Detective: Kitsap Co. mom admits to strangling son to death on Halloween after praying on it

Detective: Kitsap Co. mom admits to strangling son to death on Halloween after praying on it

KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — A central Kitsap County mother who allegedly admitted to strangling her son to death on Halloween after praying about it will be charged with first-degree murder.

The charges against Amber Jones, 47, were amended Friday from second-degree murder.

James’ 9-year-old boy, Ryan Rosales, died of “obvious homicidal violence.” James was arrested Tuesday, Kitsap County sheriff’s deputy Scott Wilson said.

Court documents say Ryan's mother had called 911 earlier in the week complaining she thought she was being followed by people in cars and airplanes.

The documents also said Ryan's father placed another call to 911 Tuesday morning telling dispatchers he discovered his son's lips were blue and had red spots all over his face.

Here's the account of what happened according to court documents obtained by Q13 News:

Ryan Rosales' father was taking a shower around 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. When he got out, he smelled gas.

The father went into the kitchen and found all four burners on the stove were on with the caps taken off. He confronted James, who denied turning on the gas. He noticed scratches on her neck.

The father then opened the windows of the home to vent the gas. He went to check on his son and give him a kiss, and noticed the boy was cold to the touch and unresponsive. The father called 911 and began CPR.

Paramedics were unable to revive the boy, and he died at the scene. Medics thought something was suspicious and deputies were called to the home in a rural area outside Silverdale near Wildcat Lake.

"This was a situation that needed to be turned over to detectives because there was just something about the situation that did not look right," said Wilson.

James was detained and taken to the sheriff's office in Port Orchard for questioning. Detectives said she had cloves of garlic, two lighters and a small vial of "holy water" at the time. She told the detective she used the water to "say a prayer for my baby."

Detectives said there were writings on the wall including the words: "Harvest," "Spaywar," "Greed kills," "sex trade," "God is coming," "No pedo," and "Michael=Devil." James told detectives she had been watching conspiracy videos on YouTube related to politics and chemtrails, and thought she was being followed.

Investigators decided to take her to a nearby hospital for a mental evaluation and treatment of injuries to her neck.

"While at the hospital and unsolicited by Deputy Trout, Amber told Deputy Trout that she needed to save her son from people that were after us, needed to protect him. She had described (the boy) as the best kid in the world. She stated she had prayed, thought about it, cried and then put her hands around his throat so he couldn't breathe any longer. Amber then asked Deputy Trout, how do I explain to someone why I just ... killed my kid? What is a good explanation of that? I killed my ... kid. Deputy Trout state Amber did not cry or have any tears."

James told a mental health worker that she received the red mark on her left hand when her son fought back.

Court documents also say James had taken medication for anxiety but she didn't have any diagnosis for other mental health disorders.

The 47-year-old mother is being held in Kitsap County Jail. Bail was initially set at $1 million. James made her first court appearance Wednesday afternoon, her next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.

Mental illness

Tragedies like these leave many wondering, how did this happen? Didn’t anyone notice this behavior? And why didn’t anyone intervene or ask for help?

A group of local health professionals is taking a proactive approach to the topic of mental illness by teaching people how to identify and respond to those struggling.

CHI Franciscan Health is spearheading the eight-hour class, hoping to make it as commonplace in as CPR training.

That’s why medical professionals are really pushing everyone, not just first responders, to educate themselves on how to step in before it’s too late.

“Most mental illnesses, if you can catch them early before things get bad, they can absolutely be helped. So this is really critical and can have a huge difference in somebody’s life and can have a huge difference in our community,” says Monet Craton of CHI Franciscan Health.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office also has protocols in place for responding to calls involving people who are mentally ill, often times, that is already a crisis situation.

Jesus Punched Jedi in the Face, Saith the Police

Jesus Punched Jedi in the Face, Saith the Police

Woe unto a Star Wars cosplayer, for a man dressed like Jesus decked him with a punch to the face, saith police. It happened early Wednesday around 3 a.m. in Dundee, Scotland after a Halloween party at the Dundee University Student Association headquarters, according to The Independent. And the victim, clothed as a Jedi knight, did fall to the ground, breaking his ankle to shivers as the vessels of a potter, saith cops. He required succor from a hospital.

