Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
To be fair, this is probably a lot more complicated that we make it out to be.
The Marred Servant could very well be someone completely separate from the Holy Ghost who contains a piece of of his nature/soul, as well as pieces of the other members of the Godhead. Thus, technically he WOULD be the Holy Ghost, but not Him at the same time. Soul Shards are complicated.

LDS Anarchist,
I have read all that you have written here and on your website. I have followed you through some tough years. You have brought me Great Comfort. I admire your willingness to stand alone & sure in what you believe. Do not cast ALL that you perceive, into concrete. The truth always lies within two extremes. This is the nature of this life until those two extremes are one day separated.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
Well this is true when you consider there are Seven Spirits of God, one who presides over each order and one who presides over the seven (Michael.) The angel of the Lord is the one who sits on the throne to which He aspires just as Jehovah sits on the throne of Elohim (which means Gods plural.)Durzan wrote: ↑April 18th, 2018, 9:07 pm To be fair, this is probably a lot more complicated that we make it out to be.

D&C 121:27 Which our forefathers have awaited with anxious expectation to be revealed in the last times, which their minds were pointed to by the angels, as held in reserve for the fulness of their glory;
28 A time to come in the which nothing shall be withheld, whether there be one God or many gods, they shall be manifest.
29 All thrones and dominions, principalities and powers, shall be revealed and set forth upon all who have endured valiantly for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I don't know if anyone has noticed that I cite James as the Davidic Servant, and there is a lot of scriptural precedent (and temple endowment precedent.) But if he is the Holy Ghost, who descended upon Jesus as a dove? Who was present in that capacity at the day of Pentecost? Certainly not James. This must have either been Michael himself or one of the other seven, well, other than Peter.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
Ephraim is the birthright tribe yet Jesus was born to Judah - why?zacary wrote: ↑April 18th, 2018, 8:55 pm The Holy Ghost is the Davidic Servant. Like Our Savior, when He came to the earth, the Holy Ghost will represent & stand in type for Our Father in Heaven.
The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11, are the Holy Ghost's Two Sons who stand in type for Christ & the Holy Spirit being lead and mentored by their Father and are sent on their final Mission to the house of Juda after assisting their Father in the Gathering of the Lost Tribes of Israel. This relationship depicts the entire picture of the Plan of Salvation from the beginning of our premortal existence to end of our temporal existence.
Juda=Husband to Ephriam, & Father to Lost Tribes (the children of the family of Israel). Juda=Right to Rule family.
Ephriam=Wife to Juda, & Mother to Lost Tribes (the children of Israel). Ephriam=Birthright Blessing=Mother in Heaven
Israel=Family of Juda & Ephriam (Heavenly Father & Our Mother in Heaven).
Israel=Marriage of Juda & Ephriam.
Juda=Jesus
Ephriam=Holy Ghost
Jesus=Male child to represent Our Father in Heaven
Holy Ghost=Male Child to represent Our Mother in Heaven
Jesus' earthly Mission=Femine
Holy Ghost's earthly Mission=Masculine
Jesus' anti mortal Mission=Masculine
Holy Ghost anti mortal Mission=Feminine
Juda=Father in Heaven
Ephriam=Mother in Heaven
Lost Tribes=Lost Children on earth of Our Heavenly Parents
When viewed as a "Family Matter" and structure, the Plan of Salvation and Scriptures are VERY PLAIN & EASY to interpret.
Ephraim crowns the ten tribes in glory per D&C 133 rather than Judah.
Jesus is more of a symbol of Heavenly Mother as His mission is mercy and the symbolism of birth is very Christlike as per Moses.
Moses 6:59 That by reason of transgression cometh the fall, which fall bringeth death, and inasmuch as ye were born into the world by water, and blood, and the spirit, which I have made, and so became of dust a living soul, even so ye must be born again into the kingdom of heaven, of water, and of the Spirit, and be cleansed by blood, even the blood of mine Only Begotten; that ye might be sanctified from all sin, and enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come, even immortal glory;
Every time a mother suffers to bring a child into the world through blood, she is a sacred symbol of the Savior Himself who suffers for each soul that enters into heaven. That's why Mother's day is a real "holy" day and Father's day isn't.
The Davidic Servant's mission is one of judgement and reproving - He and Ephraim represent Justice, the Law and New Jerusalem whereas Christ represents Mercy, the Word, and Jerusalem.
I do agree that the two witnesses are a microcosm of these two dynamics, with John representing the Word and Mercy where the language of judgement and righteousness (execution of law) is the Davidic Servant's.
Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Enoch 62:2 And the Lord of Spirits seated him on the throne of His glory, And the spirit of righteousness was poured out upon him, And the word of his mouth slays all the sinners. And all the unrighteous are destroyed from before his face.
Per D&C 113, both the root and the rod are joining together both birthrights.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
Durzan,
Very observant. The Holy Ghost, like Jacob, (the son who preferred living in the tent of his mother, over his father), is a male child of Rebecca,(type for Our Mother in Heaven). So I guess that would make HER the ultimate Hidden Holy Secret of Heaven, represented by her son, the Holy Spirit of His Mother.
Jesus represented Our Mother in Heaven by the NATURE of His Earthly Calling, though by his NATURAL premortal nature, he is more like Our Father.
The Holy Ghost will represent Our Father in Heaven by the NATURE of his earthly calling, though by his NATURAL premortal nature, he is more like Our Mother.

Isaiah 40:9 ¶ O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
12 ¶ Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
Meant to write this a few days ago but my neurological issues have flared up real bad out of nowhere. I'd rather write a good, coherent post than a rushed one, especially with a topic like this.
I like the phrase Alaris used "key word of the Davidic Servant". The ministry of Jesus began the revealing of the theretofore-hidden Father. The ministry of the Holy Ghost will unveil the fulness of the Revelation of the Father. And thus is the drama of the ceremony of the Two Goats fulfilled in very deed. Jesus Christ is the ultimate Manifestation of the Father unto mankind, what God is, what perfection looks like and to display the celestial life. Moreover it operated under the theme of Cleansing, washing one spotless, remitting one's sins and preparing him for the coming of the Holy Ghost. The coming ministry of the third will focus on the execution, the how. But members of the Church already know the "how" - right? By receiving the Holy Ghost and experiencing the Sanctification, or the Baptism of Fire. Starting to see the pattern yet? Jesus' ministry was that of the Baptism of Water; the Last God's will be of the Baptism of Fire. He with an ear to hear let him hear.
I also agree with the assessment that Jesus, his life and his teachings (like the Davidic Servant's will be) are, and have been incredibly misunderstood. On my mission a lifelong friend of mine, then in my area, shared with our mission president a concern people would often voice: "you preach a different Jesus Christ". And He is a different Jesus Christ, as "Christendom" has hardly the slightest notion of the nature of God. And the followers today are merely the children of those who never heard Joseph Smith Jr. The personage referred to here as the Davidic Servant is not comprehended in the slightest by them; they believe in and worship a different Holy Ghost. And his case is unique, in that a false/incomplete understanding of the Last member of the Godhead exists not only throughout mainstream Christianity but in the LDS Church. Just as Jesus came among His own and they knew Him not, might things run on a parallel in the endtime? The Jews took His teachings for blasphemy and doctrinally unfeasible. They could not comprehend the doctrine of Immanuel (God is with us), or that God may have a Son. I testify that this will be the exact same in the last days, and that the kings and queens of the gentiles are those who listen and obey the voice of the Spirit.
The Holy Ghost is taking upon him flesh and will perform a ministry. LDS theology does not allow for such things, not in it's current incomplete state. Christianity would take the notion as impossible and perverted. Islam would deem it blasphemy, just like it does Christianity and for all the same reasons. An uphill battle indeed.
