'Monsanto – ‘the most hated company in America’ – is not having a good week. A trove of internal corporate documents has now become public, and the contents – which reveal the agrichemical giant’s attempts to cover up the toxicity of Roundup – are nothing short of explosive.
The documents clearly show the outrageous extent of Monsanto’s deceptive practices – and its shameful collusion with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a federal regulatory agency entrusted with protecting the health of the American public. Keep reading to discover some revelatory “bombshells” that should have Monsanto bigwigs shaking in their boots – and that leave the EPA with some explaining to do.
Secret documents allow “a look behind the curtain,” exposing bribery, subornation of perjury, collusion and more
The 700 pages of secret communications, which include e-mails, correspondence, reports and texts, were obtained through court-ordered discovery by the law firm Baum, Hedlund, Aristei and Goldman. The company is suing Monsanto on behalf of over 800 people who allege that exposure to Monsanto’s glyphosate-based herbicide Roundup caused them or family members to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of blood cancer.
The newly-released documents reveal a longstanding pattern of corporate malfeasance and offenses, providing ample evidence that Monsanto deliberately stopped, suppressed and concealed studies that suggested the carcinogenic nature of glyphosate – as well as establishing cozy relationships with EPA officials and putting EPA personnel on the company payroll as “expert consultants.”
Revealing one “bombshell” after another, the explosive documents clearly show thatMonsanto executives engaged in a host of reprehensible acts.
The offenses include bribery, suborning perjury from regulators and scientists, ghostwriting scientific publications, suppressing information, imploring editors of scientific journals to retract studies and paying for peer review – all in an attempt to conceal information about Roundup’s toxic and cancer-causing properties, and the risk to human health and the environment.
“Monsanto’s claims about glyphosate safety were a myth” – attorney for the plaintiffs
According to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a lawyer for one of the plaintiffs, Monsanto created a “myth” of glyphosate safety, helped along by “amoral propaganda and lobbying teams.”
An email chain shows that Monsanto personnel were involved in scientific publications without disclosing the inherent conflicts of interest. A top Monsanto executive, Dr. William Heydens, played a significant role in drafting and editing a manuscript in opposition to the International Agency for Research on Cancer’s classification of glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen.
The material was presented as being written by “expert consultants.” However, Heydens efforts mean that he was “ghostwriting” material – while not revealing his role.
Tellingly, one email reveals that at least one Monsanto consultant, Dr. John Acquavella, refused outright to participate in the sham – and explained his reasoning. “I can’t be a part of deceptive authorship on a presentation or publication – we call that ghostwriting, and it is unethical,”Acquavella noted.
It appears that other scientists, however, participated in the process, with one document showing that Dr. David Saltmiras listed “ghost writing a cancer review paper” as a service he provided for Monsanto.
Scientific journals are being pressured for retractions
One of the most disturbing revelations concerns an email chain involving Monsanto officials, which attests to their successful efforts to have a landmark study retracted. The research, conducted by Professor G.E. Seralini, showed that glyphosate causes cancer in rats. The article was ultimately retracted by the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology, in which it was originally published.
Correspondence between Monsanto officials makes it clear that they plotted extensively to urge fellow scientists to engage in a letter-writing campaign to have the article retracted – all without appearing to be directly involved. (FYI: The editor of the journal, Wallace Hayes, was on Monsanto’s payroll as a consultant. Can you say: “conflict of interest?”)
Other documents show that Monsanto routinely attacked or tried to suppress scientific studies that showed glyphosate’s carcinogenic qualities.
Executives brainstormed about methods of combating a study publicized by the environmental group Beyond Pesticides – which showed an association between glyphosate and non-Hodgkin lymphoma – and schemed to discredit and defund the IARC after the agency reported that glyphosate was a probable carcinogen.
Monsanto scientist acknowledges outright – “We have not done the necessary testing”
In what is probably the most significant series of internal emails, a top scientist at Monsanto admits to insufficient testing of Roundup.
In one email, Monsanto lead toxicologist Donna Farmer insists that the company “…can not say Roundup is not a carcinogen.” The reason? “We have not done the necessary testing… to make that statement.” The formulations studied, Farmer added, were “not anywhere near the level of the active ingredient.”
Other emails make it clear that Monsanto experts have long been aware of the following: that glyphosate produces genotoxicity and oxidative stress, that surfactants in the Roundup formulation play a role in tumor formation, that glyphosate releases dangerous formaldehyde and N-nitroso compounds, and that use of glyphosate had resulted in acute toxicity and death of test animals.
It is also clear that Monsanto scientists were reluctant to conduct studies on glyphosate, or Roundup, because they, themselves, believed the results would reveal a cancer risk. And: they had fully expected that lawsuits would surface. (Why would this be the case, if Roundup is as harmless as they publicly claimed?)
Other documents and text messages reveal that Monsanto collaborated with the EPA to delay or circumvent glyphosate review.
Emails show that Monsanto executives had an intimate and collusive relationship with Jess Rowland, formerly of the EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs – a relationship that appears to have facilitated an EPA finding that glyphosate is not a carcinogen.
Baum, Hedlund has sent copies of the material to the EPA’s Office of Inspector General Arthur Elkins, Jr., currently investigating whether illegal collusion took place between the EPA and Monsanto.
The law firm has also sent the material to the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (recently sued by Monsanto for designating glyphosate as a known carcinogen.) The implications of the documents are now reverberating throughout Europe, where regulators are trying to decide whether or not to reauthorize glyphosate.
Meanwhile, the lawsuit continues to make its way through the US District Court for the Northern District of California, while Monsanto – of course – continues to publicly maintain that it is not “biologically plausible” for Roundup or glyphosate to cause cancer.
Likening the secret Monsanto papers to the documents that brought down the tobacco industry, Kennedy sums it all up: “Monsanto has been spinning its lethal yarn…and suborning perjury from regulators and scientists who have all been lying to farmers, landscapers and consumers.”

