I appreciate that you served our Country! Thanks for sharing that story, my heart pounds just hearing about it.
It is very scary to me that it could happen here. I have spent alot of time being as prepared as possible. Can you ever really be prepared for what is about to happen? Having lived through an experience like that, would it be easier? Some of us have never seen anything but affluence and peace, thanks to men like you who are brave enough to serve their country. I'm thankful you aren't on the The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Who would I share the oldies with? :ymparty:

My Husband was on this aircraft carrier.

A friend and myself rode the bus from Arizona to Oceanside California. We got off at the Marine base. We were scared to death.
This song was popular then and always reminds me of that experince. :-o

I love everything from the 60s!! I should have been born 20 years earlier. My favorite is the folk, psychedelic, and the classic rock of that time. Well the closest I get to Woodstock is camping out at the folk festival for 3 nights :D

Sadie, you must be some kinda flower child, hippie. I thought your avatar looked like a sixties commune waiting to form.

Great performance by Satana. I just watched Woodstock the movie. It was on VH1 classics last week.
