He needs to learn a lot of things. OTEC can neutralize hurricanes for one.

Re: Ted Cruz needs to learn the basics of computers
I would disagree. The simplest and most likely explanation is that he or his staff did it--and knowing the dynamics of most Senate offices its most likely that his staff accidentally did it. Its extremely easy to work with Twitter to figure out what device and IP that came from and very risky to hack into a Senator's twitter and do that--and only that. If they say its hacking and they know it isn't, they are on very shaky legal ground because they would be falsely reporting a serious crime.
Things to look for would include how many people have, in the past, had access to his Twitter feed. If multiple people do, if it isn't Ted they will know who did it probably by the end of the day. Many congressmen delegate their Twitter to one or more staff people, but most of them are also pretty up front about that. Look at how Orrin Hatch uses his, for instance.
Also, if they insinuate its hacking, look for how aggressively they pursue that charge--does the way they describe it make it a crime (likely they are telling the truth about hacking) or do they describe it as something else. Are they working with the FBI or Capitol Police?
If it wasn't Ted, he could work with Twitter to publish the details of where that came from to prove his innocence.
Bottom line is, if they want us to know who did it, that's easy to do. If it was Ted, they will pretend that its just too much of a hassle, maybe throw someone under the bus with no proof and move on.

It is no big deal except it is ironic. I have always suspected if you look at the hard drives of the legislators who make the biggest fuss about porn you would probably find ample amounts of porn. If it was Ted Cruz he should just let the story die. Most people in America really do not care.

His explanations certainly make it worse. A "staffer" "accidentally" liked the video... at midnight.....Fiannan wrote: ↑September 12th, 2017, 12:09 pm It is no big deal except it is ironic. Agreed. Best to either ignore it and let the story fade away or laugh it off. Bill Clinton would have made a joke out of it, everyone would have laughed, and people would have actually liked him even more.SmallFarm wrote: ↑September 14th, 2017, 6:02 pmHis explanations certainly make it worse.
