I need your wisdom

I have a talk on loving your neighbour, family etc. What I'm wondering is in the scriptures it is prophesied that

Matt. 10: 21
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

It also talks about hearts growing cold.

While we have seen evidence of this already in everyday life. What if anything will or could happen that would cause something like this happening on a widespread scale. I am under the impression that this won't just be a general everday thing like it is now, but rather a significant change somewhere down the line.

Things that could cause something like this happening on a widespread scale include:

1.) an attempt to return the US government to the principles of government of our original constitutional republic, and on a worldwide scale, introduction of these principles in other lands, as prophesied.

2.) breakdowns of food and fuel distribution and services such as el-power, water, sanitation, transportation, etc.

3.) elimination of middle class life and increase of abject poverty

It may not be as "wide spread" or obvious as we might think. When GBH said the prophecy of the moon turning to blood had already been fulfilled I was caught off gaurd.

I mean sometimes when the moon is low it lookss blood red, but I don't know if that is what he meant or if it is some other reason.

My point is, we should be ever watchful and never think because not everyone recognizes it, doesn't mean it hasn't already happened.

Bridgey, are you sure your talk assignment includes anything more than how to (learn to) love thy neighbor? That's sometimes a chore in itself.

MYSTICAL JOURNEY



Children identify with our fears

Thanks for all your input. It has helped. I especially liked the comment about learning to love your neighbour as a critical angle of my talk. It is after all what we are aiming for.

As for GBH announcement re: moon turning to blood already happening. I'm not so sure. when I read the whole talk i wonder if he was only talking about part of those verses vs the whole lot?? In saying that, I was driving home a few years ago and thought to myself, the moon looks blood like in colour. So I really don't know. But I would have thought the fulfillment would have been more significant, like on the news, scientist trying to explain it away , etc. Interesting all the same.

I don't see how you could come to that conclusion. He said the Prophecy of Joel has been fulfilled wherein he said...

If it was only parts, wouldn't he just say the parts that were fulfilled instead of reading the whole thing? That would be too confusing to have to distinguish, and Satan is the author of confusion. It seems to me, what he said was pretty clear.

In David Ridges book 50 signs of the times and second coming he quotes the prophet as having stated it is fulfilled.

He said that he doesn't know how, but takes the prophets word for it.
