President Monson in his prime - Wow!!!

Yesterday I saw this video of then-Elder Monson addressing BYU in 1977. That was 41 years ago. He must have been nearly 50 at the time.

I was blown away by his vitality and delivery. For 45 minutes he spoke without script, giving wonderful inspired messages to the audience, while looking all around at them. Just amazing. I've never seen such rapid-fire Heavenly inspiration. I joined the church 19 years ago and always knew Monson as a rather docile figure. This is just so impressive to me:
