Medical professionals, like a my former doctor and MD I went to, can also be trained in EH. And he isn't the only one. Nurses and Physical Therapists have also been known to be EH practitioners, as well as clinical social workers and psychologists. I had EH from my doctor, and no hokey religious nonsense was used on me. If I had seen a picture of Jesus on the wall of his office, or a Carol Tuttle book on his desk, I would not have consented to treatments.

Finding an EH practitioner who is the licensed medical professional Elder Ballard wants us to all go to is not impossible by any means.

RET was actually invented in Japan, and has been used there successfully for decades now by licensed University educated and trained psychologists. They of course attribute no religious "calling" or "gifts" to its use, just proper training, and no one would say that any kind of faith or Priesthood healing was just another way of doing this same thing. Neither would I. No way.

Yes I would say it is ABOUT TIME the church said something about the EH who claims to call down Jesus Himself to heal you personally and then charges a near fortune for it. Or who, out of their own need for self validation and self flattery, claim some special gift or calling from God.

EH, IMO, needs to be more professionalized and taken out of any sort of religious or supernatural context and placed into a purely scientific one. Then we could see what it was really worth, where it could be effectively applied, and get some real use out of it.

Also, and IMO, the same could be said for the medical profession. Somehow this profession has been nearly deified, MD's are really not all knowing God like beings, but just regular guys who put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us. They can forget things, botch surgeries, misdiagnose, and just plain really harm you, as well. This profession has an upper class status that is rarely really deserved.

Seek the Truth wrote: October 1st, 2017, 11:29 pm This is funny. People say all kinds of things but when they get sick they go to the doctor. If the doctor can't help them they turn to energy healers.

Every single time.
I find it to be true that most clients of the typical so-called Christ centered EH are seeing them for strictly emotional or psychological reasons( hence the popularity of Emotion Code), not because they have cancer or something. I would say the next most common reason would be headaches and other unresolved issues with pain. but nothing life threatening. It would be my opinion that if someone really did have a more serious illness, they should combine the EH with seeing a Doctor.

I know of a married couple who are both Naturopaths ( meaning they are both licensed medical practitioners in accordance with the laws in the state of Utah ) who practice EFT and some other form of EH, and someone I know who was one of their clients said he overcame his porn addiction through them. Apparently, helping patients to overcome porn addiction is the basis of their whole practice and by all accounts, they are very successful. I didn't hear they made any religious or spiritual claims concerning what they did, though. I sure hope not.

JohnnyL wrote: October 2nd, 2017, 10:18 am Hmmm... "promise a miraculous healing." Someone show me, out of the hundreds of thousands of energy healers on the internet, where that is. Can't?
Then it seems pretty obvious that he wasn't talking about energy healers. :)
Here's just one such example...

http://julieroweprepare.com/what-is-an-energy-session/
What is an Energy Session?

I’ve had several people email me and ask about energy sessions and what they are.
Simply put, they are twenty to forty minute sessions that include working together to release trapped emotions and other negative energy which inflict the body.

There are several reasons people get sick, and several reasons people suffer in general. Energy sessions are an amazing way to release negative energy and free the mind, body and spirit of adverse energy that gets trapped causing everything from health issues to relationship issues to abundance issues.

As many of you know, I have suffered from EBV and Lyme disease for many years, as well as from several autoimmune diseases. Were it not for this work, I would not be alive. It has saved my life more times than I can tell you and I have a strong testimony of the power of this work.

All true healing comes through the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Not all energy work is of the light, so it is important to know who is working on you and it is important that you trust their knowledge and intentions.

In an effort to help as many as I can in their healing – whether that be mental, emotional, physical or spiritual – I am offering these sessions for those who would like to learn more. Equal energy exchange is important in facilitating healing and growth. This work requires faith and a desire to learn. It goes hand in hand with gospel principals when done correctly and with pure intention. When done incorrectly and with ill intention it can cause problems. Energy is all around us. Everything is energy. Energy knows no bounds. So although I live in Kansas, I can work with anyone in the world, where ever they are.

I have worked with people all over the United States, in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East.

Using the gifts the Lord has given me I work to help others see more clearly, release negative emotions and energy that is causing them pain or anguish, and restore vitality. We release false beliefs and replace them with truth, and we release negative energy and replace it with light energy.

We balance Meridians, clear energy that is imbalanced, and work on heart walls and connections. Healing the heart is a primary goal as it affects everything we do individually and collectively.

The easiest way for me to explain what this is really like is for someone to have a session.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more, schedule a session.

The first session is a forty minute session and the cost is minimal. In an effort to make this affordable for everyone, I am only charging $65 and proceeds will go to GTRF to help pay for food, clothing, hygiene kits and other supplies that we are stocking at our Safe Houses across the country.

While I appreciate everyone’s interest, I apologize that I just do not have time to reply to each and every email and question. My inbox has been flooded tonight with inquiries and requests so I will do the best I can to respond in a timely manner, but if you do not hear back from me please do not take it personally. I can only schedule a fraction of the people who are asking for help but I will do my best with my already very full schedule. I feel that strongly about this work and about GTRF and our mission.