"ASYLUM seekers are using a medical scam to live rent-free in five-bedroom homes across Sydney, where they are getting a better deal than pensioners and have been caught spending taxpayers’ hard-earned cash on prostitutes.

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton declared “the con is up” for illegal boat people from Manus and Nauru using “tricky legal moves” to stay in Australia after medical treatment and costing us $40 million a year to house, feed and pay them a salary.

Up to 70 illegal boat people will today be told their free and easy lifestyles will no longer be covered by the Australian taxpayer while seeking medical treatment, with their salary cut off immediately and their free housing ending in the next three weeks.

“They were brought to Australia on the premise that once their medical needs were met they would return to Nauru or Manus,” Mr Dutton told The Daily Telegraph.

“The medical care has been provided and through tricky legal moves they are now prevented from being returned to their country of origin, Manus or Nauru. In some cases, this con has been going on for years, costing the Australian taxpayer tens of thousands of dollars for each individual and seeing them receive more welfare, including housing, than pensioners who have worked here all their lives.”

The Daily Telegraph can reveal some of the enviable properties the asylum seekers are staying in rent-free after taking out an injunction to stop the government from sending them back to Manus or Nauru once they have completed medical treatment.

One five-bedroom home in Castle Hill, with a large garden, is valued at $1.5 million, while another in Parramatta has three bedrooms, two lockup garages, a garden and comes complete with glossy wooden floors.

“The game is up for these people who want to take us for a ride,” Mr Dutton said.

An average Australian pensioner, who has worked and paid taxes all their life, receives a maximum rate of just over $800 a fortnight, but needs to pay their housing, power bills and healthcare costs.

By contrast, the freeloaders targeted by Mr Dutton receive a household goods package of $2350, income support of $300 a fortnight, moving costs of $300 and free housing, power bills and healthcare. They are also entitled to an energy payment of $1000.

Each asylum seeker is costing taxpayers up to $120,000 a year and, in total, their subsidised lifestyle is costing hardworking Aussies $40 million a year. And their free lifestyle comes despite the fact they were able to afford to pay people smugglers $10,000 each to be brought to Australia."

"The rapid emergence of glyphosate-resistant superweeds has led to the development and use of even more toxic herbicides, including dicamba, which has been clearly linked to non-Hodgkins lymphoma
Dicamba is an extremely potent and volatile toxin that is banned during growing season. Monsanto’s new weed killer, XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology, designed for use with dicamba-resistant seeds, is supposed to be less prone to vaporization and drift
Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee are now investigating thousands of dicamba damage reports; an estimated 3.1 million acres have been damaged by dicamba drift this season"

"The International Olympic Committee has announced that the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea will not have any sex or gender standards for athletes. That means that athletes can compete in any gender category they wish — which includes stronger and faster biological men taking on women for Olympic medals.Performance-enhancing testosterone being allowed in the name of “equality” tilts the competition in one direction, even more women now left behind by men who choose to identify as the opposite gender in order to win medals."