Blessed are those who leave the scene of the crime: for investigators cannot find them. Police seek Jesus. Verily, they ask witnesses to contact them about the Lord’s whereabouts. They describe him as mid-20s, about 5’10” fall, featuring a “medium build, with long brown hair, a beard, and wearing long robes as a fancy dress costume.”

Neither God nor the Jedi Council could be reached for comment.

"Porn sites often feature hotel rooms. The operators rely on the anonymity of a hotel room when live-streaming porn or make filthy movies.
But what’s worse, is that hotel rooms are used for sex trafficking. Women and children are displayed and sold online. Usually from hotel rooms. Well, now there’s something you can do to help detectives trying to identify a hotel room from all the millions across the world. If you have a smart phone with a camera, you just download this app and snap four photos when you first enter your hotel room (There’s nothing to identify you at this point.)
The TraffickCam app — which is free and available for iPhone, iPad and Android — allows you to upload pictures of your hotel room, where they are then matched to a database used by law enforcement. This can help the police identify where trafficked children are.
“You just enter your hotel room, and your room number. You take four pictures, and you submit them to the website,” Washington University Researcher and TraffickCam developer Abby Stylianou explains. Since its creation, TraffickCam has acquired over 1.5 million photos of hotels around the world.
Will you add to their database?"

Book of Mormon Central just put out a new video on the plates. Joseph Smith claimed he translated the Book of Mormon from a set of golden plates that were given to him by an angel named Moroni. After the translation was completed, however, Joseph reported that he returned the plates to the angel. Because of this they are unavailable for examination today. Is there any evidence that the plates actually existed, or must believers accept Joseph Smith's account strictly on faith? Who were the three and eight Witnesses whose testimonies have appeared in the Book of Mormon since 1830? And did anyone besides the official witnesses see the angel or physically encounter the plates? This video explores the history behind the witnesses to the Book of Mormon and explains why their combined testimony strongly indicates that Joseph Smith did in fact possess plates "with the appearance of gold" which he translated by the gift and power
of God

They also add three links:

What kind of ore did Nephi use to make the plates?

Police: Armed robber was "experiencing 'the spirit of God'" at Mesa QT

Police: Armed robber was "experiencing 'the spirit of God'" at Mesa QT

MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -
A Mesa man is facing nearly a dozen charges, most of them felonies, after allegedly robbing a convenience store while “experiencing ‘the spirit of God.’”

Police say Brandon Scott Piacitelli, 38, had a loaded handgun in his waistband when they arrested him on Monday, Nov. 6. They also found a second handgun, a semi-automatic rifle and several loaded magazines in his vehicle.

According to the probable cause for arrest statement, Piacitelli told a woman to run in the parking lot of the QuikTrip convenience store at University Drive and Ellsworth Road last Monday.

“’Don’t ask questions. Just run,’” he said, according to court documents.

“Video surveillance footage showed the defendant enter the convenience store, and recklessly brandish a handgun,” the arresting officer wrote. “According to multiple witnesses, the defendant said someone was ‘going to die,’ as he was waving the handgun around.”

Police say Piacitelli got into his car and left the scene only to return a short time later. He quickly sped away again “driving erratically and recklessly through a residential area and near an occupied school ….”

Officers were able to detain Piacitelli.

“The defendant repeatedly made spontaneous statements about how he was experiencing the ‘spirit of God,’ and that someone was going to meet God today,” according to court documents. “He also said he was going to ‘repent today,’ and he was ‘going to show us how [to repent].’ He said the devil was in his backyard, and he had been recording himself dancing around in his backyard for four days, losing sleep.”

Police said Piacitelli continued talking to them after they read him his Miranda rights. The arresting officer said Piacitelli told him about his Facebook posts.

“…[He] told me, ‘The whole world’s waiting to see my next post,’” according to the probable cause statement. “He said, ‘I’m just trying to prove who has the spirit of God,’ and ‘I’ve been doing nothing but trying to stuff the evil down inside of me … I just unleashed a huge bag of truth on this world …like nobody’s ever seen.’”

Police said Piacitelli described the reaction of the people inside the store with him as “bedaffled.”

