Both political parties are basically the same. The far left and the far right are both for socialism at some level.SpeedRacer wrote:Living in VA I see candidates like George Allen being put up on the stump against a near worthless opponent. George Allen is the least exciting candidate in history. So the republicans lose. Akon is kept on the ballot and Loses. Scott Brown loses to a known liar in Mass.
These are the easy ones. Then we get to president. There is simply no comparrison between the resumes of Obama and Romney. No sane employer on earth would take Obama. However our country did.
So where does this leave republicans?
Now my issue. I want to vote conservative without "wasting" my vote. How do we create a new party, or take over the leadership in the Republican party and transform it?
While it may not matter, this all may be over in four years anyhow.
Ask yourself this question: where does the terms democrats and republicans come from?
Since we are a republic and not a democracy, could this be? ...democracy = democrats...and republicans = republic
Just food for thought.