"The systems of the body all require oxygen and energy, but the main furnace that burns this fuel is the muscles of the body. When we are physically inactive, energy-giving calories are stored for future use as fat tissue, and the other systems of the body now have to carry this burden and nourish and feed these millions of extra cells. When the General Authorities advise that we store, for future use, one year’s supply of food, it is not intended that we carry the accumulation with us wherever we go.” https://www.lds.org/ensign/1972/09/keep ... t?lang=eng

"Planned Parenthood is known for their blatant disregard for life and their sick determination to provide as many abortions as possible, no questions asked. Hiding behind the false premise of providing “healthcare” for women across the country, Planned Parenthood continues to slaughter millions of unborn babies. In addition, they provide cover for sexual predators, who often force their victims to get abortions against their will in order to cover the trail of sexual abuse. Even more shocking, it seems no age is too young for Planned Parenthood. When a 12-year old girl and her stepfather came into Planned Parenthood seeking an abortion, one would think Planned Parenthood would have been suspicious. After all, a 12-year old girl is pregnant and asking for an abortion. That alone should raise a major red flag. However, according to Planned Parenthood, a 12-year old girl should have the ability to decide if she wants an abortion—despite the fact that many 12-year old girls who come seeking abortions have been raped or sexually assaulted by an older male. But Planned Parenthood turned a blind eye and referred her to a hospital for an abortion. They accepted the 12-year olds story, who claimed she became pregnant by her boyfriend through consensual sex. But then the truth came out regarding the real reason behind the girl’s pregnancy.

LifeSite News reports:

“Two years later — and after another abortion in another province — the child told “authorities in another province that she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by her stepfather over a period of 26 months.”

The stepfather “pled guilty to this and to other offences on other individuals, including sexual assault. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison.”

All this is documented in a damning report released Wednesday by Jacqueline Lake Kavanagh, child and youth advocate for Newfoundland and Labrador.

Lake Kavanagh blasts the “system” for repeatedly failing to protect the child from her stepfather’s sexual predation.

The “inadequate screening and assessments” the girl received “potentially enabled the sexual abuse of the child to continue,” she wrote.

“Had appropriate measures been taken when this child presented to terminate her pregnancy, or when child protection concerns were reported, the abuse may potentially have been detected and stopped.”

Moreover, the girl’s age should have been an instant red flag, Lake Kavanagh pointed out.

“[A] child who presents at a community agency or Regional Health Authority to terminate a pregnancy should not be treated as an adult.”

Planned Parenthood staff didn’t question the stepfather’s claim he was the girl’s biological father, she wrote. The mother “resided out of province and was not involved.”

Planned Parenthood had the chance to protect this young girl, but they were more concerned with promoting abortions. Instead of standing up for this young woman, Planned Parenthood sided with a sexual predator. And because of their negligence, this young child had to endure sexual assault for an additional 24 months. Planned Parenthood could have stopped the abuse, and locked up the sexual predator. They didn’t even verify her stepfather’s claims to be her biological father. Simply because they didn’t care.

LifeSite News continues:

“About a month later, the province’s Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development (CSSD) got involved because of “multiple protection referrals” on the family, including allegations the stepfather was physically abusing the 12-year-old and one of her siblings, according to Lake Kavanagh’s report.

After a few CSSD interviews, the stepfather and grandmother became uncooperative and claimed harassment. The family moved out of Newfoundland about four months later.

“There were many opportunities to intervene with this little girl and her siblings, but they were missed,” noted Lake Kavanagh. “Based on the experiences and lessons from this case, a collective effort is required to do better for and by these children.”

The Planned Parenthood doctor “should have at least questioned the age of the teenaged boyfriend and ensured the stepfather’s guardianship status was verified,” she wrote.

“In an interview, the physician said she could not recall anything unusual about the child or her stepfather, and that it was common to encounter sexually active children in her work, though uncommon to encounter pregnant children.”

This little 12-year old girl was forced to endure sexual abuse, for 26 months, until it was finally stopped.
All because Planned Parenthood is more determined to promote abortion than protect the very women they claim to support."

http://constitution.com/german-pows-saved-town/

Adrian Vance:

"The images coming out of Houston, Texas remind me of the greatest flood of my life in Jeffersonville, Indiana in the spring of 1944.

A group of captured German submariners were held in a small, special POW camp just outside of town. It had been jury-rigged at a US Navy supply depot as we had captured the U505 which had an Enigma code machine in it and our people were anxious the Nazis not know we had it.

By moving these men 800 miles inland we were in violation of the Geneva Accords as they stipulated such men were not to be kept more than 100 kilometers, 62 miles, from where they were captured.