“’I was just trying to save everybody’s life, and I was acting like a maniac back there,’” Piacitelli said according to court paperwork.

Piacitelli is facing three counts each of kidnapping and aggravated assault, as well as one count each of first-degree burglary, disorderly conduct and unlawful flight from law enforcement.

In addition to indicating that Piacitelli might have mental health issues, court documents also cite a 2004 arrest for disorderly conduct and marijuana possession.
It would be interesting if we could see brain scans of his brain when he described feeling the spirit:
Joel wrote: May 6th, 2017, 4:34 pm
The neural circuitry involved in feeling religious experiences has been identified. Brain regions associated with reward lit up when devout Mormons said that they were "feeling the Spirit". The brain areas that responded included reward circuits that respond to romantic love, appreciation of music, cocaine and methamphetamines.

"New York Times did its part to promote racial harmony, running a piece headlined, “Can My Children Be Friends With White People?”
The piece, by law professor Ekow Yankah at Yeshiva University in New York, argues whites can’t be trusted, aren’t reliable friends and ignore “centuries of exclusion and robust evidence of continuing racism.”
Yankah talks about how his 4-year-old son was trying to “clarify how many people can be his best friends,” but “even a child’s joy is not immune to this ominous political period.”
There were questions in his house about the political violence in Charlottesville last spring.
“Some people hate others because they are different,” the father told the son, “lamely.” But a “childish but distinct panic enters his voice. ‘But I’m not different.'”Yankah writes that real friendship is not just a feeling or the ability to share a beer. It is impossible without the ability to trust others, “without knowing that your wellbeing is important to them.”
“History has provided little reason for people of color to trust white people in this way, and these recent months have put in the starkest relief the contempt with which the country measures the value of racial minorities.”
America is “transfixed” now on solving the opioid crisis, Yankah says, but “when black lives were struck by addiction, we cordoned off minority communities with the police and threw away an entire generation of black and Hispanic men.”
We still talk about joblessness in poor neighborhoods in terms of “bad choices and personal responsibility,” Yankah wrote. But when swaths of white people find themselves out of work, “we get an entire presidential campaign centered on globalization’s impact on the white working class.”
And that means trouble.
“Even the nerve of some rich or visible African-Americans to protest that America, in its laws and in its police, has rarely been just to all has been met with howls of a president who cannot tolerate that the lucky and the uppity do not stay in their place.”
Yankah says Trump supporters are “practiced at purposeful blindness,” starting from Trump claiming before he ever ran for office that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. This was an electoral tactic, ginned up by the Clintons to battle Obama in the 2008 Democrat primaries, but it has become a symbol on par with Klan robes for some.
“That his political life started with denying, without evidence, that Barack Obama is American – that this black man could truly be the legitimate president – is simply ignored,” he writes. Trump’s apologists “deny there is any malice whatsoever in his words and actions … and dismiss any attempt to recognize the danger of his wide-ranging animus as political correctness.”
So the verdict is in for Yankah and, unfortunately, for his young sons who are about to be carefully taught to embrace racism.
“As against our gauzy national hopes, I will teach my boys to have profound doubts that friendship with white people is possible,” Yankah wrote. “When they ask, I will teach my sons that their beautiful hue is a fault line. Spare me platitudes of how we are all the same on the inside. I first have to keep my boys safe, and so I will teach them before the world shows them that this particular brand of rending, violent, often fatal, betrayal.”
Teaching your boys hate and distrust will not help them, but it doesn’t seem Yankah can do it any other way.
“It is impossible to convey the mixture of heartbreak and fear I feel for him,” Yankah writes of his son. “Donald Trump’s election has made it clear that I will teach my boys the lesson generations old, one that I for the most part nearly escaped. I will teach them to be cautious, I will teach them suspicion, and I will teach them distrust. Much sooner than I thought I would, I will have to discuss with my boys whether can truly be friends with white people.”

