Three Sentences for Your Consideration

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering...

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it.....and last but not least,

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower that before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens?

Am I the only one missing something?

Pass it along and vote your conscience this November.

Clint Eastwood at age 83

I f you realize each day is a gift, you may be near my age.

My Twilight Years ~ Clint Eastwood

As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.
There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more." No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together no more
phone calls just to chat. It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood."
So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this:
I voted against that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron currently in the White House!
Participating in a gun buy-back program because you think that criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbors have too many kids.

Regards, Clint
Make my day, Pass it on...

Watch the video first then look at the comments below
This video is of actual Detectives attempting to stop a CRIMINAL in Chicago.
This Video was taken by a Police Officer Videographer who, was also in harm's way.
WATCH the Video First... Two or Three Times if You Want...
(and) THEN Read TheText Below...
DON'T READ UNTIL YOU WATCH THE VIDEO!
You may need to watch this one several times.
Please remember these cops acted in real time....
THIS PERSON DOES GET SHOT BY THE DETECTIVES.
THIS IS FOR REAL. DO NOT scroll down and read until you see this 8 sec. video.

WHAT DID YOU SEE???? Officers ordered the suspect to put the assault rifle down, and that is what he is doing, Right? it appears he is complying and then they shoot him!!!

OMG, he is shot! Is that what you saw? Do you want to know what it is like to work the streets as a cop, and what risks our Officers face daily? Watch the video again... Watch the suspect's right hand while he places the rifle down with his left hand. What you don't see by facing this Criminal face to face, but the Officer behind the suspect does see, is the suspect pulling a hidden handgun from his rear pants, with his right hand. {back-up yells "Gun"
before firing}

Watch as the bad guy goes down..... the handgun is still in his right hand. This is a reminder... What you think you see at does not always tell the truth.

Watch it again, and learn! NOW, pass this on to EVERYONE on your email list, so they can do the same. It's time for Mr. and Mrs. Citizen as well as the Media have a better understanding of why people REALLY get shot and WHY our Officers are always in Jeopardy. Think I would rather try to ride a bull for 8 seconds, how about you?

Gun "buy-back" programs should be called what they actually are: gun buy-up programs. My guns never belonged to the government, therefore, they can't buy them back.

And I'm proud to say I rescued a rifle from a buy-up program back in the 90's and it's still a happy member of our family. :-)

Here is a "gun nut" source of information for gun enthusiasts. What were the Founders thinking?

The Second Amendment

The Second Amendment to the Constitution, a protection of the ownership of firearms, has become the source of heated controversy in recent years. Learn about the Founders' views on this important freedom and their solutions for averting the plague of violence that has disrupted communications.

I hope the difference is being willing to die on our feet fighting rather than on our knees defenseless and subdued. If people give up their guns then this is exactly how they'll be...defenseless and subdued...before any defense can be started. The giving up our weapons is nothing more than throwing away what freedom we have left by our own hands. It would like the Israelites turning tail and running back to Pharaoh once they hit a major obstacle.

Can anyone provide a source for a projectile for a 37MM M17 Casing? It doesn't even have to be authentic, I would simply like to see the shell in its complete status.

Sorry, I can't find anything online. Best bet might be to find a machinist who can lathe one out of aluminum for you.

I note from a post on the News You Can Use thread that the FedGov has plans to ban the availability to non-military and LEO persons of ammo that can be used in the AR15. This comes as no surprise to me. I am only surprised that ammo for the AK47 is not included in that ban.

To be clear, this isn't all ammo for the AR, but it's classifying the steel-core m855 as armor piercing. Since there are pistols that shoot 5.56, it would be illegal to purchase with this classification. It doesn't have anything to do with all the other ammo available for the AR.
