“On Thanksgiving Day, as we have for nearly four centuries, Americans give thanks to Almighty God for our abundant blessings,” was the first sentence of Trump’s proclamation.
“As one people, we seek God’s protection, guidance, and wisdom, as we stand humbled by the abundance of our great Nation and the blessings of freedom, family, and faith,” he stated later."

Trump expected to meet with LDS officials during Utah visit

Trump expected to meet with LDS officials during Utah visit

SALT LAKE CITY — (KUTV) President Trump is expeted to meet with LDS church officials as part of his visit to Utah on Monday.

The meeting was confirmed by Matt Whitlock, a spokesman for Sen. Orrin Hatch, and said Hatch invited Trump to meet with church leaders when he spoke to the president about reducing Utah monuments. It is believed Trump will announce a reduction in the Grand Staircase-Escalante and Bears Ears national monuments during his visit.

Trump will be flying into Salt Lake City to make the announcement. He is reportedly not expected to spend the night in Utah but will visit the LDS church's Welfare Square.

Whitlock gave KUTV this statement:
Senator Hatch has arranged for the President to meet with LDS Church leadership and to see the incredible work taking place at Welfare Square. In the past, Senator Hatch has arranged similar visits for Presidents and takes great pride in showcasing this iconic facility.
Details about the times and the locations of the meeting were not available. It is not known which LDS officials Trump would meet with. The White House is expected to make an announcement about the visit Wednesday.

An LDS church spokesman said the church wouldn't make a comment on any travel plans by the president and any information about a visit would come from the White House.

The official name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City. It is commonly known as the Mormon church, although other religious groups also believe in the Book of Mormon and can also be called Mormons.

Will any fun pictures be taken?

"First lady Melania Trump revealed the White House Christmas decorations on Monday, and they are a far cry from what we saw during the Obamas’ last Christmas at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

One noticeable difference between the two types of decorating styles is the ambiance created.

Melania’s chosen decorations evoke a magical and peaceful tone, as demonstrated with white lights and traditional decorations.
Trump posted a video to Instagram of the decorations, and some of the scenes look as though the White House has been transformed into a winter wonderland.
The video also included a nativity scene, signaling the president’s promise to replace the homogenized “Happy Holidays” with “Merry Christmas.”
One way to do that is to recognize how important Jesus is to the Christmas season.

In contrast, the Obama’s last Christmas at the White House was filled with Lego gingerbread houses. The U.K. Daily Mail reported that a team of Lego builders created 56 gingerbread houses from more than 200,000 Lego pieces.
Because Christmas is all about Legos.
The Obama Christmas decorations also included real gingerbread houses. The U.K. Daily Mail reported that the gingerbread replica of the White House weighed more than 300 pounds, and included 150 pounds of gingerbread covered with 100 pounds of bread dough.

Other decorations in the Obama White House looked more like giant toys than anything else.
In fact, from looking at the decorations, one could not tell that they were related the birth of Christ at all.
That isn’t surprising, as former President Barack Obama did his best to erase any trace of Christianity from the White House when he lived there.

Children at White House Awed by Melania Trump: “She Looks Like an Angel”
Thankfully, we have a president who is not afraid to recognise where the spirit of Christmas comes from.”

"When President Donald Trump presided over the 95th annual lighting of the National Christmas Tree on Thursday, he reminded everyone that Jesus is reason for the season by an invocation at the ceremony that was openly, unapologetically Christian.

“For Christians this is a holy season, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Trump said, according to CNS, standing before a Colorado blue spruce tree that was covered by thousands of lights.

“The Christmas story begins 2,000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son, and the most extraordinary gift of all — the gift of God’s love for all of humanity,” he continued.

“Whatever our beliefs, we know that the birth of Jesus Christ and the story of this incredible life forever changed the course of human history.

“There’s hardly an aspect of our lives today that his life has not touched — art, music, culture, law and our respect for the sacred dignity of every person, everywhere in the world.”