The camp was amazingly casual and while they were behind barbed wire it was obvious to us they could make an escape if they were really serious about it. Groups of us kids would walk out there on Saturdays to look at them and talk with them at the fence. They looked like high school boys to us, save the Commander who had a beard. All were learning English. Of course our parents did not approve of this so our seeing these guys and talking to them was a big hush-hush secret at the Chestnut Street Elementary School. The stuff we could think of to do was amazing. We kept our mothers busy.

When the flood came our levies were thought to be inadequate as the predicted level was about a foot higher so workmen began putting ranks of “sandbags,” which were potato gunny sacks full of dirt. The work was going slowly and we were in fear the town would be flooded and panic set in.

The Commander of the 50 captured submariners offered his crew to do the work and it took about one hour for our city officials to accept. He assured us the men would make no escape attempt as they were glad to be out of the war and several were planning to stay here, if they could, when the fighting was done. Our people did not bother to query Washington because the answer would surely be “No!”

Those guys worked like nothing we had ever seen and it went on for a week or ten days! They were eating and sleeping in nearby homes and our people showed them every courtesy they could, including sharing their SPAM with them. Apologies were in order, but they politely ate the stuff, along with the rest of us. To think Charles Hormel got a special award medal for that stuff from FDR gave me my first big doubt about the veracity and motivation of politicians.

Meanwhile, back at the flood, it was clear these men saved the town as the water level rose to the top of the bags precisely. Not one of the young men attempted to leave and after it was all over several of the men got weekend passes to visit and stay overnight with friends they had made saving our town."

“Kudos to both the National Guard and the Redneck Army, and all the other down-home volunteers who went to the rescue of fellow Americans.
I saw a post from a whiny liberal snowflake from New York who said she’d have jumped on one of the rescue boats just to tear off the Confederate flag and throw it in the floodwaters. My guess is she would have wilted, cried and elbowed others out of the way to be rescued.
It amazed me that these idiots can’t see through to what matters when the chips are down. The strong, silent, family guys and gals are the ones who keep themselves to themselves and respond only when needed – with the best of intentions and a gladness of heart. May God Bless them and their jacked up trucks!"

"All over the world Christians are being persecuted by communist governments, Muslim zealots, tyrannical despots.
Chinese security officers went on the attack and beat several priests and congregants last week in China’s northern Shanxi province as the group of Christians did their best to protect their church’s property.

From Breitbart:
Government officials beat Fathers Chen Jun, Gao Binglong, Ma Ning, and Shen Xuezhong as well as several laypersons including Cui Hewen, who was assaulted by workers and suffered injuries to the head. The officials had come to demolish a building belonging to the church, but the priests along with hundreds of laypeople sat in front of backhoes and other heavy machinery to block the demolition work.

Witnessed posted a video of the clash between government representatives and the Christians and the faithful can be heard shouting “Jesus save me!” and “Mother Mary, have pity on us.”

As Breitbart News reported last month, the U.S. State Department has declared that the Chinese Communist government “physically abused, detained, arrested, tortured, sentenced to prison, or harassed adherents of both registered and unregistered religious groups” during 2016, in its new International Religious Freedom Report (IRFP).

The abuse of people of faith in their religious practice included members of unregistered Christian churches (also known as “house churches”), the report added."

"The latest North Korean blast was, by one estimate, up to 10 times bigger than the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima.

Worse, this weapon may have been not only an atomic fission device but also a hydrogen-fusion explosive, an H-bomb small enough to be carried by an intercontinental ballistic missile.

And even more chilling, such a compact bomb could be delivered not only by missile but also by terrorists via a World War I biplane barely visible to modern radars, or in a fishing boat, or in a Volkswagen van to Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, or Washington, D.C. Imagine the September 11, 2001 attack on New York City with a nuclear weapon.

We have centralized our power and population in large cities and systems, like the banks that hold our bank accounts merely as electronic blips in giant computers. A nuclear blast would emit an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that could fry our computer chips, blind military offensive and defensive systems, erase our banking records and economy, and return us to being a near-Stone Age country in a heartbeat.

We have seen where available terrorists can be found, eager to destroy the United States. Many have been radicalized, surrendering their individuality to group identities demanded by the sects of fanatic racial and ideological movements.

One such urban terrorist was arrested last March, wearing the black costume and mask of the radical leftist Antifa movement. After his group disrupted a Trump rally in Minneapolis by setting off smoke bombs and fireworks in the state capitol, the 24-year-old was confronted by police officers and adopted a fighting stance against one – stopped only by a spray of tear gas. He was taken into custody on suspicion of felony second-degree riot.

The young leftist was quickly freed without charges, however, because Linwood “Woody” Michael Kaine is the son of Virginia Senator and Hillary Clinton 2016 running mate Tim Kaine.

