Trump's new administration embraces 'Globalists'

Post by AI2.0 »

Back before the election many of Trump's supporters raged about 'globalists', claiming that Trump was going to 'save' the nation from them. Clearly they were wrong, Trump was then and he is now, a 'Globalist' and that's why he's including many in his administration. Here's an article on this;
A lot of people remember the confrontation Senator Ted Cruz had a with a Trump supporter during the campaign. At one point Cletus asks Cruz, “Where’s your Goldman Sachs jacket? We know your wife works there!”

It was a shot taken not only at Cruz but also one at Hillary Clinton. After all, it was Trump who said Goldman Sachs had “total control” over her. The hardcore Donald Trump supporters call people such as Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator Marco Rubio, “globalist traitors” and shriek about “globalism” at every turn.

Yet, the silence is deafening now that Donald Trump is filling his cabinet and other administrative posts with these so-called “globalists.”

The best part was watching Trump fans laugh and chortle over Donald Trump not choosing the rich “globalist” Mitt Romney for Secretary of State in favor of Rex Tillerson – they very wealthy CEO of a global oil and gas company.

On the Goldman Sachs front, Trump will have Goldman Sachs Chief Financial Officer Gary Cohn head up Trump’s National Economic Council. Trump’s choice to head the Department of Treasury is Steven Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sach’s partner and Anthony Scaramucci, a former Goldman Sachs banker plays a vital role in Trump’s transition team.

Trump’s choice for Commerce Secretary is Wilbur Ross. A former banker and leveraged buyout specialist, Ross is worth $2.9 billion. He is now a venture capitalist but when he was buying companies he was also doing what Trump railed about – sending jobs to Mexico and China:

Here’s how it worked: In 2004, Ross bought Cone Mills, a North Carolina textile company facing bankruptcy, as Bloomberg detailed in a 2012 write-up. He combined it with another textile company, Burlington Industries, to form International Textile Group. And it was renamed Cone Denim. Bloomberg explained that Ross expanded production “in less-expensive emerging markets” and that he also “eliminate[d] duplicative facilities.”

In other words, layoffs and outsourcing.

In his most recent news, Donald Trump is going to ask Rick Perry to be his Secretary of Energy. Google “Rick Perry” and “globalist” and you’ll find all kinds of references to Perry, Alex Jones, and Breitbart. Perry is considered to be a “RINO globalist, ” and Trumpers were thrilled when Perry dropped out of the Republican race especially after he said Trump was a “cancer” to conservatism.

To be honest, I think many of these picks are quite good. When you want to change the system as Trump claims he wants to do, you bring people in who know the system, not activists who rail about it. The question is whether or not he does it or he’s going to be a run of the mill Republican President.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

I do remember people screaming about Goldman Sachs, yet there are several people who will be in Trump's administration who have ties to Goldman sachs (stronger than Ted Cruz's wife) and even ties to George Soros. Now ties to Russia. Are those of you who supported Trump and thought he would 'drain the swamp' of Rinos and Globalists...are you concerned? To me, it seems that he said some things only to please his base and get votes.

Are you concerned that Reince Priebus was not 'drained' also--but is to be his chief of staff? And of course, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are firmly in power. So, "who" in Washington were in need of being kicked out of power?

To be honest with you, I think when Trump met with Obama it was such an eye-opener for Trump as to who is really in charge. @-) It scared the crap out of Trump. He has to 'comply' like it or not. It was mentioned and posted on this forum recently of a book called "None dare call it Conspiracy." I think it was also said that President Benson recommended it. If you don't understand the Globalists, National Bankers, Illuminati etc,. this book is a good place to start.

I'm very familiar with the book. I doubt Trump is though.

Kittycat, I think you are making an excuse for Trump. I don't think he's 'scared' of the globalists and/or the "Gadiantons". I think he's one of them and that's why he's filling his cabinet with them.

But thanks for your comments.