"Parents are in a position of protection and care, and when their children no longer fall under that umbrella, situations can go south very quickly.
One family in North Tonawanda, New York, is desperately searching for their daughter. Marissa McGary, the girl in question, never returned from a friend’s house earlier this week.
She was last seen on Sunday, when she was supposed to go on a walk after visiting a friend. She left around 10 p.m.
When it got late and she never returned, concerns started rising. Her friends and family haven’t seen her since.
Marissa is currently 15 years old, around 140 pounds, and 5-foot-4. Those who saw her last believe she was wearing dark clothing and white shoes.
While her parents are understandably distraught over their daughter’s safety in general, her mother is also worried because this is not the first time Marissa has acted out. She also ran away when she was 13. A little over a year ago, she disappeared on a Wednesday night. Fortunately, she was found near Niagara Falls, and had suffered no harm.
Her family fears that this new disappearance might have something to do with an online connection. Her mother received some questionable texts on Tuesday that she believes may imply her daughter is not acting on her own.
Marissa’s father, too, has his suspicions. On Tuesday he called his daughter, and she answered the phone.
During the call, he recognized Marissa’s voice, but he also heard a voice in the background that was unfamiliar. It sounded to him like there was a man with Marissa, coaching her on what to say.
Alarmed, the worried dad asked if he could talk to the speaker. He was met with silence, and the call was ended.Authorities were able to link the call to a location in Salamanca, about an hour and a half drive from North Tonawanda. Police there are also looking for her.”

Exiled Chinese Billionaire Uses YouTube To Wage A War On Corruption

Post by Joel »

Guo Wengui sits in self-imposed exile in a $68 million apartment overlooking Central Park.

The billionaire Chinese property tycoon has been waging a media war against his homeland’s government. Guo says he’s trying to stamp out corruption and graft, but China accuses him of the very same thing.

Since January, Guo has taken to YouTube and Twitter making corruption allegations against top Chinese officials. Some of them have been disproven, some can’t be proven, but some have turned out to be accurate. Guo cites the retirement of China’s anti-corruption czar, Wang Qishan, as his most recent victory. Guo alleged Wang and his family made millions in mysterious business dealings. Wang did not respond to the allegations and was never investigated nor charged.

China issued an arrest warrant for Guo but does not have an extradition treaty with the U.S., which has shown no interest in detaining him. Guo, for his part, is hoping the U.S. will grant him asylum and says he can be of use to the Trump Administration. The White House hasn’t commented on Guo’s case but his position as a dissident who may have access to insider information may make him a useful bargaining chip.

Don’t clap for whites

"AUSTIN, Texas – The white professor who quit her full-time position to tour the country, leading seminars on “white fragility,” asked for whites in the room to come forward.

About 15 people walked to the stage and each one read a quote from the projection screen that addressed their “internalized superiority,” “racial privilege” and other deficiencies as whites.

When they finished reading, the professor told the audience to “not clap” for the white people as they returned to their seats. She announced there would be no question-and-answer session.

Then Robin DiAngelo, a part-time lecturer at the University of Washington who coined the term “white fragility” and wrote a forthcoming book on it, summarily dismissed the three-hour exercise in getting whites to feel bad about themselves.

DiAngelo was invited to the University of Texas by the Public Affairs Alliance for Communities of Color, a student group, to lead Saturday’s racially charged event titled “White Fragility: Understanding and Working Against White Privilege.”

She’s given seminars at this year’s Diversity and Inclusion Summit at Brown University, and at schools ranging from tiny Franklin & Marshall College to 15,000-student Western Washington University.

In a 2011 journal article that introduced white fragility to the world, DiAngelo defines it as “a state in which even a minimum amount of racial stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves.”

DiAngelo told participants that even as someone who leads seminars on the subject, it’s hard for her to talk about white fragility because it makes all whites uncomfortable and “very irrational.”

She warned participants from the start that the whites in the room would likely get defensive because they tend to hold “emotionally charged” opinions on racism.

Though they have “a perspective,” whites have to recognize that their knowledge is limited unless they devote “years [of] sustained study, struggle, and focus” to racism, according to DiAngelo, who says she co-designed the “Race and Social Justice Initiative Anti-Racism training” for Seattle.

The workshop was a veritable parade of diversity buzzwords. DiAngelo said her goal is “interrupting whiteness” because it is often “unmarked,” and people must “center it” in order to “expose” and remove it.

