Hey! I got a question For Brian.

Can the composing page be made to recognize extra spaces or tabs? If so multiple dots wouldn't have to be. Presently, when composing a list of items and corresponding numbers, once submitted, there is no separation.

Example:

Oregon Ducks........................20
Oregon Ducks20 Tabs or extra spaces between Ducks and 20 would be useful here. That way, dots wouldn't have to be used to separate them. Now what I mean, Verne?

Am I the only one that thinks this is a good idea?

I kindly ask why my question was not addressed. Also, I believe it is a valid question. I can handle a yes, no or why not, nevertheless, silence brings no resolution.

I posed my question to Brian because he is the only one that can do anything about it, (to my knowledge).

Thank you

FF

FF, you might want to email or message Brian directly - he doesn't read every section of the forum and probably missed your question.

I agree with you though, good idea!

The thing about extra spaces / tabs, I don't think so.

I think in the PM you asked also about lists? maybe not, but there is supposed to be a way:
  • 1 item
  • 2 item
  • 3 item
  • 4 item
  • 5 item
  • 6 item
With most forum software, to keep things simple, rather than having a full visual editor like in Microsoft Word, there are only a limited amount of formatting/styling options available. I like it that way, though for some there is a learning curve in regards to knowing how to use it (it's called BBCode).

Here's a link that might be helpful, a "bbcode guide".