This apple did not fall far from the tree. When he was 22, Tim Kaine served with Jesuits in Honduras and was entranced by a radical leftist Liberation Theology priest who described himself as a “good Marxist” and served Cuban revolutionaries trying to overthrow the government of Honduras. Tim Kaine would later be almost a heartbeat away from being President.

North Korea’s technological threat of possessing an EMP weapon is clear, as Craig R. Smith and I show in our books Don’t Bank On It! and The Great Debasement. But even more frightening, as we explore in Money, Morality & The Machine, is that our welfare state and deficit spending have destroyed honest money, self-reliance, and the values, morality and patriotism of millions of our government-addicted fellow Americans.

What does it say about our country that the presidential nominee of one of our two major parties pocketed $145 Million from Moscow in exchange for 20 percent of America’s uranium? Or that her running mate’s son appears to have sold his soul to a group that in Berkeley weeks ago was chanting “No Trump, No Wall, No USA at All!” as its hate screed calling for the annihilation of the United States?

Senator Kaine issued a statement saying only that: “We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues. They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.” So why does Kaine’s increasingly radical party keep escalating the divide-and-conquer politics of race and class warfare and hatred, and why do left-of-center politicians say nothing when Antifa attacks disabled elderly veterans in wheel chairs and chills the free speech of others?"

"A MAGNITUDE 8 earthquake off the coast of Mexico has sparked tsunami fears for much of Central America. The monster earthquake was recorded off the coast of Chiapas, southern Mexico, at a depth of 33km about 3pm AEST. It was followed 30 minutes later by a magnitude 6 aftershock.
The shockwaves were felt in Mexico City, with buildings having lost power and people running into the darkened streets in their nighwear shortly before midnight local time. Early reports suggest the city was shaken for as long as four minutes.Mexico City is over 1000km from the epicentre.
Automated damage estimate systems from the The US Geological Survey (USGS) place the chance of fatalities from the shaking - not tsunami waves - in the coastal regions closest to the epicentre as being high. Projections based on population figures anticipate between 1000 and 10000 deaths. Economic losses from infrastructure damage is likely to be in the billions, it reports.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says tsunami waves have been detected, but their full size and scale is yet to be determined. Tsunami waves reaching 0.7 meters above the tide level were recorded by automated sea level gauges near the resort of Huatulco in Oaxaca state.
The centre warns hazardous waves are possible, reaching as high as 3m above the tide level. Waves as high as 1m are possible for Cook Island, Ecuador, French Polynesia, Guatemala and Kiribati. Tsunami alerts have been issued for the west coast of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras and Ecuador. The first tsunami waves - if they have been generated - would strike Santa Cruz. Mexico’s National Seismological Service put the preliminary magnitude of the earthquake at 8.4, up from an initial estimate of 8.0. The USGS estimates 47 million people may have felt the quake, with one million experiencing ‘very strong’ shaking.
“The house moved like chewing gum and the light and internet went out momentarily,” said Rodrigo Soberanes, who lives near San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas, a poor largely indigenous state popular with tourists. Civil Defense in Chiapas said on its Twitter account that its personnel were in the streets aiding people and warned residents to prepare for aftershocks. But it made no immediate comment about damage.
Geological surveying services report the quake’s shockwaves have been felt up to 1000km away.
Mexico sits on the so-called ‘Pacific Ring of Fire’, an arc of fault lines circling the Pacific Basin which is prone to frequent and large earthquakes.
The last time a quake of this scale struck Mexico was in 1985.
In neighboring Guatemala, President Jimmy Morales spoke on national television to call for calm while emergency crews checked for damage. Local radio in the Central American country reported one death, but it could not be confirmed. “We have reports of some damage and the death of one person, even though we still don’t have exact details,” Morales said. He said the possible death occurred in San Marcos state near the border with Mexico.
The UGSC said the earthquake had a magnitude of 8.0 and its epicenter was 165 kilometers west of Tapachula in southern Chiapas state. It had a depth of 35 kilometers.
Even in distant Mexico City the quake was felt so strongly that frightened residents gathered in the streets in the dark, fearing buildings would collapse."

"The first requirement for a feminist is to be shameless about abortion. In the wake of the 2015 videos exposing the horrific Planned Parenthood racket around dead baby parts, a gaggle of feminists created a social media campaign called #ShoutYourAbortion with the aim of dispelling all “sadness, shame, or regret” about abortions. One should shout about it with pride and even joke about it.

