The US Federal Govt. requires 2 billion dollars of new loans from foreign investment...every day (4 billion total, 2 billion from domestic investors 2 billion overseas). All China has to do is lend us money a little slower. They don't even have to dump the dollar. But if they were to do that, I don't think anyone knows how bad it would get, besides very bad. If I were a foreign country hostile to the US, slowly accumulating a lot of US currency and then dumping it all at once would probably be a pretty good strategy.

Exactly what they have been doing too! Interesting eh!
From the article:
"What if China decides that it should diversify its risk by buying Euro debt? Or Japan or Russia? That day may come sooner than we think."
Anybody seen this lately?
Why is it that nobody gets WHY everyone is bailing globally on the dollar and more importantly U.S. Treasury notes? The notes are secure if we are, so when everyone globally is selling off, what should that tell us? The above article is a gem in explaining the situation.