Talk about amazing. We haven’t heard a president talk about Jesus like that in years — and it’s refreshing to hear it now.

Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke must have known what was coming when he introduced Trump, according to The Associated Press, as “a man who loves our parks, loves our military, and loves our country. The man who brought ‘Merry Christmas’ back to our nation’s capital — and you did, sir.”

The lighting ceremony was followed by an hourlong celebration hosted by NBC’s “Today” show co-host Kathy Lee Gifford and actor Dean Cane.

The Beach Boys, singer Wynnona Judd and the U.S. Navy Band also performed at the event, ABC News reported.

Trump also wished his Twitter followers Merry Christmas

Trump has made several efforts to follow through on his vow to bring “Merry Christmas” back, and to hear him speak of Jesus this way is an amazing follow-up to that promise.

It’s also a wonderful way to get the season off on to a joyous start.

Of course, liberals will will turn into grinches when they hear what the president said, but they are rarely happy anyway.

For those who are interested, the Hallmark Channel will be airing an episode of the lighting of the National Christmas Tree on Dec. 4."

MormonLeaks™ Releases the Posthumous Temple Records for the Parents and Grandparents of Donald J. Trump

Post by Joel »

MormonLeaks™ Releases the Posthumous Temple Records for the Parents and Grandparents of Donald J. Trump

The Mormon Church believes everyone will have the chance to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ whether on earth or in the after life. They also believe in order to make it to the highest level of heaven after accepting the Gospel, one must receive certain ordinances such as baptism, Mormon temple sealing, etc. These are administered to the dead posthumously in Mormon temples throughout the world on a persistent basis. Mormons believe that the dead will have the opportunity to accept or reject said ordinances after they have been performed and believe they need to be performed for everyone. More information around these beliefs can be found here.

MormonLeaks™ has released the ordinance records for Donald J. Trump’s parents, Frederick Christ Trump and Mary Ann MacLeod, and grandparents, Friedrich Trump and Elisabeth Marie Christ.

These records are only available to members of the Mormon Church whose name is still active on the records of the Church. For reference and verification, links have been provided with each record.

"Thomas Homan, acting chief of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), said Monday that immigration enforcement is thriving under President Trump's leadership unlike any recent commander in chief, reports the Washington Examiner. "This president has done more for border security and public safety than any of the six presidents I've worked for. Just since his leadership in January, border crossings are at a 45-year low. Now that's not a coincidence. That's because this president has let the men and women of Border Patrol and ICE do their job," Homan told Fox News' "Fox and Friends."

"President Donald Trump reminded everyone in the nation during the White House tree lighting that Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season.
As recorded on The White House website, the lighting ceremony took place on Nov. 30.
President Trump carried on White House tradition and spoke at the ceremony. Without hesitation or embarrassment, he took the stage and immediately began to recall the Christmas story.
“The Christmas Story begins 2,000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son, and the most extraordinary gift of all—the gift of God’s love for all of humanity,” he began.
“Whatever our beliefs, we know that the birth of Jesus Christ and the story of his life forever changed the course of human history,” he continued.
The president wasn’t afraid to keep mentioning the name of Jesus or tell America the truth about the Christmas season: it’s all about the birth of Jesus Christ.

“Each and every year at Christmas time we recognize that the real spirit of Christmas is not what we have, it’s about who we are – each one of us is a child of God,” Trump continued, according to LifeSite News.
“That is the true source of joy this time of the year. That is what makes every Christmas ‘merry,'” he stated.
Trump has always upheld that God plays a major role in the very core of our country.
Even during his presidential campaign, the president called for “Merry Christmas” to become the norm once again instead of the secularized, “Happy Holidays.”
While the mention of God and prayer is being erased from schools and the public square, the president is once again reaffirming the Christian values that undergird our nation.

Watch President Trump’s beautiful speech. The Facebook video of his speech has garnered over 7 million views and it’s no surprise.
Americans have been waiting for a leader who will recognize God and invite Him to once again be the center of our great nation.
Acknowledging that Christmas is a holiday that celebrates Jesus and Christianity is a good start to once again letting Christ be a part of our country.

