No need to comment, just take the poll. I want to avoid any arguments.

I'm gonna take this opportunity to suggest that those who espouse the principles of the US Constitution in the tradition of the Founding Fathers would do well checking out the Constitution Party.

Constitutional or Independent in my heart, Republican for practical purposes, because, really, when was the last time a third party won in Utah? You have to be in the party in order to have some voice in the caucus system and to try to get good candidates in the primaries; you can't do it from the outside. Though I am tempted every year to jump ship, as the GOP seems to be a lost cause. Maybe 2018 will be the year for me.

Unaffiliated. No party. I used to be Independent. I might have been a Republican before that. It's all a lost cause. You all can have Babylon and vote in the sham elections and participate in the sham process. I did vote Constitution Party in the last election, though, but that's as far as I get.

Republican so I can vote and try to influence the primaries. After that I've voted for a lot of third party candidates over the years.

We don't have those in the UK.
Nearest equivalent:

Republican = Conservative Party
Democrat = Labour Party

That's a very simplified comparison, but is reasonably accurate.

We also have the Liberal Democratic Party, the UK Independence Party etc.

I don't vote.

There exists in Arizona an organization called the Arizona Republican Assembly. It is my understanding (from efforts to gain my support and participation) that the members have been and are still trying to get the Arizona Republican Party to support the principles of the US Constitution, as opposed to the much more liberal/socialist/big government planks that most Republicans adhere to. Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake are probably the best/worst examples of what the Arizona Republican Party has to offer, so there is no wonder in my mind why the ARA came into being. The ARA members & supporters of my acquaintance are sincere supporters of the principles of the US Constitution. They would make good, ideal members of the Constitution Party and I have tried for some years to convince a few of them to join and support the AZCP. But not one of them, to my knowledge, has done so. They remain determined to "fix" the Republican Party from within - and are getting nowhere. What this tells me is that Republican Parties have long since departed from any real concern for upholding the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights, and the values and founding principles that our nation was originally built upon. Most Republican voters have become so enamoured with the various principles (perks) of socialism and big government that they can best be described as RINOs. For that reason I believe that not until after the cleansing of America will we be able to get back to the inspired formula of the original Constitution. In the meantime, we can and should prepare for that day and encourage people to learn the principles of the Constitution (in the tradition of the Founding Fathers, as President Benson advised in Oct. 1987) and start upholding and abiding by them.

I don’t like labels so I don’t label myself. But I would vote for anyone that is a good honest wise constitutional person regardless of party affiliation.

Labels are problematic unto pernicious. Principles are the point, not people or parties.