The truth reasoning that the Holy Ghost and the person commonly referred to as "Satan" are the principal enemies of the premortal life (Michael, being the title of a relative office, is the Holy Ghost and was the one who slew rahab, and put down the dragon - just like he will again) is verified in the simple placement of this person within the timeline of the Plan of Salvation. If the common idea were true that Jehovah-Lucifer are the archrivals then it would certainly make for a spiritually anticlimactic conclusion to the Plan of Salvation in my view. Rather the rivalry of the dragons rings true in my ears. The wicked one has sought, as Alaris pointed out, to obscure the truth of the premortality as much as possible. To hide it is to conceal the truth of his hitherto-greatest failure.
Anyway, it's time for some scriptures. I don't know if Paul wrote it or someone else and frankly I'm not that bothered, as I know the epistle to the Hebrews to be inspired text. There are a multitude of scriptures and teachings therein which are relative to the doctrine being discussed in this thread, some of which have been quoted already. I'd like to add some more.
Hebrews 3
Back to Hebrews 3.
The author here disproves the fallacy that Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost (or "David" in the rendering above). He says that Jesus did not give them the rest spoken of in these scriptures. That comes from the Angel who led them through the wilderness into the promised land, and who will again. There is not one goat but two.
Verse 7: "he limiteth a certain day...in David", that sounds familiar.
Joseph describes the main purpose of the ministry of the Davidic Servant; to bear the message of a new covenant, which upon the saints of God he will endow, when the way of the Lord shall be written upon their hearts.
Jeremiah 31
Psalm 110
Hebrews 8
The Third God will take upon him flesh, and fulfil the earthly counterpart to his heavenly mission.

There are a multitude of scriptures and teachings therein which are relative to the doctrine being discussed in this thread, some of which have been quoted already. I'd like to add some more.
Hebrews 3
The author begins by talking about Jesus Christ and His relationship with the Father. He then starts talking about Moses, calling him a "servant", for the purpose of distinguishing Christ from Moses. One is God, the other a type. These first six verses act as a prologue for the chapter, and while veiled they are meant to teach things which are among the deepest and most hidden of doctrines. Perhaps I'll come back to this later.1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
The author is quoting Psalm 95.7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
"For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand", the dialogue reads (and I can't hold back the tears), in reference to Jehovah. The individual speaking here, whom the author calls the "Holy Ghost", talks as if he were the selfsame personage known as the Angel who protected, kept and guided ancient Israel to the Promised Land, as discussed earlier in this thread.7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
Back to Hebrews 3.
A new layer of truth and application for this scripture perhaps?12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
"hardened through the deceitfulness of sin". The title of Deceiver belongs to the son of perdition and the endtime antichrist. The word hardened has been used in the scriptures to describe people who are insensate to the influence of the Holy Ghost. He with an ear to hear let him hear.13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;
The author is obsessed with the people who were following Moses, and the spectrum of Belief versus Unbelief. He then expounds next in Chapter 4.15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
The author for the first time connects God's covenant people of olden time, and the people of his time, gearing up for the main point to come.1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
I'll discuss verse seven last, as it more naturally leads into my successive point.7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Wow. The author states in explicit plainness that these prophecies, even in his own day, yet await their fulfillment.9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Perhaps this advice applies to the Latter-Day Saints more than any people before.10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Verse 7: "he limiteth a certain day...in David", that sounds familiar.
Another day limited in David, the prophet writes in reference to this verse. The same verse being quoted in the prior chapter, but ascribed to the Personage of the Holy Ghost. "Please", the author of Hebrews implores the members of the LDS Church - "Please do not follow in the steps of your fathers who provoked the Angel of the Lord's presence, and hearkened not to his voice. Please don't be them". Listen to the voice of the Spirit; was this not the theme of General Conference?“…their unbelief has not rendered the promise of God [to make with them a new covenant] of none effect: no, for there was another day limited in David, which was the day of His power; [when a prophet of the lineage of David shall be raised up] and then His people, Israel, should be a willing people, and he would write his law in their hearts, and print it in their thoughts; their sins and their iniquities he would remember no more” (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 1, p. 313.)