Thank you, Mr. President, for not being ashamed to proclaim these truths."

The Donald Trump visit to Salt Lake went off without a hitch, as planned.

I'm glad to see Presidents take an interest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Utahns don't get visited as much in election years because Utah seems to vote only one way, thus not a swing state.

In the future, The 45th President of the United States will have some trouble as shown in the Ezra's Eagle Prophecy.

Image

There will be a time when Trump will be no more. He will become a "short feather".

Check out the presentation that was done on January 6th 2017 that called the abuse that was to come upon Donald Trump, even before he was elected.

https://constitution.com/president-trum ... l-courage/

"It’s obviously an act of not only political bravery but moral courage to move the embassy.
But just to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital — the absurdity of the U.S. policy suggesting that Jerusalem is not Israel’s capital has resulted in idiocies like the fact that my niece, who was born in Jerusalem, it says on her passport Jerusalem and then it doesn’t say which country she’s from.
Jerusalem is only important to the world because of Judaism; it’s important to Christianity because it was first important to Judaism; it’s important to Islam because it was first important to Judaism. Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Jewish texts; Jerusalem is in the Israeli national anthem.
The culmination of Jewish history, really, was in 1967, with the recapture and the unification of Jerusalem under Judaic rule. The freedom of Jerusalem was only assured, by the way, because of that Jewish rule.
What President Trump is doing is not just a recognition of reality, it’s also an act of political usefulness, because all of the negotiations that have been happening for the past 20 years, for most of my lifetime, all of those negotiations have been preconditioned on stupidity, that Israel was going to give up its eternal capital, which is insane.
In order to understand how dumb that is, you have to think that for Israel, Jerusalem is about 1000 times more important than Washington, D.C. is to the United States.
The founders put Washington D.C. on a swamp because they just wanted it to be not part of any state.
The reason that Jerusalem is where it is, is because the Bible says where it is, so there’s a religious adherence to Jerusalem that doesn’t exist for normal capitals around the world.
And for President Trump to recognise that this isn’t going anywhere, that the freedom of Israel is inherently connected with the freedom of Jerusalem, and that any negotiations that are to take place are going to have to be done by the Israelis themselves, and the Israelis are going to have to make decisions about what to do about their capital — it’s a ground-shift and it’s a recognition of a reality that’s necessary in order for real peace to be achieved in the region."

SALT LAKE CITY — President Donald Trump met with key Church leaders Dec. 4 at Welfare Square where they discussed religious liberties and the mission of the Church’s global welfare program.
The U.S. president visited with President Henry B. Eyring of the First Presidency; President Russell M. Nelson, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles; Presiding Bishop Gérald Caussé; and Sister Jean B. Bingham, Relief Society general president.
During the closed, late-morning meeting, the Church leaders and President Trump, along with Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), discussed religious liberty and the Church’s welfare programs. The president praised the Church’s humanitarian efforts and also recognized President Nelson’s renown as a heart surgeon.
President Eyring told the president that the food and materials found and produced at Welfare Square will help care for those in need, according to a press release on Mormon Newsroom.
While visiting the bishop’s storehouse at Welfare Square, President Trump pushed a shopping cart down an aisle, placing produce and other goods into it. He invited volunteers at the Deseret Bakery to shake his hand and snap photos. . .

“Today was a startling reminder of why the ‘see something, say something’ campaign is so crucial to keeping our cities safe, and why we must always remain vigilant against the threat of terrorism,” said Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, who said he was 15 blocks from the site of the attack.

Akayed Ullah, inspired by Islamic State propaganda, was the chief victim of his attack, authorities said, with the pipe bomb he strapped to himself misfiring and leaving him with burns on his stomach. Several commuters suffered headaches from the blast.