Among questions posed during two- to three-person discussion groups that DiAngelo occasionally convened: “How does whiteness manifest” in society, “What is welcoming and affirming for white people here” and “How do white people respond when the topic of racism comes up?”

Men might take back women’s right to vote?

During one small-group discussion, DiAngelo asked participants to define “Prejudice,” “Discrimination,” and “Institutionalized Oppression” so as to highlight how whites may misinterpret these words.

She showed a slide that revealed how men are overrepresented in powerful American roles such as CEO, member of Congress, mayor, governor and the presidency.

DiAngelo titled it “The Example of Women’s Suffrage,” apparently because she asked the crowd if they believe men could take the right to vote away from women. She didn’t answer her own question, but rather smiled and moved on.

Another slide said 99 percent of the directors of the 100 top grossing films of all time worldwide were men.

DiAngelo used a photo of male politicians discussing women’s healthcare to show how men are keeping women under their thumb. She highlighted the amount of “power” and “sexism” in the room.

Pretending to be a fly on the wall, DiAngelo said one of those politicians will suggest they should include women in the discussion. Eventually his colleagues agree, in DiAngelo’s scenario, in order to make them look more inclusive.

But these males’ strategy for drawing women into the discussion is to “make the brochures pink.” Eventually a woman will join their group, and at some point she will “help them see their sexism.”

However, DiAngelo did distinguish among women by their race, class and “intersectionality,” saying “there is no universal woman’s experience.”

“Racial Socialization Questions,” the name of another group discussion, featured questions that will make participants reflect on their race and background.

If UT faculty or administrators were in the seminar, they didn’t announce it beyond their small groups. One person in a group with The College Fix identified as a UT staff member who was there to learn.

Some questions touched on how messages were transmitted to people when they were kids, such as how racially diverse was their neighborhood and “What messages did you get about race from the geography of race?”

DiAngelo also asked groups to answer: “When is the first time you had a teacher of the same race as you? How often did that happen? When did you first have a teacher of a different race than you?”

These are important discussion topics because they help people talk about “institutionalized oppression,” such as DiAngelo’s assertion that whites are too great a percentage of teachers in America.

Racism is embedded in the United States, she continued: “We are in a society that are not equal,” and “institutionalized oppression” can be found in religion, family and the media.

But many white people use a tactic called “white defensiveness” when they’re talking about race, which makes it hard to talk about racism, according to DiAngelo. She didn’t define the term, but one example given in a blog post is the phrase “All lives matter.”

People of color understand more than her, as a white person, how this defensive mechanism can cripple people from seeing their own racism, she said: “People of color understand what it means to be white more than I ever will.”

As with other terms in her presentation, DiAngelo didn’t define what she meant by “white space” and “black & brown space,” other than that society teaches the first is “good,” “sheltered” and “innocent,” and the second is “sketchy,” “dirty,” and “to be avoided.”

The following slide, “Above The Surface: Dominant White Racial Narratives,” listed quotes that whites say to supposedly make themselves feel like they’re not racist: “I was taught to treat everyone the same,” “Race doesn’t have any meaning to me” and “I see people as individuals.”

When a man plays ‘Devil’s advocate,’ it’s a ‘power move’

The next participation activity focused on white wrongdoing from the perspectives of whites and “people of color.”

Whites were asked “what narratives” they have used to “deny the impact of race on my life and present myself as ‘getting at it’?” Nonwhites were asked how whites deny that impact.

Though she didn’t hold a Q&A, DiAngelo told participants they could individually talk to her afterwards.

Asked by The Fix if groups other than whites suffer from fragility, she cited “dominant groups” such as “males” and “able-bodied” people that make other groups suffer.

She declined to answer a question about why men are the overwhelming majority of the prison population if they are a dominant group.

The Fix had asked to play “devil’s advocate,” to which DiAngelo responded that such phrasing is a “power move” coming from a male."

"Greg Gudorf believes movies and TV shows don’t need to be riddled with sex, violence, and inappropriate language to be entertaining. In fact, they can even be inspirational.

He’s so passionate about this belief, that after leaving his 30-year-career in the technology field, he took on the role of CEO of Pure Flix Digital, a streaming video-on-demand service focused on faith and family programming.