Joseph describes the main purpose of the ministry of the Davidic Servant; to bear the message of a new covenant, which upon the saints of God he will endow, when the way of the Lord shall be written upon their hearts.
Jeremiah 31
Sounds exactly like the sanctification process of receiving the Holy Ghost and experiencing the baptism of fire.32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Psalm 110
Jeremiah 323 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them
And then who does Paul talk about in Romans 11:26?Latter-day prophecies foretell the rising up of a prophet among the Jews in the last days to prepare the way for the second coming of Christ, whose mission corresponds to the Jewish messianic concept. Joseph Smith predicted a change would come over Israel in the days of this prophet when he said, speaking of the Jews:
“… their unbelief has not rendered the promise of God [to make with them a new covenant] of none effect: no, for there was another day limited in David, which was the day of His power; [when a prophet of the lineage of David shall be raised up] and then His people, Israel, should be a willing people. …” (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 1, p. 313.)
Because the Jews rejected Christ, they were cast off from enjoying the rights of the priesthood and the gifts of the Spirit, enabling the Gentiles to receive the gospel and to be considered as people of the covenant. Paul, using the symbolism of the olive tree, indicated that the Jews would eventually be grafted back into the tree, while the Gentiles would be in danger of being broken off. Paul also said that receiving the Jews into the new covenant would be as “life from the dead.” (Rom. 11:15.) But, he said, “… blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” (Rom. 11:25.)
The Lord provided a means to dispel the partial spiritual blindness resting on the Jews when he commanded Latter-day Saints to “seek diligently to turn … the hearts of the Jews unto the prophets, and the prophets unto the Jews. …” (D&C 98:16–17.) As the mission of Ephraim unfolds, we may expect great things from Judah. (Avraham Gileadi, How have the Jewish people come to view their early expectation of a Messiah?, Ensign February 1975)
The Deliverer. Orson Pratt had something to say about this Deliverer:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Who will come? The Deliverer. What will he do? Establish a covenant among the people of God, changing their hearts and their minds and sanctifying them from all sin. Is it still not obvious? Can you not taste the truth of this doctrine?Who will be that Deliverer? Certainly Jesus, when he came eighteen centuries ago, did not turn away ungodliness from Jacob, for they then were filling up their cup with iniquity. They have remained in unbelief from that day to this; hence, there did not come a Deliverer out of Zion eighteen centuries ago. But the Zion of the last days, that Zion that is so frequently and so fully spoken of by the ancient prophets, especially by Isaiah, is the Church and kingdom of God; and out of that Church or kingdom or Zion is to come a Deliverer, who will turn away ungodliness from Jacob after the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Hebrews 8
He who receives the First Comforter is enabled to fully receive the Second. "For all shall know me", Jehovah declares by the tongue of the prophet.8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
The Third God will take upon him flesh, and fulfil the earthly counterpart to his heavenly mission.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
Fantastic post Abijah. I had not considered many of the scriptures you shared or the aspect of writing the law on the hearts of Israel and didn't realize there were quotes from Joseph Smith and Orson Pratt to reinforce that aspect. I need to read through Hebrews as it seems there's a lot more to the Holy Ghost end times prophecies than chapter 9.
Speaking of chapter 9 that teaches of the importance of the Ark of the covenant, consider the Ark appears in heaven at the end of revelation chapter 11 after the two witnesses ascend, and consider the Ark is mentioned again in conjunction with the one mighty and strong in D&C 85:7-8.
