I prefer a colder one, but I married a Utah girl, and keeping her away from these horrid deserts wasn't something I was sure I'd fully accomplish. I tried, but in the end I love her more than I do Alaska, or even Colorado (which really is the best place on the earth, and by a HUGE margin at that) so here we are. At least up here in the mountains, and close to Colorado at that, I'm in a compromise I can handle.

What will happen after Sep 23rd?

Well, the day after will be a fun-loving celebration. The 24th is my 30th Wedding Anniversary. Other than that, since it's just another Sunday, I'm guessing church meetings, football games, dinner, and other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm not surprised a lot of theories, contrived prophecies, and doom pronunciations are taking place though. It's a fairly common pattern: In one year it's the Autumn, in another it's the Spring, doom of some sort is prognosticated. Occasionally it's both seasons in the same year, but I think the doomsayers are adept enough to realize if they proclaimed the sky was falling twice in the same year EVERY year, even our somewhat dimwitted society would realize that where there's smoke in a movie set, there's a smoke machine rather than a fire.

The markets only went up due to central banks money printing - the economy has had no recovery since 2008. Once the ponzi scheme of central bank printing fails no amount of interference will get stocks back up. The welfare and social drain has exceeded what gov can produce in taxes. There will be an indefinite banking holiday once the economy goes.

Things are always worse than what is reported.

Why shall they mourn? Mocking is such an elementary breaking of the golden rule, it's really not that hard to understand. Study near death experiences - in particular study how those who mistreat others suffer by re-experiencing their mistreatment of others through the victim's perspective. This is a well-documented aspect to NDEs. Mockers shall mourn. You don't get to mock if you are on the "right" side of the argument. Australian airlines flying to Bali from Sydney are stopping over in Darwin (northern most city in Australia) to refuel just in case they have to turn back due to volcanic activity, adding a lot of extra cost to the flights just for a hoax.
