You forgot to put a comma after "grammar."

The Oxford comma is commonly left out of sentences with a series of three or more terms, especially by Americans.

A list is not the only the thing calls for a comma.

No one is forcing anyone else to read posts that annoy them.

We are here to share ideas, not please our High School English teacher.

Commas are also needed to set off parenthetical elements, like "including spelling and grammar."

I'm an American. I'll give it a shot:

One does not know there are mistakes before reading, therefore that comment is ridiculous.
"Even with the help of spell check?" is not a question. Where is the main clause?

There is no need to capitalize high school. Neither is a proper noun. ;) :p
If you'd known my high school English teacher............yikes!!!!

I think we're just having fun. (They weren't all flippant. You really did use a sentence fragment.)
My son has dyslexia. He is very intelligent, but he will never be able to spell.
He will go through his life being judged/criticized by people for it. It makes me sad that we can't just accept people as they are.
I notice the misspellings, but they don't bother me so much, now that I see what he goes through.

You forgot some commas. The problem is that the kettle is calling the pots black.

Ever since the fall of the Tower of Babel, language has continued to change from generation to generation. What we call "proper English" would sound very strange to speakers of the language from a couple of centuries back. Our language is truly confounded and will remain such until the languages become one again. One could find it beneficial to study to proper execution of English (or one's own native tongue) but I see no benefit in being critical of others use of the language.

methinks
Syllabification: me·thinks

Definition of methinks in English:

It seems to me:
life has been rather hard on her, methinks
[WITH CLAUSE]: methought you knew all about it