The campaign manufactures T-shirts emblazoned with the Orwellian phrases “Abortion is freedom” and “Everyone knows I had an abortion.”

Radical-feminist actress Martha Plimpton interviewed abortion provider Dr. Willie Parker for a #ShoutYourAbortion event in Seattle. She began by joking that she had her “best” abortion in the city. Being there was special because, as she noted: “I also had my first abortion here at the Seattle Planned Parenthood! Yay!” This resulted in sustained applause and cheers.

But the comedy kept coming. Plimpton said: “Notice I said ‘first’ … and I don’t want Seattle — I don’t want you guys to feel insecure. It was my best one. Heads and tails above the rest. If I could Yelp review it, I totally would.” The feminists are so ethically obtuse they want to compare their abortion experiences to reviews of a Chinese restaurant.

The idea is to remove the stigma of an unborn baby being killed and removed from the womb, and render the act as the moral equivalent of cutting your fingernails or getting an appendectomy. “Abortion is not some crazy weird last resort,” Plimpton told an ABC reporter on “Nightline” in 2015. “It is a normal part of women’s medical lives.”

And people who disagree? “These are not the brightest bulbs that we’re dealing with here,” she said. Those dummies think the baby has a life or rights of some kind. Removing the stigma clearly requires denying the unborn baby has any humanity. So during the Seattle event, Plimpton and Dr. Parker dismantled the Hippocratic oath. Parker implied that “first, do no harm” should be translated as “don’t judge a woman seeking an abortion,” because somehow an abortion does no harm to anyone.

Parker energetically denied science in this War on Stigma. He joked, “If you really believe that abortion is murder, call 911 and see if the police will come to an abortion clinic.”

Then the science denial really boiled over. “I’ve never killed a baby,” he claimed. “I’ve ended pregnancies, but I’ve never killed a baby.” This is as logical as arguing, “I’ve had a hamburger, but I’ve never eaten meat.”

Plimpton lamented the religious “prejudice” of Christians, our alleged belief that “women are fundamentally incapable of understanding what they’re doing.” Then, Parker had the audacity to suggest that the pro-life people — he calls them the “antis” — need to take their “personal” religion and keep it in a “private space,” but when it comes to community issues like his abortion business, “we have to rely on things that are more objective like science and evidence.” (That was greeted by big applause.)

By the way, the #ShoutYourAbortion collective also sells Dr. Willie Parker T-shirts, and the order form gushes: “Dr. Willie Parker is our hero. Like, start crying a little bit every time you think about him kind of hero.”

Feminists have placed abortion providers on the highest pedestal of their secular sainthood, for they have not only “liberated” women from the burdens of their inconvenient reproductive truths but also concocted an elaborate, if scientifically ridiculous, philosophy that denies they’ve destroyed anything human and absolves them of any guilt for their deadly sins."

http://sonsoflibertymedia.com/alleged-n ... -numbered/

"CNN allegedly found a North Korean defector through University researchers working in conjunction with the South Korean government.
The news outlet interviewed the alleged defector, who claims Kim Jong-Un’s days as “supreme leader” are numbered.
CNN says that the defector had worked among the elites in Pyongyang.
In order to protect the man’s anonymity, the descriptions and his name were omitted from the interview.
He is said to fear being hunted down by North Korea and his family harmed should his identity be known.
He is by far, however, the most recent defector CNN has ever interviewed; he’s only been free from North Korea for one year.
But, he had a few predictions about the North’s borderline psychopathic dictator…
In 2011, Kim Jong Un’s father, Kim Jong Il, died. Kim Jong Un took over and “tried his best,” says the defector.
He gave gifts, and in a public appearance, allowed his voice to be broadcast on North Korean state run television.
The perception among the people was that life was about to improve inside North Korea.
“It was a false image,” he says.
In December 2013, the regime announced the second most powerful man in North Korea, Jang Song Thaek, was being expelled from the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea.
Jang was accused of a litany of crimes, from obstructing the nation’s economic affairs to anti-party acts.
The allegations stunned for several reasons, primarily for who the regime fingered — Jang is Kim’s uncle.
“Kim Jong Un revealed his true side,” says the defector.
Jang’s arrest was broadcast on state television, followed by a statement calling him “despicable human scum, worse than a dog.”
State media then announced he was executed.
The defector that CNN interviewed expressed confidence in his opinion that the elites’ loyalty to Kim Jong-Un has deteriorated and will continue to do so.
He says that conviction is how he was able to leave his family behind because he believes he will reunite with them one day.
“I can tell you for sure, the North Korean regime will collapse within 10 years,” he says without hesitation. “Kim Jong Un is mistaken that he can control his people and maintain his regime by executing his enemies. There’s fear among high officials that at any time, they can be targets. The general public will continue to lose their trust in him as a leader by witnessing him being willing to kill his own uncle.”
Yet Kim Jong-Un has all the power in North Korea. Meaning those who lose trust in the “supreme leader” may face their ultimate and untimely demise.
It’s no secret why this defector is keeping his identity well hidden."

