I didn't watch all of it. One hour, and he's somewhat slow in his presentation, as well as pedant and conclusory, but from what I got of it, particularly at the end I agree with totally.
Billions of dollars for a false sense of security, and a tremendous loss of liberty as a result of false threats? Yes, the American people are basically rather stupid.
They are led by avaricious politicians and a nefarious media by the nose.
