So what’s my point? The table above is most definitely NOT a guide to caliber selection. Just because one caliber shows higher one shot stop percentage or fewer hits per incapacitation doesn’t mean all that much. As I mentioned earlier, there are simply far too many variables at play to ever make absolute judgments like that.

If there is a point to be made, it’s right there in front of us in the numbers. Consider the number of shots to incapacitate. Not how many, but the fact that you have to have hits in the first place. Choose whatever ammo you’re comfortable with and spend more of your energy developing the skills to make hits when you need to, and less arguing about which caliber is the “magic bullet.”

Anyone know where the .32 auto acp mags can be purchased? I see where some places are selling .380 mags and calling them .32. I want the 7 hole mag.

Ok full disclosure: I own the Serbian M88. It feels great in the hand and is actually modeled after Browning's 1903 single action semi auto. Great little pistol, although I wish it was a smidge more accurate. It's enough to get the job done though. Solid steel production, too. If you prefer a longer barrel, go with their M70. Also a nice win. Consequently, these are made by Zastava. They have some others in that price range that are pretty formidable Sig Sauer knock offs....

EAA is great too, but I don't think I'd go Kel-Tec. They go bang, but I wouldn't trust my life to them. Why haven't you listed any Bersas on there? They have some great .380s under $300 that are modeled after the Walther PPK, except they are built better, more reliably, and way less expensive. Bersa Thunder is a great gun, and my wife's personal favorite (she eats bulls eyes with that thing).

Actually, I know next to nothing about types and efficiencies of guns. I've owned a few guns and have a couple and only am looking for a nice CC, but I'm not hard pressed. I'm going to look into the Bersa brand. Thanks.
I do like the .410 idea, though.

I posted the above merely to let the interested check into a gun that strikes their fancy.
