Man, those prophecies of Joseph's just keep getting more and more possible by the day don't they? :-s X(A news report has been quietly making its way around the alternative media, under the radar screen, concerning a Delaware legal decision to strip county sheriffs of their arrest powers in the state.
The mainstream media has not reported the story, but the son of Vice President Joe Biden, who serves as Attorney General for the state of Delaware, has issued a mandate to county commissioners informing them that sheriffs in the state's three counties no longer have arrest powers.
When the information reached this reporter late yesterday evening, further investigation revealed that there is a nationwide effort to strip local sheriffs of most of their enumerated powers that are mandated in the state constitutions of the various states.

Okay Col, bursting my bubble again, are you? This just gets sadder and sadder...knowing what our (used to be) great country has become, how uneducated and/or apathetic the populace is. I just want to go around shaking people and say "Wake UP!!"

Which prophecies are you referring to Col? And that is sad. Concentration of power in a centralized authority brings us more and more into captivity.

He prophesied that there would be an attempt by the federal government to confiscate our guns and that the next great civil war in this nation would commence in Chicago after the guns had been taken away and after a major de-valuation of the U.S. dollar. All three of those are on the radar screen right now.samizdat wrote:Which prophecies are you referring to Col? And that is sad. In agreement there. Mexican drug cartels are fighting over turf in Chicago even as we speak. Feinstein sent in her bill recently. Dollar is still running at 12.50 Mexican pesos, but is losing ground against gold and silver (I see that because the peso versus the dollar has been running stable, but silver and gold coins here continue to rise). The only thing that we would need to see is a mass exodus from the dollar to complete the devaluation.
Here in Mexico, we are selling our dollar reserves, or at least the central bank has allowed the dollar reserves to slowly get away, after building up dollar reserves for the last ten years. Perhaps they are preparing for this eventuality and shielding themselves from the damage.

Can someone help me by pointing me to the prophecy/ies referenced above? I have not had the chance to read them and would love to do so.Col. Re: Feds moving to strip local Sheriffs of arrest powers
So, I did a little looking into this....
The article cited is is dated April 2012. There is a link within the article to a source for the info. That also is dated the same month. When I googled 'Sheriff Jeff Christopher' there are many alternative media sources reporting about his story with headlines like this:
'AG strips sheriff of arrest powers.'
Something to that effect.
But, what I did not know....is that Delaware's sheriffs have had no arrest powers for quite some time; at least as of 2002, when one of the sheriffs made an attempt to 'increase' his powers.
The reason Christopher was in the headlines is b/c he (and rightly so) took the State constitution at its words ('conservator of the peace') and began allowing his deputies to make traffic stops and arrests, but according to complaints and state officials, his deputies weren't 'trained' in this capacity and were 'messing up' police investigations (and, mostly likey, the state just wants to keep the status quo). It is interesting to note that the sheriffs of the other 2 counties have not joined Christopher in his fight to gain full law enforcement powers.
See: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/0 ... 46089.html
I didn't realize there was a difference from state to state on the powers, or limit thereof, of the county sheriff. For example, Delaware's sheriffs are essentially officers of the court. "Responsibilities include processing orders of the court system; summoning inquests, jurors, and witnesses for the courts; and, conducting execution sales against personal and real estate property." They provide ''enforcement sources for the court.''(taken from wiki link below).
The Delaware Congress viewed the 'conservator or peace' line in the state congress as ambiguous, so they passed a more specific bill codifying things they way they've been for some time. Sheriff Christopher is suing (with the help of sheriff Mack). Here's a link to the info:

See this wikipedia article for a summary of the sheriff powers in your state:

Thankfully, mine has full law enforcement powers.
As a side note, Connecticut did abolish the office of sheriff (in 2000, I believe).

I think we are left with standing with God and we must detach ourselves from the idea that we can get any justice from government.
