Poll: who wins 2016 election?

Post by thescott3000 »

Lately I've been thinking about what more needs to happen in order for "the cup of iniquity" to be full (D&C 101:11). D&C 87:7 says the blood of the saints will cry for vengence. I think the cup of iniquity is full when the saints are persecuted and killed (see Heber C Kimballs prophecy viewtopic.php?f=2&t=139" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, Elder Packer's talk "The Test", and President Monson's talk "Be strong and of good courage").

If Mitt Romney wins the election the media will rip him to shreds and promote hate every single day. The nation will hate mormons and violance may follow.

Mitt will provide global exposure for the church and people will have to decide if they are for or against religious liberty and the house of Israel.

If Hillary Clinton wins freedom of religion will continue to be dimished by the federal judges. Which will promote violance towards "the bigots" (those who support traditional marriage).

So, the question is: Who will be the next President that fits in best with Last Days prophecy?

My fear is that there won't be a next president, rather we'll be stuck with O and be under martial law.

The people of this country are the major concern. As large majority of our citizens have willingly embraced an Orwellian status quo. The outcome doesn't look good to me, unless the people grow a collective brain, and a proverbial backbone.

If I had to guess the realist winner of the next election. It will be Hillary. She will spend the next 1 1/2 years trying to distance herself from the current POTUS and then the media will call for her with enthusiasm. The people will swoon and Benghazi will be forgotten.

I actually think the unthinkable could happen, which WOULD result in the GAS vision coming to pass because TPTB wouldn't about to surrender the two party duopoly.

There is no poll option for third party.

I think another Dem wins in 2016. The balance of power has shifted, and the people want bread and circuses, not liberty. But I don't think Killary, the Benghazi Bitty, wins. I think she damaged herself beyond repair with the callous 'what difference at this point does it make?' rant....besides, she looks hideous, and while not relevant, I know, it is still true. It is almost like she is the living embodiment of someone's 'Dorian Gray' painting....

However, there are several others that will more than fit the bill for the continued destruction of the US. Fauxcahontas (Squqw Warren) of Massachusetts, Twinkletoes Emanuel from Chicago, and Prince Andrew Cuomo of NY could certainly finish off what Obozo has started/continued. And don't forget the LDGs will be there with money in their hands and directives on their lips to give these charlatans their 'great day of [their] power.'

Mosiah 29

27 And if the time comes

that the voice of the people

doth choose iniquity,

then is the time

that the judgments of God will come upon you;

yea, then is the time he will visit you with great destruction

even as he has hitherto visited this land.

If congress falls to the democrats in november (which I expect it will)
the OBAD will begin cutting THREAD BY THREAD of what is left and
within the following 24 months we'll see step by step the
beginnings of the second great civil war, overlapped by plague,
hunger and disaster.

Then who will be the man who bring things to order? I have a very
strong feeling it will be ....

I vote No Other. We won't recognize the political landscape then. My belief anyway.

The Bankers of course. They always win. The bankers might pick H. Clinton to "run" because, after Barry Soetaro, that person placed lowest in polls for who was esteemed by the people that live here. It would have to be someone who reads a teleprompter well and doesn't mind lying.

Anytime there is a government that is anarchist for the top down, in that it promotes destruction of constituted government by its flagrant disregard of the law, the outcome is not going to be good. The people are generally "disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable", but with the manipulations toward martial law, that may not be long. Who needs to pass gun laws to disarm a nation, when you can institute martial law/state of emergency, then just take them? Not that guns would save us. Only God can.

Good points here.

I agree that the bankers win. I also believe that the media wins. Also the Gadiantons, which are surely behind the scenes working for both said groups..... We live in a soundbite culture. They feed the public daily doses of ignorance. Who the media wants elected, is surely going to be a front runner. All they have to do is paint a pretty picture for the masses to eat up. And eat we will, as our citizens are hungry to believe in something. Even empty, self serving promises sound better if they are laced with love and acceptance and progressive change.......

That's exactly what I was going to say. Unfortunately.
Hey wild oats :D,

check this out:

Now God will not permit America, his base of operations, to be destroyed. He has promised protection to this land if we will but serve the God of the land. He has also promised protection to the righteous even, if necessary, to send down fire from heaven to destroy their enemies. (1 Nephi 22.)

As long as there is a constitution there will also be a president. The constitution will not be destroyed,
so there will be a president. I'm pretty sure who that president will be. It will be a good man, known to the
people endowed with great capabilities.

I voted "other republican". I think they'll want a republican in when TSHF so they can blame him, and not harm the long term leftward trend of politics.

I hope it will be so, but I'm afraid my hope isn't too strong. You see, we've already passed the point where the voice of the people chooses evil--look at the judges those we have elected have appointed and the assault on the family occurring right before our eyes. I used to think, "Well, not everybody has voted, so the voice of the people has not really spoken." But then I realized to not vote is to vote by default, or to hand one's vote directly to the wicked. God doesn't appreciate apathy. To be apathetic is to be lukewarm, which is neither hot nor cold. When we choose not to choose a side, a choice will be made for us, usually the choice we like to think we would not have made.

I personally feel that the protections mentioned in this talk were conditional. He mentioned a few key points that I liked.

How will we protect this base of operations?

We must protect this base of operations from every threat—from sin, from unrighteousness, immorality, from desecration of the Sabbath day, from lawlessness, from parental and juvenile delinquency.

We must protect it from dirty movies, filthy advertising, from salacious and suggestive TV programs, magazines, and books.

We must protect this base from idleness, subsidies, doles, and soft governmental paternalism which weakens initiative, discourages industry, destroys character, and demoralizes people.

We must protect this base from complacency—from the dangerous feeling that all is well—from being lulled away into a false security. We must protect this American base from the brainwashing, increasingly administered to our youth in many educational institutions across the land, by some misinformed instructors and some wolves in sheep's clothing. Their false indoctrination, often perpetrated behind the front of so-called academic freedom, is leaving behind many faithless students, socialist-oriented, who are easy subjects for state tyranny.

So now that we have largely failed at all of the conditional items that are listed above, how much longer can we expect The Lord to bolster this country? For me I believe that he will keep the country intact, but I'm thinking that's just about all we can hope for.

It says He promises His protection IF we serve Him (God). The word 'if' is totally conditional.

Obama gets assassinated in the summer of 2016. Clinton gets "elected" and will be President after Biden finishes out Obamas term. Martial law comes well before the end of Obamas term.

That is what I do get out of it as well.
"Now God will not permit America, his base of operations, to be destroyed."
= not to be destroyed to the point that nothing functions any more.

Now imagine the OBAD beeing destroyed before Nov. 5, 2016.
Chaos in the US.
No election.
No president left - Obama dead or fled(Europe).
Survivers fleeing to Utah or dispersed all over the US.
Demand for a new president.
Elections in Utah (+maybe a few other states that maintain order).
Who will be the new president?

Does Trump fit this? If so, why? Because he's good? Because he's screwing things up?
