Have you changed your mind about Trump yet?
Trump is selecting his Cabinet. Have you studied the background of those selected? From this observer's viewpoint, it seems like more of the same old Washington cronyism.
Trump is reneging on some of his major campaign promises and assertions. Does that bother his supporters?
Trump is already taking action not defined under the Constitution as being among the duties of the POTUS. Does that concern his supporters?

I expected most of the above.
The one sign I consider hopeful is he appears, at least for now, to be working against the interests of the globalists. It may just be a case of the wicked destroying the wicked, but it's a positive in my book.
His appointments have been a "dis" appointment, but not surprising. I expect the same of any Supreme Court nominations.

Re: Have you changed your mind about Trump yet?
This is always a one sided discussion. Where would we be with a Clinton POTUS? Does anything she has done, criminally, not bother anyone? What type of cabinet would she instill? Would she leave the 2nd amendment alone? Would she allow people to die like she did in Benghazi? Would she put millions of dollars into her pocked like her and Bill did upon Haiti's huge earthquake? Would she be free to destroy emails and other devices just so no one can catch her in corrupt activities and get convicted? Oh, and what about the child-sex thing? Doesn't this qualify as a horrible issue to be dealt with?
But, hey, let's just keep our focus on Trump. Let's keep him and him alone under a microscope. Maybe some of you Trump bashers secretly want Hillary in office. That would fix the US, right?
There are always two sides to a story or incident, etc. Why is Trump being singled out. Why are people trying to read his mind just to keep nerves rattled and trouble brewing ad naseam?
Given the two options for POTUS that was heaped upon Americans, realistically and regrettably, a true question is in the forefront...which of the two would do the better job?
And since President Benson said that the Constitution would be saved...BUT NOT IN WASHINGTON...then who out of all the other candidates could do any better, huh? Really, now...who?

Re: Have you changed your mind about Trump yet?
My signature block here used to read: I am equally opposed to Clinton and Trump. My comments on Trump continue because he was elected.
The Republican Party has done severe damage to the Republic given to us by our forefathers. Why should we take a wait-and-see attitude when the same old crowd of CFR and elitists are chosen to run the country? Bankers got the US into the financial mess we are in and yet Trump is asking bankers to serve with him. These are bankers who previously gave him and his businesses favorable treatment. Quid pro quo, anyone?
There are two sides to this story. The Gadiantonish bankers are on one side and common citizen is on the other.

My verdict is still out. I like what he has said he would do, how he seems to be spitting in the face of the globalist in many ways...BUT I am alarmed at many of his cabinet picks. Everything with Trump will continue to be in my mind "remain to be seen".

We've been losing since FDR so what's the big deal? Our scriptures were written in the pre-Christ and church restoration eras. And by the looks of it Mormons have failed all the way down the line in getting the best possible candidate in office, for two reasons, 1) too few Mormons, and 2) even fewer among the Mormons that believed in and adamantly sought out good people. The majority has always been for the bad guy; the few for a Constitutional candidate. I really can't say this to be true in all cases prior to FDR.
BTW, Trump is the 45th President to take office, but he is not the 45th President. There were eight previous Presidents prior to GW. They were actually called someone that presides.
An excerpt:
Due to the fear of giving too much power to one person, the office of president was extremely limited in power and scope, and was not even a paid position. Rather, the primary roles of the president at this time were simply to preside over meetings and handle various state correspondence. The president was also the one who signed official congressional documents.

I don't know everything perfectly so anyone can correct me if desired. I did find it interesting that there were presidents prior to Washington. They were under the Articles of Confederation.
I know I side stepped a little. I just wonder how many of these previous US leaders were not straight shootin' patriots to freedom and liberty. I also wonder which one out of all our presidents, was the first one to attempt to begin the decay in our society known as socialism. Was there anyone prior to Roosevelt?

Re: Have you changed your mind about Trump yet?
Trump was the perfect stealth candidate. The powers that be realized how most Americans felt about Hillary. Many disliked Trump, but even more loathed Hillary. Those same powers can read our emails (Hillary's deleted emails too if they wanted to) and they know every website link you click on. With their finger on our collective pulse, they realized that all they had to do is insert a populist candidate that will make anti-globalist remarks to excite so many who are tired of so much government intervention and broken promises and endless war.kittycat51 wrote:Well on a good note...Merry Christmas!