"IRAN may have been secretly helping North Korea rapidly advance its nuclear weapons program, it has emerged.
The UK Foreign Office is investigating whether the secretive state has received help in developing this technology.
UK media site The Telegraph reported the British Government is looking at whether “current and former nuclear states” have been assisting Pyongyang in its nuclear ambitions. Iran is at the top of the suspects list.
North Korea claimed it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb ready to be mounted on an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on September 3.
This has led many to speculate North Korea has had help from at least one other country.
A Whitehall source told The Telegraph there is no way North Korean scientists could have got to this point by themselves.
“North Korean scientists are people of some ability, but clearly they’re not doing it entirely in a vacuum,” a government minister said.
International Security expert and Intelligence Studies and director of ANU’s Southeast Asia Institute Professor John Blaxland told news.com.au it was possible Iran has been helping Pyongyang.
“There have been stories circulating of Iranian technical support over a number of years and while this story is not easy to corroborate, it is certainly plausible,” he said.
Nuclear disarmament campaigner John Hallam said there were a few countries, including Iran, which could be among those helping North Korea.
“There has been collaboration over missile technology, but not to my knowledge over weapons design, for decades,” he said.
“Much of Iran’s missile technology has been, or once was, North Korean.”
Mr Hallam said he believed the collaboration between North Korea and Pakistan deserved more attention.
“Iran wouldn’t have much to offer the DPRK in terms of weapons design, but Pakistan would have had a great deal to offer, at least in terms of miniaturised uranium warheads, which form the mainstay of Pakistan’s nuclear forces,” he said.
Mr Hallam also said if Iran really wanted to obtain nuclear weapons it would have managed to do so 15-20 years ago.
“So Iran would certainly have nothing to offer the DPRK in terms of hydrogen bomb technology,” he said.
“They might have had something to offer in terms of enrichment over the years and they might have been helpful in jointly developing missile technology.”
Mr Hallam said it was also possible that Russia could be helping the DPRK.
“They certainly have arguably the world’s best or second best nuclear weapons and missile technology, and they may have been somewhat helpful, but I really doubt that Russia will have slipped them a third generation thermonuclear warhead design,” he said.
“Of course they may have somehow obtained such a design, but they could have done so from any country that had such designs — including the US itself.”
In an interview with news.com.au last week, Australian National University researcher and North Korean expert Leonid Petrov said it was clear North Korea’s scientists were getting help from somewhere.
Dr Petrov said other countries likely to have assisted include Pakistan, Russia and even Ukraine.
News that Iran may be fuelling North Korea’s nuclear ambitions comes as Israel’s minister for intelligence and strategic affairs Yisrael Katz warned Terhan’s own nuclear ambitions must be stopped.
Mr Katz said failed attempts to negotiate with Pyongyang should serve as a lesson in dealing with Iran.
“Iran is the new North Korea,” he said.
“We need to act now so we won’t be sorry tomorrow about what we didn’t do yesterday.”
PYONGYANG PUNISHED
Meanwhile North Korea is set to pay the price for its sixth and most powerful nuclear test.
The United Nations Security Council unanimously stepped up sanctions against Pyongyang, imposing a ban on the country’s textile exports and capping imports of crude oil.
It was the ninth sanctions resolution unanimously adopted by the 15-member council since 2006 over North Korea’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
The US watered down an initial tougher draft resolution to win the support of Pyongyang’s main two allies, China and Russia.
Pyongyang warned it will make the United States pay a heavy price if the tough sanctions went ahead.
The North’s Foreign Ministry said it was watching the US closely and threatened it was “ready and willing” to respond with measures of its own.
Last Tuesday, Washington circulated a draft resolution proposing the toughest UN sanctions on North Korea, including a ban on all oil and natural gas exports to the country and a freeze on all foreign financial assets of the government and its leader, Kim Jong-un.
Previous UN sanctions resolutions have been negotiated between the US and China, and have taken weeks or months, however the Trump administration demanded a vote in just six days.” Reuters/AP

