The vision of the stake is as follows:Pray Zion means to pray as if Zion already exists in our lives. We should imagine that we are currently a Zion individual, family, neighborhood and community to bring it about. Express gratitude to God as if Zion is here and now. We must visualize it and feel it with an eye and heart of faith. Many "...saw with their eyes the things which they had beheld with an eye of faith..." (Ether 12:19) “For as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7) If we cannot imagine and feel the Zion condition in our minds and hearts we will never attain to that state of being.
The Lord created all things spiritually before they took natural form on the earth. (Moses 3:5) It is the same principle for each of us. Let us as a people join our faith and prayers and pray Zion into our stake. Continue to pray to be directed by the Holy Ghost and He will guide you to a residence in Zion.
The stake had a dedicatory prayer to dedicate the stake to this vision:Vision, Invitation and Vision Board
And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them. (Moses 7:18)
On December 8th, 2016, the Lord revealed in a morning vision the future and destiny of God’s children in the Mesa Arizona North Stake. Through additional revelations, the vision has emerged with greater clarity. A vision where thousands of children of God enter the waters of baptism, of members loving and sacrificing to serve one another, of the poor having plenty, of neighbors helping neighbors, of the lost and lonely being found and rescued, of an outpouring of healings and miracles that follow true believers, of a love for God and man that is so grand and so real that all seek and praise the Savior Jesus Christ, of a profound seeking within every heart to become a society of believers that are prepared to be united with Enoch’s Zion.
As followers of Christ, we have the opportunity to bring into fulfillment the designs of the Lord by humbly participating in this great undertaking. We are in the winding-up scenes of the last days and our stake will become a “defense and a refuge” from the storms that will come.
As stake and ward leaders, we feel impressed to invite each member to pray individually and as families each day to obtain the power and direction of the Holy Ghost, to discover what is needed in your life to come closer to Jesus Christ and then to act on these promptings.
We also invite you to fast with us as a Stake on February 5th to invite the Holy Ghost to be your constant companion and guide.
We promise, in Christ’s name, that as you begin to pray and fast for the Holy Ghost in your life, your eyes and hearts will open to the will and power of God, you will experience and recognize his hand in all things and you will feel the strength and courage to walk with God and to serve His children. May our Father bless us in this great cause, and may we arrive securely in Zion as one people, with one heart, and one mind, and one great purpose; to all be filled with the love of God.

Oh God, Lord and King over heaven and earth, we humbly approach Thy throne, having prayed and fasted as one for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. We lift up our hearts and voices as one in praise and adoration to Thee and Thy Holy Son, Jesus Christ, who was lifted up, that we might also be lifted up and redeemed in Thy kingdom. We recognize our unworthiness before Thee, yet we know that Thou art merciful and kind and willing to forgive and heal our hearts and minds through the blood of the Lamb. Help Thou our unbelief and Increase our faith in Christ and our hope in a glorious resurrection. Pour out the Holy Ghost that it may touch the eyes of our understanding and our hearts and bring us to an awareness of our fallen condition and the need for Thy redemption.
We dedicate ourselves to give our all to build and establish Zion in the Mesa North Stake and to seek the Holy Spirit as our guide, that we may become Holy and enter into the rest of the Lord. We dedicate our area that it may be fruitful in gathering in every living soul to worship and follow Thee in truth and light. We pray that the Holy Ghost may work upon the minds and hearts of all people within the stake area so that they may be prepared to receive truth. We pray that we may have opportunity to share our testimonies and faith in their lives to bring them to Christ. We pray that Thou will increase our desire to put aside the things of the world and seek the kingdom of God.
There are many here today whose hearts are heavy with the burdens and cares of this life, with emotional, physical and spiritual pain and illnesses which are terribly hard to bear, and with temptations and addictions that fill their lives with tragedy and suffering. There are those who question the very existence of God or may struggle with questions of faith and testimony. There are those who are and have been afflicted with abuses and offenses of every kind. Hear Thy servant’s voice Oh God, and pour out the Holy Ghost and fill us with faith in Christ, that all those who have prepared their hearts and minds in prayer and fasting may see the salvation of God and may be delivered by an increase in strength to overcome or the complete removal of their affliction. We know that all things are possible with Thee. Bless each one that they may hear Thy voice and that their prayers may be answered and faith increased. May all be healed in spirit so that they may feel the Love of the Lord in their hearts. May Satan be restrained and thwarted in his attempts to make us his and may we be more aware of his methods to enslave us so that we might resist with Thy help. May angels gather round about us to protect and guide us in this great work. May thy hand be manifest in each life over the coming months and may we glory in Thy goodness and mercy. Bless us with the realization of Zion in our person, our families and in our Stake that we may walk and commune with Thee.
We thank Thee for every kindness and blessing and give praise, honor and glory to Thee and Thy Son Jesus Christ, in His Holy Name.