But for the Trump administration, the attack was the latest evidence of potential terrorists using the world’s most generous immigration system to gain entry.
“The president’s policy calls for an end to chain migration, which is what this individual came to the United States through,” said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “And if his policy had been in place, then that attacker would not have been allowed to come in the country.”

She said Mr. Ullah was admitted on an F-4 visa, meaning he had family in the U.S. who were citizens.

Homeland Security Department spokesman Tyler Houlton said the citizen relative came to the U.S. under the visa lottery, which gives away 50,000 green cards, signaling legal immigration, by random chance every year.

Mr. Trump has called for ending the visa lottery and extended family immigration, as well as a broader set of reforms imposing stricter checks on business hiring, more deportation officers and his border wall. The president has called for those changes to be part of a year-end deal on legalizing illegal immigrant Dreamers.

Democrats have resisted, saying Dreamers’ fate shouldn’t be tied to any other issue. Many Democrats also have defended the current system, saying family-based migration should remain the focus and calling the diversity lottery a way to give would-be migrants from underrepresented countries a chance to enter the U.S.

Bangladesh has been disqualified from the lottery in recent years because the country had so many immigrants reaching the U.S. through other programs. But during the past two years its citizens were eligible, nearly 8,500 people from Bangladesh won the lottery.

Additionally, more than 10,000 people have come from Bangladesh based on family ties each year dating back to 2009. In 2016, the last year for which there are complete numbers, more than 18,000 people immigrated from Bangladesh based on family ties.

The man accused of the October rental truck attack in New York, which left eight people dead, was also a beneficiary of the visa lottery, coming from Uzbekistan in 2010.

“We have now seen two terrorist attacks in New York City in less than two months that were carried out by people who came here as the result of our failed immigration policies that do not serve the national interest,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday.

“The 20-year-old son of the sister of a U.S. citizen should not get priority to come to this country ahead of someone who is high-skilled, well-educated, has learned English, and is likely to assimilate and flourish here,” he said. “It is a failure of logic and sound policy not to adopt a merit-based immigration system.”

"WND’s Thank Trump Card Campaign continues to grow in popularity, with the Conservative Tribune publishing an article bringing its readers news of this innovative campaign designed to thank President Trump for all he has accomplished in his first year in office.

“The folks over at WND have started the ‘Trump Card’ campaign, which allows you to thank our 45th president for whatever it is you’re thankful for this year involving his presidency (or perhaps just life in general),” wrote author Cillian Zeal, later adding, “Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter to let everyone know how they can thank President Donald Trump.”
This Conservative Tribune story comes after Fox News Channel hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, both of whom are popular radio hosts as well, each tweeted the link to one of WND’s first stories announcing the campaign in November:

Express gratitude to president for 1st-year accomplishments https://t.co/iYx87dT8ns via @worldnetdaily

— Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) November 15, 2017

https://t.co/ktk1he5E0W

— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) November 15, 2017

Breitbart News also published a story at the time of the launch announcing the start of the Thank Trump campaign to their readers.
And recently, popular radio host Alex Jones threw his support behind the campaign during an interview with WND founder and CEO Joseph Farah on “The Alex Jones Show.”
“We’d better thank our lucky stars,” Jones said. “The Supreme Court we’ve got, what’s happened with the economy, all of it – they planned to sew it all up when Hillary got in – the censorship, the control.”
Jones added: “The answer is to get everybody doing what WND and Joseph Farah have done, and that’s what’s going to cause a hydrogen bomb explosion of thankfulness.”
Anyone can send President Trump a digital thank-you card by visiting ThankTrump.us. Simply select one of our 10 unique card designs, type a personalized message if desired, and click “Submit” to send your card electronically to the White House. That’s it – there’s no cost involved."

"On Thursday afternoon, President Donald Trump took a break from the politics of Washington, D.C., to do something he saw as more important — visit wounded warriors and wish them a merry Christmas.