Under Trump;s administration;

DONALD J. TRUMP’S VISION

Ensure our veterans get the care they need wherever and whenever they need it. No more long drives. No more waiting backlogs. No more excessive red tape. Just the care and support they earned with their service to our country.
Support the whole veteran, not just their physical health care, but also by addressing their invisible wounds, investing in our service members' post-active duty success, transforming the VA to meet the needs of 21st century service members, and better meeting the needs of our female veterans.
Make the VA great again by firing the corrupt and incompetent VA executives who let our veterans down, by modernizing the VA, and by empowering the doctors and nurses to ensure our veterans receive the best care available in a timely manner.
Donald J. Trump's 10 Point Plan to Reform The Department of Veterans Affairs

1. Appoint a VA Secretary whose sole purpose will be to serve veterans. Under a Trump Administration, the needs of D.C. bureaucrats will no longer be placed above those of our veterans.

2. Use the powers of the presidency to remove and discipline the federal employees and managers who have violated the public's trust and failed to carry out the duties on behalf of our veterans.

3. Ask that Congress pass legislation that empowers the Secretary of the VA to discipline or terminate any employee who has jeopardized the health, safety or well-being of a veteran.

4. Create a commission to investigate all the fraud, cover-ups, and wrong-doing that has taken place in the VA, and present these findings to Congress to spur legislative reform.

5. Protect and promote honest employees at the VA who highlight wrongdoing, and guarantee their jobs will be protected.

6. Create a private White House hotline, which will be active 24 hours a day answered by a real person. It will be devoted to answering veteran's complaints of wrongdoing at the VA and ensure no complaints fall through the cracks.

7. Stop giving bonuses to any VA employees who are wasting money, and start rewarding employees who seek to improve the VA's service, cut waste, and save lives.

8. Reform the visa system to ensure veterans are at the front of the line for health services, not the back.

9. Increase the number of mental health care professionals, and allow veteran's to be able to seek mental health care outside of the VA.

10. Ensure every veteran has the choice to seek care at the VA or at a private service provider of their own choice. Under a Trump Administration, no veteran will die waiting for service.

President-Elect Donald Trump’s Secretary of Education nominee Betsy DeVos, along wither her husband, Dick, had a profound interview with a group by the name of “The Gathering” back in 2001.

In it, Dick DeVos lamented that the “church, which ought to be, in our view, far more central to the life of the community, has been displaced by the public school as the center for activity.”

And politically correct atmosphere of today has nearly killed the church.

In fact, people have suppressed the simple act of praying in recent years — which is why Betsy DeVos wants to bring America back to the days where the freedom of expression is tolerated once more.

Which, of course, includes prayer.

Whether you’re a Christian, an atheist, a Muslim, an agnostic, or any other religion — the freedom to pray and exercise your First Amendment rights is one we should all desire.

Because in many countries around the world, you are punished by the government for showing any sign of worship to whichever religion you practice.

With Betsy DeVos at the helm, we can bolster the First Amendment and make American education great again.

Senator Jeff Sessions
Senator Jeff SessionsMike Segar/Reuters

President-elect Donald Trump ran for election on a platform built in large part on enforcing laws—however harsh—against illegal immigrants and a promise to bar refugees and others from Muslim countries from entering the United States.

Now, experts say, with his decision to nominate Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions to be Attorney General, Trump is giving one of the most ardent anti-illegal immigration voices in the US Congress tremendous power to reshape immigration enforcement in the United States.

Sessions, the first member of the Senate to endorse Trump’s candidacy, strenuously opposed bipartisan immigration reform bills that came before the Senate in 2007 and 2013, arguing that they were insufficiently strict and ultimately led to amnesty.

In 2015, as the Republican Party took control of the Senate, he circulated what he called an “Immigration Handbook for the New Republican Majority.” In part, it reads, “‘Immigration reform’ may be the single most abused phrase in the English language. It has become a legislative honorific almost exclusively reserved for proposals which benefit everyone but actual American citizens.”

In Congress, he wrote, “The GOP should focus on discrete, targeted enforcement measures designed to have an outsize effect on reducing illegality, empowering immigration officers, restoring enforcement, and putting a stop to catch-and-release.”

As Attorney General, he would be in a position to actively encourage all of those things by setting policies that guide law enforcement agencies.

I never had really great hopes for Trump, but I think things could go/ could have gone better if the "constitutionalists" had offered their help instead of dissing Trump. And I think he really fell for the suggestions on whom to pick.
