There is good news to report from this trip. They saw through his terrorist disguise perfectly: An eighty-five year old nearly deaf man with severe Alzheimers, in a wheelchair dealing with severe hip pain, also shoulder pain, and other issues. Such a clever disguise required not only the most thorough of exams, but that he be forced to stand up for it. They could not be fooled at his obviously fake agony.

More good news: At least he can't remember it.

So sorry to hear about the treatment rec'd by your daughter and father. Can you tell us what airport this occurred at? I understand that there is some variation in "procedures" at different check-points.
I am very concerned myself about this issue... as my wife is traveling next week by plane in a rather urgent family situation.

We the people don't seem to have a voice when it comes to objecting to humiliating "searches" contrary to the Bill of Rights.

4th amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I heard 2nd hand a bit ago that a contractor who used to work for me and who currently works directly for another company as their western regional tech representative had another significant run-in w/TSA. He has to fly a lot and normally doesn't take much guff from them, and at least tries to stand up for his rights. This time they took him to court over some alleged infraction of their rules. He hired a lawyer and it went to court. The judge threw the TSA case out of court as having no merit.

I"ll get more details later and will share if significant.

I just wonder what would happen if more people could see their way to standing up to them and refusing to submit based on their 4th Amendment rights. It seems to me that it would be actionable if TSA prevented them from boarding their flight. Heck, the litigant could also name the airport as a party to the damages. To the degree that airports have a say in allowing TSA depredations (and I thought they did), maybe with enough lawsuits, they may realize its not cost-effective to allow TSA onto their premises.

My normally outspoken, independent daughter chose to not make any waves at that time because of the situation with my father was a more urgent priority. When they do this to old people and children it gets me so angry! I've seen people that can't even move in wheelchairs be forced to stand and then be groped in front of everyone waiting at security. I've seen children be in tears going through this stuff. You stand there and there is nothing you can do and it's fustrating. I do say things outload about how I feel about it and people around me get all jumpy and nervious. I feel like turning around and saying, "what are you people robots!"

Thank you, sadie. You can imagine my reaction. Plus, I said my daughter is very attractive. Not exactly. She is extremely beautiful and, shall we say, extremely endowed. I would have been very shocked had she NOT had to go through the porn cancer scanner... I'll just say here that she knows the real agenda going on and how to pick her place and her time.... It won't happen again.

I just shake my head at the American people enabling this, and yes we are. Can you imagine the reaction if this had been tried 50 or so years ago?

I agree, AussieOI. I know I saw the video of the napalmed Korean children in high school and there was no outrage or cries for censorship. The images are ones of violence and human suffering, not sex. It says a lot to our culture that children will be exposed to graphic scenes of violence on television at an early age, but any form of nudity is equated with sexual perversion.
