Posting this in "Alternative Health Solutions" because this is about an alternative to traditional Health Insurance.
You may have noticed the large ad currently at the bottom of the site (as of this posting) linked to http://www.medicalcostshare.com/ldsff.h ... term=ldsff" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; -- I posted the ad to help out a friend of mine who runs that website. I recommend this as something definitely worth looking into.
- Medical cost sharing is not health insurance. It is an affordable alternative to expensive healthcare.
- Medical cost sharing is like using a credit union instead of a bank. It accomplishes the same functions but it's non-profit.
- As a member, monthly costs range from $107 for a single member under 30 years old to $449 a month for our most comprehensive program for a family, which shares 100% of medical expenses up to $1,000,000 per incident.
- Members of Recognized Health Care Sharing Ministries are Exempt From the Requirement to Have Health Insurance.
- Remember this is not health insurance. It's BETTER!...

This makes me wonder why it isn't more widespread? I'll be losing my health insurance soon because I'm quiting my job in favor of a paid internship. Most likely I'll just be doing without because of my good health, but this is pretty cool

With health insurance coverage renewals coming up soon, I recommend exploring this alternative medical cost share option - it can actually be a cheaper alternative to your current health insurance.

Great suggestion Bro. My premiums are going up 50% this renewal. Thanks Obummer. I heard of a Christian health share program that sounded interesting. Would there be fines levied if someone went this direction? Interested in pursuing.

These make you exempt from Obamacare, so no there would not be fines.Mark wrote:BrianM wrote:With health insurance coverage renewals coming up soon, I recommend exploring this alternative medical cost share option - it can actually be a cheaper alternative to your current health insurance.