Time is of the essence.

Lots of love to you and yours…

Julie
Sounds pretty miraculous to me... all for the low, low price of $65 per session.
Where's the promise? That's a whole lot of empty red (herring) there!
Are you serious? Or are you playing some kind of game with me? I assume you are not being serious and instead are trying to play some kind of word game with me. I'm not interested in playing word games with you. A person doesn't need to say "I promise you" to make a promise. The word 'promise' doesn't even need to be present for a promise to be made. Yet you don't need me to explain this to you because you already know it and are simply feigning ignorance of what a promise truly is.

PROM'ISE, v.t. To make a declaration to another, which binds the promiser in honor, conscience or law, to do or forbear some act; as, to promise a visit to a friend; to promise a cessation of hostilities; to promise the payment of money.

1. To afford reason to expect; as, the year promises a good harvest.

2. To make declaration or give assurance of some benefit to be conferred; to pledge or engage to bestow.
The proprietors promised large tracts of land.

PROM'ISE, v.i. To assure one by a promise or binding declaration. The man promises fair; let us forgive him.
1. To afford hopes or expectations; to give ground to expect good. The youth promises to be an eminent man; the wheat promises to be a good crop; the weather promises to be pleasant.

So let me spell it out clearly for you. What is Julie Rowe, one "out of the hundreds of thousands of energy healers on the internet," promising (or in other words assuring strong confidence in, giving reason to expect, or affording hope) to her readers? Let's list some:
  • "To release trapped emotions." She can help people "in their [emotional] healing."
  • "To release... other negative energy which inflict the body."
  • "Energy sessions are an amazing" experience.
  • To "free the mind... of adverse energy" She can help people "in their [mental] healing."
  • To "free the... body of adverse energy." She can help people "in their [physical] healing."
  • To "free the... spirit of adverse energy." She can help people "in their [spiritual] healing."
  • To have good health because the above negative and "adverse energ(ies)" are no longer "trapped."
  • To have good relationships because the above negative and "adverse energ(ies)" are no longer "trapped."
  • To have good wealth and "abundance" because the above negative and "adverse energ(ies)" are no longer "trapped."
  • To be cured from "EBV," just as Julie was.
  • To be cured from "Lyme disease," just as Julie was.
  • To be cured from "several autoimmune diseases," just as Julie was.
  • It has the potential to save and extend lives, just as it has for Julie.
  • There is great "power" in "this work," and I could be a part of it just like Julie.
  • Her energy "healing comes through the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ."
  • Her "energy work is of the light."
  • Her "knowledge and intentions" are good, and therefore she is trustworthy.
  • Her energy work is "facilitating healing and growth."
  • Her energy "work requires faith" and therefore she is a faith filled (or faithful) woman.
  • Her particular brand of energy healing "goes hand in hand with gospel principals."
  • Her particular brand of energy healing is "done correctly and with pure intention."
  • Her particular brand of "Energy (healing) knows no bounds."
  • Her energy work is so miraculous that she doesn't need to see you, touch you, or even be in your presence to heal you. She "can work with anyone in the world, where ever they are."
  • Her "gifts" come from "the Lord."
  • She can "help others see more clearly."
  • She can "help others... release negative emotions."
  • She can "help others... release negative... energy."
  • She can help relieve "pain or anguish."
  • She can help "restore vitality."
  • She can help "release false beliefs and replace them with truth."
  • She is able to "release negative energy and replace it with light energy."
  • Julie can "balance Meridians."
  • She knows how to "clear energy that is imbalanced."
  • She is able to "work on heart walls and connections." (suggesting to me that she can help people grow, increase, and fall in love with each other)
  • "Healing the heart is a primary goal" of her energy work. She can therefore heal and mend broken hearts.
  • Her energy work "affects everything we do individually and collectively."
  • Each energy healing session with her will be "twenty to forty minute sessions." However, your "first session is a forty minute session and the cost is minimal."
  • She is "only charging $65 and proceeds will go to GTRF to help pay for food, clothing, hygiene kits and other supplies that we are stocking at our Safe Houses across the country.
Please note that these are simply the reasonable expectations, hopes, and assurances that I, an average person, gets from reading her description of energy healing. Therefore these are the 'promises' she assures me of receiving for participating in one (or more) of her energy healing sessions. If you seriously do not believe these are promises she is making to the reader of her advert then you are being willfully ignorant and I cannot help you. Only to echo the words of Peter to all the energy healers out there and say:

"Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity."
In other words, you still haven't found one, huh? :))

What are the promises of a vaccination? operation? radiation? chemotherapy? I could go on and on. Please explain the difference between the "promises".

I imagine $65 is also, in your interpretation, "expensive?" How much does your doctor visit (5 minutes?) cost? And he tells you to take two and don't call him in the morning? Now THAT's more like "expensive!" And as an extra, they donate how much of that to humanitarian work?

I imagine you read that last part to your doctor, dentist, counselor, plumber, car mechanic, etc., too?