During his unannounced visit, Trump personally awarded one soldier — 1st Lt. Victor Prato of the 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion — the Purple Heart. Prato, 25, suffered soft tissue injuries last month as a result of IED blast that made his vehicle turn over, according to The Hill.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was particularly moved when the president presented Prato with the award, noting on Twitter that seeing the president confer this honor on an “American Hero” was “One of the most powerful moments of my life.”
“Amazed by the strength and resilience of the men and women in our Armed Forces,” Sanders wrote.

Trump’s unannounced visit came without any fanfare.
“I’m heading over right now to Walter Reed Military Medical Center to say hello to some of the bravest people anywhere in the world,” the president told reporters prior to boarding Marine One.
“We’re just going to wish them a merry Christmas, a happy new year and we love those people,” he concluded, before walking toward the helicopter.
White House of Staff John Kelly, a retired Marine general, accompanied Trump to Walter Reed, according to The Hill.
News outlets were able to record some of Trump’s interactions with veterans at the hospital, but without any sound, making it difficult to hear what the president was saying.

It’s not the first time Trump has quietly — without any fanfare — honoured the sacrifices made by those who serve in the United States armed forces.
In February, the president and his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, departed the White House on Marine One. Reporters had no idea where they were going until the White House put out a news release explaining where they had gone and why.
The Trumps had traveled to Dover Air Force “for arrival of remains of a US commando” killed in Yemen during a raid on al-Quaida, according to the Independent Journal Review.
“The death,” the White House noted at the time, “occurred during the first counter-terrorism operation of the Trump presidency.”

"“Merry Christmas” from President Trump

by James Buchanan
One year ago, we still had Barack Obama in the White House. No one ever expected him to say “Merry Christmas.” Only the politically correct “Happy Holidays” would ever come out of his mouth if he even bothered to make a statement on Christmas day. His big holiday was Ramadan, which he would spend with his fellow Muslims.

Image

There’s been an escalating war on White people, on our culture and on Christianity, going on for over 20 years. Every once in a while, the enemy would ratchet up the war and something that was perfectly acceptable the previous year was now the height of political incorrectness.
Now the tables have finally been turned on everyone, who hates White culture. Americans can say “Merry Christmas” to each other once again, and if any liberal snowflakes want to run off crying to H.R., don’t expect a safe space because the President is standing up to political correctness, and he just told us that the religion of the majority doesn’t have to go into hiding because of mentally unhinged Social Justice Warriors and cultural Marxists.

A Daily Telegraph article reports “President Donald Trump… promised a return to traditional American values, including restoring “Merry Christmas” to the national discourse.”

“Mr Trump, the first sitting president to address the Values Voter Summit, ticked off the promises he’s fulfilled to evangelical Christians and other conservatives, pledging to turn back the clock in what he described as a nation that has drifted away from its religious roots.”
“‘How times have changed, but you know what, now they are changing back again, just remember that,’ he told the cheering crowd.”

This is a great time for America, and it’s a great opportunity to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” especially the easily triggered liberals, who can’t admit that they lost last year’s election."

"Vice President Mike Pence visited the U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan to share a special Christmas message.
“And for all of you who, like my family, in the coming days will look to a manger, and who will once again in your hearts claim the promise announced on a holy night — of peace on Earth and good will toward men — let me say, from the First Family and my family, from families all across America: Merry Christmas,” he said in his speech to U.S. service members. Pence also passed on Trump’s best wishes to the troops in his speech. During Pence’s trip, President Donald Trump was visiting wounded warriors at Walter Reed Medical Centre with his own Christmas message. “We’re just going to wish them a merry Christmas, a happy new year and we love those people,” Trump said before boarding Marine One. The Vice President had one last message to the troops in Afghanistan in honour and memory of fallen soldiers and to “let their families know that we will never forget their service or sacrifice in Afghanistan.”He quoted the Bible and said, “No greater love is a man than this, that he should lay down his life for his friends.”“And to all of you, may God bless you. May God bless all who wear the uniform of the United States here in Afghanistan and across the wider world,” Pence concluded. “May God bless the good people of Afghanistan and may God continue to bless the United States of America.”
