Research has shown that helium 4 gas release has been a precursor to major eruptions at other volcanos in the past. :-sYellowstone National Park releases a variety of gases every day. These gases range from carbon dioxide to methane and according to scientists, helium. Although helium is a gas that is commonly leaked from volcanic rocks, scientists have discovered that the helium they have found is millions of years old and is just now being released from rocks that are deep below Yellowstone’s surface.
Scientists believe that the helium is slipping out of rocks that were formed during the Archaean eon, about 2.5 billion years ago. These rocks contain minerals and heavy elements that have slowly decayed over time and allowed helium to build up underneath the surface.
Bill Evans, a researcher with the USGS in Menlo Park, California, explained how the helium is released,
“Volcanoes most always form on the edges of tectonic plates that make up the Earth’s crust. But Yellowstone sits directly over the middle of a plate,” he said. “It’s a part of the crust that formed a very long time ago, billions of years ago, and it’s basically been stable since that time. They’ve had this boring, peaceful existence and now suddenly they’re put on the front burner.”
He went on to explain how important the helium discovery is to scientists and why they need to study it more saying, “It’s kind of an interesting thought to us, how these rocks behave, because it’s very rare on the face of the Earth to have [volcanism] come into rocks that have been that stable for that long.”
Scientists plan to study the helium and the rocks that are releasing it to determine what exactly is happening and why the helium is being released.
The super volcano that is situated below Yellowstone is due to erupt and many people are wondering when it will happen. Scientists have assured nearby residents that before it erupts, it will start to show signs and give off signals that an eruption will occur. Many are wondering if the recent leak of helium could be one of these signs.
Do you think the helium leaks could be a sign that a volcanic eruption will occur soon?

Glad I've already gone to Yellowstone to see it. I'm sure that this isn't something that will happen tomorrow, but that place is one of the prettiest places on the earth. One day it will be gone (tomorrow, next month, 10,000 years from now?) and the world will be a little drabber...

When it blows, if it's a super-eruption, the initial explosion would be powerful enough to be heard around the world and everything within 100 miles would be completely obliterated while ash 4-6 feet deep will cover everything within a 500 mile radius. By comparison, if the volcano were situated in Utah County and it blew, there would be nothing left clear up to Logan north, Wendover west, Fillmore south and Vernal east. That... is some serious energy.

Trust me, when you see the conferring of the Covenant (in the next seven years at most) upon the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, know we will have seven years to the six seal earthquake. This will be the greatest earthquake never know since man has been upon this planet. It is prophesied to divide the Mount of Olives, destroy Rome, remove all mountains and make all lands smooth. The Island of the Sea will be moved out of there place. This was just off the top of my head, so do not hold me to the exact wording...

What is the conferring of the covenant? What is the significance of this covenant?

At a favorable time I have answered you;
in the day of salvation I have come to your aid:
I have created you and appointed you
to be a covenant of the people,
to restore the Land and reapportion the desolate estates,
The Servant being a symbol of Christ being the mediator of the everlasting covenant, the ancient covenant.

Actually, it is when the anti-Christ confirms a peace deal for seven years with Israel and the Arab. Most likely it is the reconfirming of the Abrahamic Covenant that this land is Israel's. The peace will only last for 3 1/2 years, the Third Temple will however be built by then. He the anti-Christ will then stand in the Holy Place (the Holy of Holies) and proclaim himself G_d or the Messiah. He will stop the daily Sacrifices, and set up the Abomination of Desolation, that will end in the War of Armageddon 3 1/2 years later.

Yes, but what about all the other supervolcanoes? Aren't there at least five on Earth? Maybe Yellowstone is the biggest, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't worry about all the others no one is talking about.
Are there helium 4 gas emissions in New Zealand, too? Does anyone know where we can look this information up?

If everyone starts talking in a high pitched voice, would that be a sign to evacuate?

1 BUT, behold, in the last days, or in the days of the Gentiles—yea, behold all the nations of the Gentiles and also the Jews, both those who shall come upon this land and those who shall be upon other lands, yea, even upon all the lands of the earth, behold, they will be drunken with iniquity and all manner of abominations—
2 And when that day shall come they shall be visited of the Lord of Hosts, with thunder and with earthquake, and with a great noise, and with storm, and with tempest, and with the flame of devouring fire.
