FYI, Paul and Kucinich are great friends. When Kucinich was asked who he would have as his VP if nominated, he immediately said Ron Paul. Even Ron Paul wouldn't sign on to impeach Bush and Cheney when Kucinich asked him to be a co-signer.
Yes, Kucinich is quite different from Paul. Kucinich looks to the government to help solve issues. Why can they be friends? Both are men of principal and agree on some very cirtical issues like the Iraqi War, FED, PTB, etc.
And yes in a different time, the voters for the bailout would be considered traitors.
