I do not think I have talked about that book here, and yes he is working very hard.
There are two movies called The Shift one that is being made right now:

They are different movies but basically the same message. These two different movies called "The Shift" are quite often confused.
From what I have been able to tell so far these two movies is Dyer's goes primarily into the personal shift that happens the "awakening" and goes more over the idea that we were taught wrongly about achievement and accumulation but then come to a point in life where we search for true meaning a place where we wonder what purpose our life has and change to a life of meaning, focused on serving and giving back. Where this is not a totally false idea it is a truth repackage in their spirituality to eliminate the True God out of the picture and replace you as God.There in lies the Shift from the believe of a God to the belief you are God or from the belief of traditional atheism to spiritualized atheism.
The other movie goes into more of the entire world's Shift or Awakening to these "new found truths" that all is God and we all need to work together as a collective.
The shift is a paradigm shift of perspectives of how to view humanity, God and your own divinity. It is a shifting of perception from a material point of view to a spiritual one where one comes to the understanding that All is God. That is why you will hear it quite often said the Shift occurs "within" then as each person's consciousness connects with others that have made the Shift it creates a transformation of the earth.
Their belief is that all is God and all is good, therefore there is no sin, no judgment, and no redemption from sin. Atonement in their conception is merely the awakening to the oneness of everything, At One Ment, the belief that At-One-Ment means all things are one and all is God. Basically we are all just avatars of this universal force they call God, that together we make up the body of God. There is no true separation of spirits or personalities; we are all just part of the force or "god".
This for me really shows Lucifer's ideas in this teaching, for he desired us to not have agency. In this belief there is a false sense of freedom but underlining that there is no true agency for we are all continuously overshadowed by the "Christ consciousness" which is the force or the universe. Though they interestingly say it is a choice we have to make to choose this path. Once you choose this path you are told to let this force flow through you at all times and become one with it and its will.
It is very similar to what we say when we talk about submitting to Father's will, but they submit to the will of the universe or the force. The difference is they are all assimilated into being "cells of the body of Christ" as they call it. Where we are able to keep our unique body, personality, and what we identify as existing as a "Being" but only become like Father. We do not merge into a single being. It is like they are trying to go back to becoming un-gathered intelligences again as a final goal, instead of seeking to become like Father. That is pretty much their definition of godhood: just being unorganized intelligence. Without form or individuality but just being part of the force.
Yet in the deeper doctrines they will teach of this hierarchy of ascended beings that have gone through many incarnations and now direct the planet. They even say the one that is in charge of the evolution of man to this higher understanding is Lucifer. So it appears we are to become just part of Lucifer or an extension of him. Some writings explain we are all merely avatars of the source "Lucifer" and we will go back to source when we finish our evolution. So in this we see two different ideas, one where we are all just force energy and another where we evolve to become ascended masters. So what they appear to be saying is to be an ascended master is to have give you will over to Lucifer and become just an extension of his will.