Of course as soon as the election ends and the voters go back to sleep, the Gadiantons continue their reign of blood and terror. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. And since our congressmen are untrustworthy, they will give all the elitist nominees a pass.

In voting for Castle I had ZERO expectation of him winning. I was simply voting for the best man as my church leaders have counseled me.freedomforall wrote:And everyone can tell he didn't get elected, so what good is he doing at this point?Silver wrote:trump wedding.jpg

You might enjoy learning about the relationship of Woodrow Wilson and Col. Edward House. Woodrow Wilson would definitely be one prior to FDR who betrayed America.

Does anyone wonder why the Democrats have been going to great lengths in an effort to steal the election? Why George Soros has paid protesters to create riots? Why Jill Stein initiated a recount? Why mainstream media has not told the truth?AI2.0 wrote:How is he 'working against the interests of the Globalists' when so many 'globalists' are being given positions of power in his cabinet?2EstablishZion wrote:I expected most of the above.

If you say that Trump is choosing globalists for his cabinet, then why wouldn't the Dems and all the stupid protesters be silent? Why would Soros be so bent on keeping trouble stirred up?
If globalists fill the new Government then why wouldn't all the pot stirrers be happy? Huh?

From this perspective, the C.I.A.'s rash, evidence-free "report" is a rear-guard political action against the winning faction of the Deep State. The Deep State elements that profited from the neocon agenda were confident that Hillary's victory would guarantee another eight years of globalist intervention. Her loss means they are now on the defensive, and like a cornered, enraged beast, they are lashing out with whatever they have in hand.
So this let's Trump off the hook.
Excerpt from report 2:
If I am right, I cannot say either way if Trump is aware that he will be a potential scapegoat for the elites. With Trump on the way to the White House I can guarantee a Fed rate hike in December. Imagine what a staged war between Trump and the Federal Reserve will do to the U.S. dollar? What a way to destroy the currency's world reserve status and make way for the IMF's Special Drawing Rights! I also suspect that widespread rioting is on the schedule as well from various social justice mobs; a perfect excuse for expansive martial law measures, don’t you think?
The point is, as horrifying as a Clinton presidency might be to conservatives (or to everyone), don’t get too comfortable under Trump. The party is just getting started and our vigilance must be even greater with a conservative White House, because, like it or not, everything Trump does is going to reflect on us. We can no more allow unconstitutional activities under Trump than we could under Clinton. If you think the election has been chaotic and confusing so far, just wait until after it is over.
We can no more allow unconstitutional activities under Trump than we could under Clinton........this is a given.
I cannot say either way if Trump is aware that he will be a potential scapegoat for the elites....no absolute, irrefutable facts that Trump is for globalism.
I don't think true Americans will sit back and allow martial law without a fight. As long as we have guns and some patriotic blood left if war is what it takes to restore freedom, then President Benson's words will be confirmed, "if freedom is lost, only blood, human blood will bring it back."
Mosiah Hancock
[According to Brother Hancock, the Prophet Joseph Smith told him,] The United States will spend her strength and means warring in foreign lands until other nations will say, “Let’s divide up the lands of the United States,” then the people of the U.S. will unite and swear by the blood of their fore-fathers, that the land shall not be divided.
Then the country will go to war, and they will fight until one half of the U.S. army will give up, and the rest will continue to struggle. They will keep on until they are very ragged and discouraged, and almost ready to give up—when the boys from the mountains will rush forth in time to save the American Army from defeat and ruin. And they will say, “Brethren, we are glad you have come; give us men, henceforth, who can talk with God.” Then you will have friends, but you will save the country when its liberty hangs by a hair, as it were. (Life Story of Mosiah Lyman Hancock, 19-20)
I don't see it as a good idea to ride on others shirttails of those offering opinions only due to the fact that opinions are not facts, but remain opinions. And making up stuff based on the opinions of others is foolhardy.
OPINION = a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
