LOL abuse

Post by masterdmjg »

I am just wondering if there are any rules for using the acronym LOL. I suspect there are many people who use LOL when they are not even really laughing out loud at all. Shouldn't there be regulations that assure that the term is only used in circumstances where something you read or saw on the Internet or whatever really DID make you LOL? What does everyone think?

Try working out the acronyms at an infertility site! That is truly an adventure. YMMV.

POAS = pee on a stick
BD/DTD = baby dance/do the deed
CD = cycle day

I could really sick you out with that, lol.
