelly alive. He was flown to a nearby hospital and is recovering, the AP reported.
“He’s battling. He’s certainly not out of the woods by any means, but … he is a very strong individual and he displayed a will yesterday that he wanted to live and get through this,” Capt. Richard D’Ambrosio of the Pennsylvania State Police said at a news conference.
The suspect who shot the officer was also wounded, and is now facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault."

"DANVILLE — A 31-year-old man with a long criminal record was formally charged on Friday in the brutal stabbing death of a fellow Georgetown man.
Gregory A. Johnson, of Georgetown, faces three counts of first-degree murder, Class M felonies, in Tuesday's death of 21-year-old Timothy Ellis, a husband and father of two young children.
Johnson was also charged with one count of criminal damage to government property, a Class 4 felony, and one count of criminal trespass to a residence, a Class A misdemeanor, stemming from a separate case.
At his arraignment hearing at the Rita B. Garman Vermilion County Courthouse, friends and family members of Mr. Ellis wept as State's Attorney Jacqueline Lacy presented the charges.
Lacy said that on Tuesday, the defendant arrived at the victim's house to ask him if he could move a couch. The victim agreed and walked with the defendant to his house, at 201 W. 15th St.
"On the way there, the defendant was accusing the victim of having feelings for a 16-year-old girl they both knew. The victim denied it," Lacy said.
After arriving at the defendant's house, "the defendant became completely and totally enraged and started stabbing the victim multiple times, slashing his throat," Lacy said. "Then he concealed his body."
Lacy said after the defendant was arrested and read his rights by police, he gave them a full confession.
Associate Judge Mark Goodwin assigned the public defender's office to represent Johnson, and the defendant's attorney, Assistant Public Defender Alia Horwick, pleaded "not guilty" to the charges on her client's behalf.
Goodwin also upheld Lacy's recommendation that Johnson be held on a $5 million bond for both cases, meaning he would have to post $500,000 in order to be released.
Lacy said Johnson has a long criminal past. He was sentenced to four years in prison for a Class 3 theft in Kankakee County, sentenced to another four-year term for a 2013 aggravated battery-strangulation case in Champaign County, and has convictions in a 2006 marijuana case in Cook County and a 2013 theft case in Champaign County.
He's currently on probation for a Class A domestic battery case in Vermilion County.
If Johnson is convicted of murder, he faces 20 to 60 years in prison, and would be required to serve 100 percent of his sentence.
Mr. Ellis was reported as a missing person on Wednesday, according to Georgetown police Chief Whitney Renaker.
Renaker said police identified and interviewed Johnson, whom they considered "a person of interest" at the time, and later arrested him on unrelated charges. When they interviewed him again the following day, he gave the confession and gave police the location of the victim's remains.
Georgetown police, along with investigators from the Vermilion County sheriff's office and Illinois State Police, located Mr. Ellis' body in the 200 block of West 15th Street."

"DANVILLE — A Danville man is headed to prison for 20 years in connection with a June 2016 gang-related shootout at Garfield Park that claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy caught in the crossfire.
Dallaz A. Camareno, 20, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder in exchange for the sentence, which will be followed by two years of mandatory supervised release.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of mob action for his role in the fatal shooting of Devon McClyde, a Danville High School student who’d just finished playing basketball in the park and was shot in the head while walking toward the Boys and Girls Club.
According to the statement of facts at Wednesday’s plea hearing in Vermilion County Circuit Court, Danville police were dispatched to the park at 820 N. Griffin St. at 9:55 p.m. on June 8, 2016, for a report of shots fired.
Detectives were to testify that bullet shells were collected at the scene, but a gun was never recovered, and their investigation determined that there were several shooters in the area that night.
Police said another person charged in the incident told them he was a member of the Wild Land Gang and Camareno was a member of the 450 Gang, and the two groups were at odds with each other."

"16-year-old Kayla Holland and 16-year-old Adrianna Castro were both shot to death Tuesday night at around 9 PM outside of a two-story brick house on East Washington Street, Winchester. Kayla Holland died at the scene, Adrianna Castro was taken to Clark Regional Hospital, where she died. There were a number of witnesses at the scene. 18-year-old Mikaela Buford, 24-year-old Denzel Hill, 22-year-old Darian Skinner, and 18-year-old Ronnie Ellis have all since been arrested for the horrific crimes... Winchester police Capt. James Hall said.

