Federal Gov and FOOD Production

Postby blondenblueeyed » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:05 pm

I have a close friend, Roy who fulfilled a cannery assignment just last week. They were canning mushroom soup. Before the shift was ended the
cannery supervisor stated he had to shut everything down as the federal government would only allow the cannery to produce up to 40,000cans. That was their limit. With all the folks short on food in the Salt Lake valley you'd think the feds would be grateful the LDS folks
are trying to take care of their own by producing food.

Then on Saturday I received a 2012 National Agricultural Classification Survey wanting me to list all the livestock, food production, crop production,
federal subsidies (NONE I am happy to report) bees, labor, grain storage, Yada Yada Yada...for their survey. They even want to know if we have
internet access and who our operators are, their race, and age. This is NONE of their blankety, blank BUSINESS. What has this country come to?
They also added the threatening statement, " As a reminder, your response in the National Agricultural Classicication Survey is REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW" So what are they going to do if I choose not to answer? Spank me? [-(

We got some baboon in the White House throwing Halloween parties complete with Hollywood actors for hundreds of thousands of dollars while 'Rome burns"; a defense secretary who is slicing our military to smitherenes, a potty mouthed vice president who is as dumb as a box of rocks; a Utah senator
who confirmed a tax cheat for treasury secretary as well as a racist bigot for head of the DOJ who should be tried as an accomplice to MURDER; not to mention the nationalized healthcare the lunatic from the California 'fruitland' who stated she would pole vault over the fence, knock down the gate....etc, etc, to get it passed, and a Nevada senator who lined up the buses at the Las Vegas casinos with the promise of free dinners to deliver dem voters to the polls to get re-elected. The list goes on and on.

I am FURIOUS. X( ANY BODY will be better than Obama. Legalize drugs RP, whinny weenie Santorum, womanizer and narcissist Gengrich, and moderate Romney. Thinking about another 4 years of Obama makes me want to lose my breakfast, lunch and dinner. :ymsick:

I am only scratching the surface.

I so totally agree that anybody would be better. And if we don't stop arguing, and get united, we are going to let Obama have another 4 years. Heaven help us!

Not true. Everyone on that list with the very great exception of Ron Paul will be just as bad if not worse than Obama. Even though Republicans and Democrats do the same thing and are high-fiving each other behind closed doors, we still jump for joy when a Republican wins because we are Republican, or cry like our favorite baseball team wins when our very own Democrat takes office. IT MAKES ME SICK that people only see what is superficial. Why do you think most music sucks and is all about the spectacle now... Hello? Because the spectacle is all people care about. People are sick of being lied to by Obama, so now they would rather have Mitt Romney lie to them because he's white, LDS, and Republican.

I remember getting into a "debate" with my brother-in-law's wife's father about polygamy. I showed him direct quotes from prophets before and after the manifesto proving that polygamy is an eternal principle and would be practiced in heaven. He still told me, "Nope." People will decide what version of reality to believe and stick to that version. Perception is reality for these people.

Don't agree with your assumption. Sorry but RP is not electable. Newt, Rick, or Mitt will be better than Obama. If you can't see past RP then you are either blind or smoking some of the stuff RP wants to legalize. My post was more about WHAT the feds are doing in regards to counting cans of mushroom soup, counting livestock, eggs, grain and gallons of milk than having Ron Paul shoved down my throatonce again. Which brings me to the next question?
Why do all subjects in this forum always lead back to Ron Paul? This is called the LDS "FREEDOM" Forum. It's not Ron Paul campaign headquarters or is it?

Very funny, blonde, I want to smoke what Ron wants to legalize? Where have I heard that before...

And Ron isn't electable? You might be right if the latter-day Gadiantons have their way. Sorry, but I'm still going to swim in the direction of the shore even if the waves are stronger than I am. Mittens Romney or any of the other stuffed-suits that you say will be better than Obama will make you wish we had Obama again. And the cycle continues.

I like the picture! :D Thanks for cancelling your meetings. I do read and try to understand what you are saying.
I disagree with you that Mitt Romney is a liar. I get in alot of trouble for disagreeing on thie forum, but I have the right to my opinion.
AND, I am not alone in my opinion. Obviously...

Nobody said you had to vote for Mitt. However that doesn't mean that LOTS of other folks will INCLUDING me. One thing I have found about
the RP supporters they are ALWAYS mad about something, ALWAYS! It just seems their panties are in a wad when the name of Romney is
mentioned. All I can say is get used to it. Like I said earlier, the subject matter of this original post was about the federal govenment and
food production and how they are interferring. Give it a rest regarding RP! Frankly I'm tired hearing about him. =;

Agree with the problems listed in the original post, including problems with the Obama presidency and Democratic Party policy in general... but is Republican Party policy any better, especially when you temper their rhetoric with a bit of history?

Aside from Obamacare, most of the horrible stuff Obama is doing is based on ground broken by Bush. Yes, the Obama administration has accrued debt quickly than any other... but Bush started the trend and holds the silver medal in that contest.

Both parties want bigger and bigger government, and that's not going to fix these problems since they are all caused by government interference.

Anyway, just wanted to comment on the idea that getting a Republican back in power will fix things. It hasn't in the past, why would it now?

When you only have one candidate espousing freedom as his campaign message.....and this being a FREEDOM forum.....and Mitt would have signed the NDAA (his OWN admission) and doesnt seem to have a problem with the patriot act OR the coming police state.........it shouldnt be that hard to figure out why a lot of people would be for Dr. Paul....who has spoken AGAINST all of those, and voted accordingly.

Salt Lake City. Scary to think the feds can tell us how much food to can and store. But you know what is even
more scary? the fact someone will do what the feds say even tho I doubt they have the authority to give such
orders.

Hey Ugly pb....give the RP campaign a rest or start another thread and I'll even give you the topic: "RON PAUL Campaign Headquarters"
I promise I won't even comment. There are LOTS of other threads and subjects to comment on and those are the ones I will be visiting.
Knock yourself out.
