"A U.S. Islamic advocacy group suspected of conspiring with Hamas celebrated a federal court’s Thursday ruling against President Donald Trump’s latest travel sanctions.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which the FBI labeled as an “unindicted co-conspirator” with the terrorist group Hamas in 2009, released a statement Thursday celebrating the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling against the latest edition of Trump’s travel sanctions, which CAIR called “Trump’s ‘Muslim ban 3.0.’” CAIR continued its claim that the travel restrictions are part of a white supremacist agenda that specifically targets Muslims, despite the fact that the restriction is not actually a permanent ban and does not include include the two countries that hold one-quarter of the world’s Muslim population."

"Despite a hectic Holy Week within the White House, staff shakeups and scandals gave way to a faith-focused message from President Donald Trump on Friday morning.
Honoring the Jewish tradition of Passover, which began that day, and the Christian celebration of Easter to follow, Trump delivered prepared remarks posted to the White House’s Facebook page.
“My fellow Americans, at this holy time of the year, families across our nation gather in homes, churches and synagogues to light candles and to praise God,” he said.
He began by describing the “sacred holiday of Passover,” celebrated by Jewish members of his family including daughter and son-in-law Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
Trump said the holiday is celebrated by families around the world who “give thanks to God for liberating the Jewish people from bondage in Egypt and delivering them to the promised land of Israel.”
Shifting to the season’s Christian holiday, the president emphasized the importance of Easter.“For Christians, we remember the suffering and death of God’s only son and his glorious resurrection on the third day,” Trump said. “On Easter Sunday, we proclaim with joy ‘Christ is risen.'”
The two holidays serve to “remind us that God’s love redeems the world,” Trump said.
He added that this sentiment is expressed in the earliest scriptures of the Judeo-Christian tradition.
“Almost 3,000 years ago, the prophet Isaiah wrote, ‘Darkness covers the earth, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. For the Lord will be your everlasting light,'” Trump said."

Trump's selection of John Bolton as his National Security Advisor is extremely disappointing. Bolton was a director for the neocon white paper: Project for a New American Century, which calls for world-wide ‘American’ (read globalist) dominance, and said they would be greatly aided in their project if we were to have a "new Pearl Harbor". This was said just 1-2 years before 9/11.
It appears as if Bolton is already having an effect, witnessed by Trump's name calling of Assad of Syria and his threats to attack Syria over the alleged gas attacks. If he does attack Syria, this will move me way down on my willingness to believe Trump is who he claims to be.
Here is a video covering this situation. It also contains an intereview of Assad. Actually listen to what Assad says about past accusations that they have used gas attacked their own civilians. Ask yourself, does Assad come across as lying or being "an animal". I don't think so.

In an ironic twist, according to Syrian forces the last group of militants has left their last stronghold - the city of Douma in the Damascus suburbs - less than 24 hours after Western coalition members the US, the UK, and France fired over 100 missiles at targets inside of Syria in a response to an alleged chemical attack in the city.
And, according to state media, the Syrian army command has announced that Eastern Ghouta is now free of militants, the AP reports. According to the SANA news agency, the Syrian army is determined to eradicate terrorism in Syria, regardless of what power backs the terrorism, in order to restore security and stability in the country.
"All the terrorists have left Douma city, their last bastion in eastern Ghouta," the army statement said.
At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry said that 21,000 people, including militants and their family members, have been evacuated from Eastern Ghouta.
Maj. Gen. Yuri Yevtushenko, head of Russia's Reconciliation Centre for Syria, said that 3,976 militants left Douma by bus on Friday. He added that at least 67,680 have left the embattled Damascus suburb."
