American soldiers waking up to the bogus 'war on terror'

Thank you for that Col. I have a son home from Iraq on leave this month and I will watch this with him. He's only been in the Army less than a yr and hasn't completed his full tour yet. He is a mercenary...to be blunt.
I have taught him all I know about the corruption of this corporate govt. and he always planned on a mission but he let a girl break him and then she dumped him and he ran to the nearest place to save some face and get quick "respect". He loves getting attention for his uniform wherever he goes and that he gets instant respect even though he hasn't earned a darned thing. He hasn't even seen a darned thing.
He wanted money and respect quickly. That's a mercenary. I think he is now starting to wake up because of the talk of other soldiers with more experience all around him. That and not getting payed for 3 weeks drove home my words..."Your govt. does NOT care about you!" They don't care about anything but profits and control. They like him and keep tempting him to stay in with promotions and offering higher positions and special ops stuff. I just keep praying he'll get out before he is ruined. He is still very impressed with every little award they give him, he is so hungry for praise and attention. I just don't know what to do except keep praying and showing him things like this so, it will ring in his ears LOUDLY when he is asked or tempted to do something completely wrong. God help him.

The account at the end of the vid about the Iraqi telling the soldier 'It's OK,' after the soldier apologized, was very touching. It reminded me of a great article I read recently. I posted it here:

I was moved to tears while watching this video. I went a prayed immediately after watching this and had these thoughts during my prayer that peace can be brought to the Earth.

What I watched in this video was a small example of people repenting of their evil and making a covenant to bury their weapons of war for peace just as the Anti Lehi Nephi's did in ancient times. They abhor the shedding of blood just as the Anti Nephi Lehi's did. These soldiers have gone through war and know first hand the evils of war. Only they understand first hand what war is like, thus softening their hearts to covenant to never shed blood again. In 3rd Nephi 6 we read how the Anti Nephi Lehi's were the few true believers of the Savior Jesus Christ left at that time in BOM history.

Oh how I pray that more of us can wake up to the evils of war and become peaceable followers of the Savior Jesus Christ. Oh how I pray.....................

I'm with you on that one, vision. It gave me peace to know there are those not willing to turn their guns on us, "extremist" citizens that the government calls out as dangerous. Hopefully more will wake up.

Does your son know the truth about 9/11? I know of so many people who joined the military just because of what happened on that day, but it was one big fraud on the public designed to achieve many ulterior motives, most of which has to do with the enrichment of the military-industrial complex.

Amen! Problem is, war is big business and a racket - in the 9/11 documentary I produced, there is a section that discusses the cozy relationship and revolving doors between corporations that constitute the military-industrial complex and Washington, DC politicos - one fellow being interviewed says "Last year profits for defense companies increased in the U.S. by an average of 25% - I guarantee you when war becomes that profitable, you are going to see more of it". We are treading down the same exact path of the old Roman Empire and are about at the end of the line and we know what happened to the old Roman Empire.

Yes I have. He is only 20 so he was only 10 when it happened. We have been talking about the realities since 2005 when I was shown the truth. Hence my severe disappointment. He KNOWS the truth but is being an outright mercenary.
He also knows the gospel is true yet, ran away from a mission because God did not spare him the pain of losing the "girl he was going to marry". Ugghh, kids can really break your heart. But he's still alive and there is still hope.

Great video. My biggest beef with these anti-war movements is with the approach that blaims our president to the war, and ending the rest of the wars. While they certainly have a large part of responsibility, it is a necessity to understand our congress must take control of the situation. When the majority of our congress isn't concerned with our military presence throughout the world, whether we entered those nations under legitimate reasons or NOT, then why should the president care?

At least he knows the truth and all you can hope for as a parent is that he comes around, but don't give up on him - keep trying to be an example and make sure he knows you love him unconditionally and more than anything, keep making a concerted effort to remain in touch with him. No problem - I honestly don't see how some of our soldiers can pound their chests like warriors or as if they've just bagged their first elk of the season when killing innocent people? I wonder just how many of our guys recognize the true reason they are in Iraq or Afghanistan and/or what really took place on September 11, 2001? I would think that if all of them were exposed to the truth, there would be a mutiny on a scale you can't even imagine.

No problem - I honestly don't see how some of our soldiers can pound their chests like warriors or as if they've just bagged their first elk of the season when killing innocent people? I wonder just how many of our guys recognize the true reason they are in Iraq or Afghanistan and/or what really took place on September 11, 2001? I would think that if all of them were exposed to the truth, there would be a mutiny on a scale you can't even imagine.

Yeah just like when Amalikiah killed the king. Then when the people showed up and asked "what happened" Amalikiah said, "it was the Kings servants that killed him" So in their patriot fervor they go running after the kings servants thinking they were the killers. We see the same thing in our day.

I was referring to the suggested videos on the right side of the youtube page/link that col posted. I checked out a few of them, then it always suggests more videos of a similar theme. Browse a little and you'll find 'em.