The first three were arrested for first-degree murder and then later a teenager showed up to the Winchester Police Department with information that led to the arrest of Ellis as an accessory to homicide. Each of the suspects is now in custody under a $1,000,000.00 cash bond set by the Judge who said these two girls died “way too young.”
Police say Mikaela Buford drove the three men to those apartments. Police say they are searching for a fifth person connected to the shooting and there could be additional charges for others."

https://constitution.com/antifa-agitato ... e-devices/

"The liberal New Civil War is in full effect, as fringe anarcho-fascists such as Antifa continue to disrupt the rest of American culture.
From the moment that Donald Trump entered the presidential race of 2016, a violent streak had emerged on the left side of American politics. Agitators from the organization oxymoronically named “Antifa” began descending upon the soon-to-be President’s events, battling police and attempting to disrupt our American electoral process. At one point, Trump was even forced to abandon his motorcade on account of the ridiculous antics of these masked, marauding millennials.
The group grew and intensified as Trump rose to power, and have now become a staple of organized violence across the country. Antifa has been redrawing political lines in the sand that bolster their hair-trigger tempers, hoping to create a sense of chaos in any and all media coverage of the current administration.
One of their own, a man named Christopher Langer, was recently arrested after threatening to detonate an explosive during an argument with his parents. What authorities discovered in the ensuing arrest and investigation was beyond disturbing.
“A Florida man who told officials he was anti-government and wanted to hurt first responders had explosive devices and substances in his parents’ house that could cause a ‘significant destruction and loss of life,’ police said on Monday.
“Christopher Langer, 31, was allegedly intoxicated and arguing with his parents just after 4 p.m. on Sunday when he said he placed explosive substances in a grenade, police said. His parents called police on the domestic disturbance, who responded to the call and contacted the bomb squad, prompting a more than 13-hour investigation.
“’It was a tale of two homes,’ Volusia Sheriff Michael Chitwood said at a news conference on Monday. ‘When you first walk in, you say, ‘I can’t believe someone is in here making bombs.’ And then you go into his room, which is absolutely deplorable that if I was a roach I wouldn’t want to live in that room.’
“Langer initially denied having a grenade, but then admitted he threw it outside and offered to lead investigators to it. A deputy found a pineapple-like grenade with a paperclip that prevented it from detonating, police said. Langer had allegedly purchased it at a supply store.
“About 200 other containers were discovered inside the home. They contained unknown powders and acids — including nitric acid, sulfuric acid, sulfur — and other materials. Most of the bottles contained bodily fluids, not bomb-making materials that the bomb squad initially suspected.”
Given Antifa’s fondness for the use of urine in their chaotic campaigns, it stands to reason that Langer was likely incorporating this foul tactic into his bomb-making enterprise.
These horrendously violent and radical leftists will certainly continue to multiply and indoctrinate the malleable youth of our nation thanks to the near-blackout of coverage from the mainstream media – a conglomerate of organizations who have largely enabled Antifa and the anarchic liberal base in their quest for upheaval."

Attack on Rand Paul was Political; Neighbors Refute Claim of a “Feud”

by James Buchanan

"Remember when Senator Rand Paul was viciously attacked by his neighbor, and all the liberal media outlets were claiming there was a feud between Paul and his neighbor. Well, it turns out that was a load of garbage designed to hide yet another political act of violence by a deranged liberal.

Image

A Fox News article reports “More of Sen. Rand Paul’s neighbors are speaking out and casting doubt on reports that a mere ‘landscaping dispute’ led to the attack a week ago that left the Republican lawmaker hospitalized with six broken ribs.”

“As the suspect — 59-year-old neighbor and anesthesiologist Rene Boucher — pleads not guilty to a single misemeanor assault charge, the motive for what Paul’s office describes as a ‘blindside’ remains a total mystery.”

Unfortunately, the Fox News journalists are as lazy or complicit as the rest of the media. Boucher is a virulent anti-Trump Democrat according to his social media posts. Was it too difficult to report that or is there an agenda to cover up leftist political violence against the Right?

Also, how do you break six ribs and only get charged with a misdemeanor? Let me guess: A liberal activist judge, who doesn’t consider a psychotic assault on a Republican senator “a big deal.”

The article continues “The New York Times initially reported neighborhood chatter suggesting a long-running landscaping disagreement led to last Friday’s attack in Kentucky.”

“Boucher’s attorney, Matt Baker, has insisted the incident had ‘nothing to do’ with politics.”

“But neighbors now say the notion of a yard dispute gone wrong doesn’t add up.”

Of course the lawyer is going to lie. That’s what they do. An attack on a member of Congress is a felony by the way. Has anyone seen Jeff Sessions lately or is Boucher in the same protected category above the law as Hillary Clinton?

The article notes “In an interview with Fox News, Paul’s neighbor of 17 years, Dan Renshaw, a local car dealer in Bowling Green, was dismissive of reports that the incident stemmed from anything having to do with ‘lawn clippings,’ given the severity of the attack. He said U.S. Capitol Police have been to the neighborhood, signaling an intensifying local and federal investigation into last week’s incident.”

“Further, Renshaw said his son-in-law — who sits on a neighborhood board — told him there’s never been any reports of conflicts between the two men…”

If someone actually did have a dispute with a neighbor about hedges or whatever, most people would try to settle it by talking with the neighbor.