“When I was in technology, the comments I heard were, ‘Greg, you made the battery last longer, nice job!’ What I heard from Pure Flix customers was, ‘Finally, I can watch TV with my kids without having to have my hand on the mute button,’” Gudorf told The Gospel Herald in a phone interview.

PureFlix.com offers thousands of movies and TV shows that are safe for the whole family. Since 2015, it’s launched seven original series, the latest being the sitcom "Hitting the Breaks" which guest stars big names like Tim Tebow, Rob Schneider and Carrot Top. This fall, it’s releasing the first-ever faith-based soap opera, "Hilton Head Island”, starring Antonio Sabato Jr., Donna Mills and Crystal Hunt.

"What we’re trying to do at Pure Flix is not say, ‘go away from the media’, because it’s a fact of life now,” Gudorf said. “Our role now is to make content available that speaks in a positive, uplifting and even inspirational manner.”

He added, “This doesn’t mean that we shy away from dramas or action movies, etc., because we have all of those genres. But, everything that we bring to the platform is focused on bringing to the good to life.”

The average adult in the US is involved in more than 11 hours of media a day, whether it’s online media or TV. Estimates are that by the age of 17, the average child will have consumed 65,000 hours of media, compared to about 11,000 hours that the child will spend in school and more than 32 times the number of hours they will spend with a parent.

In light of these shocking statistics, Gudorf believes it falls on parents to pay “extra attention” to what their kids are exposed to via technology.

“I can’t help but be frightened by what we’re doing to our children with such a media diet,” he said. “Parents who choose Christian entertainment are protecting the minds and hearts of their children. We can choose to either rail against what the mainstream media puts out and go with nothing, or we can rail against it and find something positive. That’s what Pure Flix is trying to offer.”

In the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s, the Church heavily influenced the movie-making industry: “whether you were 5 or 95, you could go to the theater together and watch a movie,” Gudorf said.

In the early ‘60s, however, the Church pulled out of Hollywood - and the meteoric rise in sex and violence seen in movies since then is undeniable.

“Hollywood’s a business, and like any business, they put out what people are responding to. As a society, we respond to the likes of Game of Thrones, or whatever the latest Orange is the New Black episode is,” Gudorf said. “At the same time, Hollywood needs to recognize the groundswell of folks who just want good values, clean programming, and an uplifting message.”

Still, as seen in the release of films like “Miracles from Heaven”, “Risen” and “God’s Not Dead,” Hollywood seems to be slowly waking up to this realization.

“Hollywood’s an interesting animal. At one end, you have this need to be edgy, and that’s what drives a lot of the media today,” he said. “At the same time, there are studies that show that PG-13 and cleaner content actually produces more revenue than R-rated content. Hollywood, being a money-driven business, is beginning to see that.”

Unfortunately, nothing will truly change until the Church - the universal body of Christ - once again gets involved in the conversation.

“For so long, the Church has warned against the dangers of media and preached that we should move away from it,” he explained. “But, our human nature is we’re hooked, we’re addicted. You can tell an addict it’s not good for them, but unless you show the addict an alternative, it becomes difficult. Of course, the Church has got the best alternative in the simple words of Jesus Christ Himself. In the media world, we want to make sure those messages come through.”

For parents seeking to give their families a clean, uplifting alternative to much of what Hollywood puts out, PureFlix.com is offering a free one-month trial to its video streaming services with thousands of titles. With access to movies and shows ranging from classics like “The Little Rascals” and “The Dick Van Dyke Show” to newer titles including “Woodlawn” and “God’s Not Dead 2”, there’s an option for every taste and interest.

According to Gudorf, Pure Flix isn’t stopping anytime soon.

“People are hungry for this kind of content, we see that from the positive response from consumers,” he shared. “We’ll continue to do more uplifting projects that we believe will resonate with viewers.”