Breaking : "North Korea fired an unidentified missile from the Sunan district in its capital, Pyongyang, toward the eastern direction, South Korea's military said.
The South Korean and U.S. militaries are analyzing details of the launch, the South's Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said.
Reports say Japan put out an alert saying the missile flew over Hokkaido.
It comes as the US general who oversees America's nuclear forces says he assumes that North Korea did in fact test a hydrogen bomb on September 3, crossing a key threshold in its weapons development efforts.
North Korea threatens to 'sink' Japan, reduce US to 'ashes and darkness'
A North Korean state agency threatened on Thursday to use nuclear weapons to 'sink' Japan and reduce the United States to 'ashes and darkness' for supporting a UN Security Council resolution and sanctions over its latest nuclear test.
The Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, which handles the North’s external ties and propaganda, also called for the breakup of the Security Council, which it called “a tool of evil” made up of “money-bribed” countries that move at the order of the United States.
“The four islands of the archipelago should be sunken into the sea by the nuclear bomb of Juche. Japan is no longer needed to exist near us,” the committee said in a statement carried by the North’s official KCNA news agency.
Juche is the North’s ruling ideology that mixes Marxism and an extreme form of go-it-alone nationalism preached by state founder Kim Il Sung, the grandfather of the current leader, Kim Jong Un."

"An accused serial killer suspected of killing five white victims in Kansas City once allegedly said that he wanted to “kill all white people,” the Kansas City Star reported.

Two weeks ago, 22-year-old Fredrick Demond Scott was charged with the murders of Steven Gibbons, 57, and John Palmer, 54. He’s suspected in the murders of three more white men in their 50s or 60s, all shot from behind while walking. Three were were walking their dogs when they were killed, according to KMBC-TV.

The killings began in August of 2016. Gibbons, the most recent victim, was shot on Aug. 14, 2017, after he got off a city bus."

"The next phase of the Korean War — who wins?
My expectation is that it will restart but this will be the end of the first Korean War.
Before and after any conflict there would, in theory, be a lot of communication with China and Russia because they share borders with North Korea. China’s interests are involved and any action with North Korea has the potential for a wider war. The actors involved could include Japan, South Korea. China, North Korea, Russia and the United States.
It is also worth recalling that Russia borders North Korea and has connected railroads and roadways to the region. What that means is that even if China were to cut off North Korea completely, they could still have weapons access from Russia.
In the best case scenario for the war there would be regime change and China would be given assurances that fighting would not be within range of the border at the Yalu River. Under a new regime any leader would have to be more stable than Kim Jong-un and acceptable to China.
The big winner in a regional conflict is Russia. In different ways the US, China, North Korea, and South Korea all lose. Russia is well positioned to sit on the sidelines during of destabilization of East Asia, while the U.S goes deeper in debt."

A same-sex couple in the US have been jailed for 20 years for the brutal beating of a five-year-old boy which caused him to suffer two strokes.

Rachel Stevens, 29 and her partner Kayla Jones, 26, were sentenced to decades behind bars overnight after pleading no contest to child abuse and child neglect charges, Tulsaworld reports.

Muskogee County District Attorney Orvil Loge said the plea deal included a clause that the women were not allowed contact with the child from jail.

“It was a conclusion that was carefully discussed with the family,” Tulsaworld quotes Mr Loge as saying.

“The nature of the injuries were very severe, but the child is doing very well now in a loving home. He is a completely different child now than when this (case) first came in.”

Police were first alerted to the couple in December 2015 after Steven’s son was transferred to St John Medical Center from a local clinic after suffering seizures and presenting with lesions on his face, Tulsaworld reports.

When the child was airlifted to another hospital in Oklahoma City doctors revealed he was malnourished and had multiple broken bones that were at various stages of recovery.

Following an interview with detectives, the boy revealed he had been kept in a locked room and had been bound with duct tape. He also said his mother and his girlfriend had bashed him with a belt.

It was later alleged that Stevens had struck him in the hand with a hammer, while Jones had kicked him in the groin with such strength “it made him bleed”.

Before their arrests, the women had set up a crowdfunding page to raise money for the child, who they claimed had lesions from picking his face and suffered seizures as a result of a fall.

"China's seismic service CENC on Saturday detected a zero-depth, 3.4-magnitude earthquake in North Korea, calling it a "suspected explosion".

The epicentre is roughly the same as that of a previous shallow earthquake on September 3, which turned out to be caused by a North Korean nuclear test, the official Xinhua news agency said.

The earthquake comes after days of increasingly bellicose rhetoric between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un's regime over Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions that has raised international alarm.

There seemed to be some initial difference of opinion, however, with Seoul's Korea Meteorological Agency (KMA) saying that it had registered a tremor of a similar size, but judged it a "natural quake".