If that didn’t work, they would check the law and call police if the neighbor were doing something illegal. If there were local community rules, they could use those to resolve the problem.

The liberal media INVENTED the story about there being a feud between Rand Paul and his neighbor to cover up the political motivation for the attack.

Except for being a Republican senator, Rand Paul seems about as controversial a neighbor as Ned Flanders. It’s obvious this was another case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” involving an aging liberal Democrat, who couldn’t handle the fact that Trump is president. Boucher was radicalized by the rantings of Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper and he chose to violently attack a Republican senator as part of the Democrat/Antifa war on Trump."

James Buchanan is not correct it stating that "Except for being a Republican senator, Rand Paul seems about as controversial a neighbor as Ned Flanders." I find Senator Paul to be a strong constitutionalist, although to the extent that his father was while in the U.S. "House". It is uite conceivable that he has incurred the wrath of many Americans who are of strong socialist persuasions and who find him a serious threat to their unearned "perks".

At least five people are dead, including a suspected gunman said after a series of shootings outside an elementary school and multiple other locations in rural Northern California. Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said the suspect was randomly picking targets.
The sound of gunfire was in the air, and school officials ordered an immediate lockdown. Their decision most likely prevented what was already a deadly rampage in this rural hamlet southwest of Red Bluff from becoming a bloodbath on the scale of Sandy Hook in Connecticut.
Apparently infuriated by a longstanding dispute with neighbours, a gunman armed with a semi-automatic rifle and two handguns shot four people to death in the tiny community of Rancho Tehama Reserve early Tuesday. Clad in a military-style assault vest capable of storing multiple rounds of ammunition, the man wounded at least 10 others before officers rammed into the stolen vehicle he was driving, shot him and killed him.
The Tehama Sheriff’s Department said the number of fatalities might grow. Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said officials are worried because they’ve had trouble locating several of the gunman’s relatives.
As bad as the spree was, Johnston said he was thankful it wasn’t worse. Although two young boys were shot in the early morning rampage, including one inside Rancho Tehama Elementary School, the assistant sheriff said no students or teachers were killed. He credited school officials with locking down the campus without even waiting for the customary notification from the Sheriff’s Department.
The incident “could have been so much worse if it wasn’t for the quick thinking of staff at our elementary school,” Johnston said at a late afternoon press conference. “He couldn’t make access to any of the rooms; they were locked....This saved countless lives.”
Multiple sources told The Sacramento Bee that the dead suspect was Kevin Janson Neal, 43.
Johnston refused to confirm the identification, pending notification of family members. But he said one of the fatalities was a woman who lived near the suspect and was the victim of a late January assault that ended with the suspect in jail. Johnston added that he believed the suspect was slapped with a restraining order following the January arrest that would have prevented him from owning firearms for at least a period of time, although he had no details on that.
Neal was initially jailed in late January in the assault case and was being held on $160,000 bail, according to the Red Bluff Daily News. In April the district attorney’s office charged him with assaulting a second woman, also in late January, according to Tehama County Superior Court records.
Gregg Cohen, the Tehama district attorney, told The Bee that his office was prosecuting Neal on charges related to a stabbing and assault with a deadly weapon involving two of his neighbors.
Johnston said the gunman had one and possibly two rifles during the spree, including one that “appears to be an AR-type weapon,” as well as two handguns. He was wearing the type of vest worn by soldiers for carrying ammunition, Johnston said.
Tuesday’s rampage, which lasted about 45 minutes, began on Bobcat Lane in Rancho Tehama, a rural community of 1,400 residents southwest of Red Bluff. That’s where the gunman killed his first two victims, including the woman victimized in the January assault. Brian Flint of Corning told The Record Searchlight newspaper that his roommate was one of those killed by the gunman, whom he identified only as “Kevin.” Flint said the suspect, who lived nearby, frequently shot hundreds of rounds from high-capacity magazines and had threatened him and his roommate in the past.
After the shootings on Bobcat Lane, the gunman stole a white pickup truck that belonged to one of the victims and began making his way toward the school, firing shots at random passers-by along the way.
“This is an individual that armed himself, I think with the motive of getting even with his neighbors,” Johnston said. “And when it got that far, he went on a rampage....He was driving up and down the street shooting at passerbys.”
Other than the first two victims, “we know of no real connection to any of the victims,” Johnston said. “Most of the victims in this case appear to be random selections.”
Several of his shots struck a car carrying a mom and her three children. The mother was severely injured and one of her sons was injured as well, although his wounds weren’t considered life threatening, Johnston said. “She was trying to drive herself to the hospital when I encountered her on the road,” Johnston said. “She told me that she doesn’t know this person.”