Now consider for a moment that perhaps the person in verse 8 is the adversary who vied for the role of Holy Ghost / Davidic Servant / OMAS:
D&C 85:7 And it shall come to pass that I, the Lord God, will send one mighty and strong, holding the scepter of power in his hand, clothed with light for a covering, whose mouth shall utter words, eternal words; while his bowels shall be a fountain of truth, to set in order the house of God, and to arrange by lot the inheritances of the saints whose names are found, and the names of their fathers, and of their children, enrolled in the book of the law of God;
8 While that man, who was called of God and appointed, that putteth forth his hand to steady the ark of God, shall fall by the shaft of death, like as a tree that is smitten by the vivid shaft of lightning.
Whoever the person is in verse 8, the implication is that the Ark is for the OMAS alone, reinforcing Hebrews 9 and Revelation 11 that tie the Ark to the Ascension of the Holy Ghost and the Ascension of the two witnesses. Could the two cherubim on the Ark who flank the mercy seat be the two olive trees, the two candlesticks, and the two witnesses who stand by the Lord of the earth?
Revelation 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
i could go on but i’ve been up for AGES and im shattered

i like your comments on the ark. the ark will be restored by the davidic servant, and placed in the temple he will build. i’ll try and elaborate on this later.

1 John 5
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
jehovah leads the ministry of cleansing and water. his davidic heir makes the ministry of fire and blood. he with an ear to hear let him hear

This makes sense and I have contemplated and have received a witness. This beautiful, so very beautiful. You have made it so clear, the related scriptures and quotes leave no doubt.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
I'll assume you mean Abijah by "You have made it so clear." He is a great writer!
All kidding aside, I am truly humbled by your post and by zacary's. I know there are several truths I have shared that aren't popular, and certainly aren't easy to digest and even produce a fair amount of cognitive dissonance. I have also stated many times I would not know if I would have been able to accept them myself had I not walked my own path. I feel the spirit witness this to me as I write this, so it must be true. So, you and zacary are certainly well above me in this regard.
Abijah's witness was significant to me as he arrived to the same conclusion separately regarding the coming of the Holy Ghost.
Yours and Zacary's are yet another layer of importance here to me personally. I know the Holy Ghost is the Davidic Servant - the servant in Isaiah, and the angel of the Lord who led the children of Israel from captivity to deliverance. Despite my witness, I know these things have been hidden, so I have been earnestly curious as to whether these truths will be made manifest to all.
I know some are curious as to why the Lord has not revealed this through his prophet, Russell M. Nelson. That is a great question, though President Eyring's talks from the last two conferences and President Nelson's comments from this last conference is a witness to me that these men know what is coming yet for whatever reason are not able to spell it out explicitly. In fact, President Nelson's comments about the Holy Ghost seem to indicate both - that he knows what's coming and that only the constant influence of the Holy Ghost will allow for spiritual survival.
I have also said I would feel happy if I were only able to reach just one person. So, your comments are truly appreciated. As I have pondered on the deep joy and gratitude I have felt, I have been very introspective on how I personally arrived at these truths. There are a few truths that were critical that I embrace before being able to fully grasp the importance of what is being revealed as the Holy Ghost makes manifest the way into the holiest of all. I may post on that next - may make an article of it. Not that numbers matter, but I haven't written anything on my blog since February as I have been busily adding to this thread and others. May make an article of that as well.

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
I am starting to put this all together in an article, but there is so much! The layers upon layers keep coming.
I started to write a post earlier today about the foundation that the Lord has laid upon me to receive these truths. One of the foundational layers is the seven levels of mankdind. The more I learn about the angel of the Lord and the layers of truth built into these scriptures that date back to the Book of Enoch, the more these truths reinforce each other.
Seven levels of mankind - seven archangels, one over each level. You must traverse them all to reach the full measure and stature of man. The seventh level is where the Father is revealed - where the holiest place of all is made manifest ala Hebrews 9. The wonderful scripture that Abijah shared (in another thread) about the captain of the Lord's host ...