"The LGBT community continues to target young children, attempting to confuse and brainwash impressionable young minds.
At first, they attempted to get buy-in from parents, trying to convince them to accept their child’s “choice” regarding what gender they want to be.
When that didn’t work, they knew they had to change tactics. But a recent move by the LGBT crowd is so shocking, they are even trying to hide it from parents.
And if the proposed regulation goes through in Delaware schools, parents are in for the fight of their lives, to protect their children.
LGBT activists know children talk to their parents. And they know if children communicate what’s actually happening in the classroom, there would be a massive public backlash and a media firestorm.
Instead, they are opting to do what they do best – enforce their policies in secret, hoping no one will thwart their plans.
Their latest move proposes children should be allowed to choose their own gender or race, which will then become official in the school records.
As if that isn’t bad enough, there is a provision which states parents can only be notified, if they support the child’s “decision.”
Meaning, if a little girl thinks she is a boy, her parent can’t intervene in the official “change in gender.”
LifeSite News reported:
“All students enrolled in a Delaware public school may self-identify gender or race,” Regulation 225 says, and that will be maintained in official records.
The regulation stipulates that students’ parents may only be notified of their child’s trans-race or transgender identification if they are “supportive of the student” and his or her confusion.
It says:
A school may request permission from the parent or legal guardian of a minor student before a self identified gender or race is accepted; provided, however, that prior to requesting the permission from a parent or legal guardian, the school should consult and work closely with the student to assess the degree to which, if any, the parent or legal guardian is aware of the Protected Characteristic and is supportive of the student, and the school shall take into consideration the safety, health and well-being of the student in deciding whether to request permission from the parent or legal guardian.
“Every parent should be outraged by this regulation,” said Nicole Theis, President of the Delaware Family Policy Council. “It’s parents who oversee the care and protection of their children.”
Theis warned that parents who affirm their children’s biological sex and race would be “positioned as discriminatory through policies like Regulation 225.”
Unbelievable.
A parent could be seen as discriminatory, by affirming to their little girl she is actually a girl?
There is nothing more outrageous.
This latest move proves just how serious the attack on our children really is.
The LGBT community will not stop.
Attempting to stand between a child and a parent, completely crosses all boundaries, and should have every parent in America outraged.
But it gets worse.
The regulation goes so far as to say sex-education classes and locker rooms are no longer determined based on one’s biological sex and are instead determined by the student’s “gender identity.”
LifeSite News continued:
“The regulations would require schools to allow students to play on any sports team regardless of sex. Only an alleged female “gender identity” would be necessary for a boy to play on an all-female team. The “student’s assigned sex at birth” would be irrelevant.
Sex education classes would be co-ed if a student’s “gender identity” didn’t match his or her real sex.
“A student shall have the opportunity to participate in the program of instruction dealing exclusively with human sexuality that is consistent with the student’s gender identity regardless of the student’s assigned sex at birth,” the guidelines say.
“School Districts and Charter Schools shall work with students and families” to ensure boys have access to girls’ locker rooms and vice versa, the regulations say.
Students will be able to access “locker rooms and bathrooms that correspond to [their] gender identity or expression.”
Parents need to speak up and do everything in their power to stop the attack on children from the LGBT community before it’s too late."

"My friend and colleague Robert Spencer – the director of Jihad Watch – gave a speech on the alliance between Islamists and the Left at Stanford University the other day.
So many students showed up to hear them speak that they had to be ushered into overflow rooms.
But dozens of students decided to protest Robert by walking out in the middle of his speech.
That's right. They planned a walk out to disrupt his speech.

Stanford is one of the country's top universities...yet this is how students behave when confronted with a different point of view.
And to make matters even worse, the students in overflow rooms that actually wanted to listen to him were not allowed into the auditorium by faculty.
You might say they were just exercising their free speech. But what about Robert Spencer's free speech? What about free speech for the students that actually wanted to hear him speak, but weren't allowed to?

Why is free speech treated like a privilege for the Left instead of a right for everyone at American universities?
People like me and Robert Spencer have to pay thousands of dollars to even give these speeches and risk our personal safety, yet we aren't even allowed to speak to the students who want to hear us.

Robert Spencer said it best himself:
"The idea that ideas are to be rejected on the basis of whether they are acceptable to various elites–that's just the opposite of what free discourse really is...
...And so these Stanford people who just left are actually behaving in a way that's completely in opposition to what a university ought to be."

Thank you for your continued support.