Eyewitness Mariana Aguiniga said she was driving to Red Bluff when she heard shots and came upon a minivan driven by the woman. “She wanted to know if I could take her to the hospital. Then she showed me,” Aguiniga said, motioning to her back. “It was covered in blood.”
By the time the shooter got to within a quarter mile of the school, school officials ordered the lockdown, Johnston said. The gunman crashed the vehicle, a pickup truck, through the gate of the school and prowled the yard for several minutes, able only to get inside a bathroom.
Stephanie Turner, who was dropping off her 6-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, told The Sacramento Bee she saw the white pickup “rammed through the bus gate,” and then noticed a man stalking the school grounds.
“I thought there was a car accident,” Turner said. “I pulled into the school and heard gunshots. I told my kids to get down onto the floor. Then I saw a guy in the back of the school with a rifle. As soon as he saw us, he started shooting at us. I just took off.”
At some point he shot out several classroom windows, striking one of the students, before leaving the school grounds. School officials, in a statement released by Corning Union Elementary School District, said some students were injured by shattered glass. The student who was struck by gunfire was reported in stable condition, the district said.
A cousin and uncle of the 6-year old boy shot at the elementary school identified him as Alejandro Hernandez. Arlene Monroy, 17, said she had been told her cousin was shot in the chest and leg, but was recovering and expected to be all right.
The district said Rancho Tehama Elementary “is closed until further notice in order for law enforcement to complete its investigation and to make necessary repairs. The District will make alternate arrangements for student instruction.”
Parent Coy Ferreira told Redding TV station KRCR that he was dropping his daughter off at kindergarten when he heard a shot. A school employee ran out and told the children to get in the classroom. “It sounded like a firecracker went off and we all stopped and were stunned. Then, like a minute later, there were three more shots fired,” Ferreira said.
In the chaos, Ferreira said it appeared two children had been shot.
Ferreira said he ran into a classroom with 14 students. He said a series of shots came through the classroom windows, hitting one student. Ferreira said a young boy was shot in the foot and the chest. He said another student in an adjacent classroom was shot under the arm. Both students were conscious, he said.
“He became frustrated at not being able to get into the classroom,” Johnston said. “He went mobile again.”
Getting back in the stolen pickup, the shooter drove along Stage Coach Road, one of the main thoroughfares of Rancho Tehama, and then rammed the truck into another car. He shot the two passengers as they tried to flee their vehicle, killing one and wounding the other.
Johnston said he couldn’t provide details on the fourth death attributed to the gunman.
The ordeal began to finally wind down when another passerby who was following the shooter stopped his car and asked if everyone was alright. The gunman then shot and wounded that man, grabbed his vehicle and took off. At that point law enforcement officers finally caught up with the gunman. Johnston said two officers rammed into his stolen vehicle, forcing him off the road. Shots were exchanged and the suspect was dead.
Seven different shooting locations were being treated as separate crime scenes, and much of the Rancho Tehama community was locked for hours after the incident was over.
Rancho Tehama Reserve, located 12 miles west of I-5 between Red Bluff and Corning, is a rural, wooded subdivision that boasts views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. It’s about 2 1/2 hours north of Sacramento.
The 11-square-mile community has its own airstrip. Until Tuesday, the biggest controversy in Rancho Tehama came four years ago, when residents of the subdivision complained to county supervisors about marijuana being grown illegally throughout the subdivision.
The county’s drug task force said it fielded hundreds of complaints about pot gardens in the area.
“There’s a lot of druggies living out here,” said community resident Mel McNeil. “But there’s lots of druggies living everywhere.”
Former Tehama County sheriff’s deputy Kyle Pflager, who runs a Facebook page that monitors local emergency services, said the area around the school is secluded. It was originally meant to be a retirement community but has evolved into a haven for marijuana growers.
“It does not surprise me that it happened in Rancho Tehama,” Pflager said. “There is violence there … The whole area is just cluttered with marijuana gardens, everywhere. Pretty much when we went out there on patrol, you’d have to have two units at least. There is not much law enforcement presence out there. We don’t patrol there often.”
Pflager said the school serves about 90 to 100 children.
Plfager also said the area around the school was known to the department for lawlessness.
“If you are trying to pull a car over, one out of every two cars would run,” Pflager said. “That’s the type of community out there.”

"Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahman, 20, of Minneapolis stabbed two men at the Mall of America after they tried to stop him from stealing clothes inside the dressing room at Macy’s.
His middle name, Abdiaziz, means “the slave of Allah the master,” a native Arabic speaker told WND.His first name, Mahad, means “the one who preaches and invites people to Islam.”Abdirahman is a common Somali Muslim last name. It means “the slave of Allah who is the gracious.”

Minnesota has the largest population of Somali refugees in the U.S., with numbers approaching 100,000, and Gov. Mark Dayton has told residents of the state that if they are not comfortable living among the refugees they “should find another state.”…