Joshua 5:13 ¶ And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Now, just as in the Book of Revelation, the angel who identifies himself as the captain of the Lord's host - and very importantly gives no name - then speaks for YHWH:
Joshua 6:1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
2 And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.
4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.
Reaching that seventh day is the day of deliverance - the day a conditional servant becomes an unconditional inheritor. And within that seventh day there is yet another subset of seven circles around the city and seven trumpets are sounded - sound familiar? (Revelation) Could the circles be eternal rounds?
Then the wall - the barrier that separates the people from their promise - comes down. This is a symbol of what the Holy Ghost is achieving for himself personally - the return to the Father's presence. The same privilege that the seven Spirits of God enjoy as evidenced by their first, Adam, and their last, Joseph Smith. Of course, this is also a foreshadowing and type of the end times, when the Holy Ghost makes manifest the holiest of all.
Not coincidentally, the angel of the Lord is the one who reveals these instructions - by the word of YHWH - to Joshua.
Finally, there is a very curious prophesy left by Joshua at the end of chapter 6:
Joshua 6:26 ¶ And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
The Revelation 12 sign is the spiritual birth - a heavenly birth - of one who has overcome the six levels to join the seventh - the level of archangels. He is the newest son, having overcome the level of seraphim to become an unconditional inheritor, to receive this new covenant of Godhood. In this seventh level, there are seven more levels to ascend - each a governance, or a throne, over each level of mankind. He is the youngest son ... and he sets up the gates of New Jerusalem where Enoch and his city meets him and his city (Moses 7:62-63.) The foundation is laid, of course, in the firstborn, Jesus Christ, who is the oldest son ... by birthright. Absolutely beautiful scripture.
Admittedly, there is an inconsistency between Joshua and Revelation. The captain of the Lord's hosts tells Joshua to loose the shoe for he is on holy ground. In revelation, the Angel of the Lord tells John to stop worshiping him for he is the fellowservant. There are a few possibilities here, but the one I believe is most likely is that John is the very next in line of Priesthood authority. Joshua may be a few more rungs down ... maybe. Another possibility, is the captain of the Lord's host is one of the seven Spirits of God who has already ascended to this level of holiness, though the fact there is no name given leads me to believe this is the hidden servant. Moreover, I equated the Davidic Servant to the captain of the seraphim long before I equated him to the Holy Ghost or the Angel of the Lord--and that equation was largely spiritual rather than scriptural. In fact, one of the most sacred experiences I have had indicated that the Davidic Servant calls forth the hosts of heaven in the end times. This makes much more sense if he is their captain.
Finally, though this is more trivial than the other two possibilities, is Joshua never fell down to worship. Maybe John was already barefoot!

Re: The Davidic Servant is The Holy Ghost
I agree, and would say that's one of the fruits of true doctrine; it is living.
I believe in the notion of the ascension of the Holy Ghost, but perhaps not quite the same as you. The idea of him ascending to the level of these seven dispensation heads has never made sense to me and I personally disagree with that framework.Alaris wrote: ↑April 24th, 2018, 12:40 am Then the wall - the barrier that separates the people from their promise - comes down. I don't want to be a buzzkill, but this scripture is saying that the "cursed...man" who tries to restore Jericho to it's former day of wickedness will do so at the expense of not only their firstborn, but lastborn son (poetic imagery).Alaris wrote: ↑April 24th, 2018, 12:40 am Joshua 6:26 ¶ And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

New American Standard Bible
English Standard VersionThen Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying, "Cursed before the LORD is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn he shall lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he shall set up its gates."
I maintain the personage of the Holy Ghost is the child of Jehovah, as documented quotes from Joseph Smith necessitate; for if the Holy Ghost proves worthy in this current mission and probation, he passes through the way the Son has here. And what did Joseph have to say about the Son? He will be the Father, as clearly implied in the King Follett Sermon. What might this mean, in terms of the relationship between Jehovah and the Holy Ghost?Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying, “Cursed before the LORD be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. “At the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates."
