This brother is from my stake. He has been doing humanitarian aid work for the indigenous peoples of Bolivia. It seems the government was opposed to the work they were doing and Brother Estrada has been detained as a political prisoner for about 4 months now. If you can donate any money, and definitely prayers, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

i'm so sorry to gear about that. South American countries are not so good. They need new leaders.butterfly wrote: ↑October 16th, 2017, 8:16 pm https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A ... OxR50fgfts

What actions are being taken by your stake president or Brother Estrada's bishop? If you don't mind me asking the obvious questions, have the US State Department and Brother Estrada's US congressman been contacted? If he didn't break any laws in Bolivia, he should get some help from the US embassy to get out of jail quickly. The congressman could easily place a call to the State Dept. and the State Dept to the Ambassador in Bolivia.butterfly wrote: ↑October 16th, 2017, 8:16 pm https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A ... I will pass this info on to his wife. I know Brother Estrada is a U.S. citizen but beyond that, I don't know which avenues they have already tried. I just found out this weekend about his situation so I don't know too many details yet. Thanks for the ideas, I'll make sure to forward them.Silver wrote: ↑October 16th, 2017, 8:37 pmWhat actions are being taken by your stake president or Brother Estrada's bishop?
