Your home for discussing politics, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and the principles of liberty.
They go from "get out there a find the one" when you are just out of high school to "don't worry, you still have time" when you are approaching 30 to "he is waiting for you in heaven, he was just killed in such and such way" or "you can adopt, you don't need a husband to do that" as you get older.

I agree that a place is needed for LDS AWAKE SINGLES to discuss issues and struggles that others may not relate to. And of course if the thread results in helping match people up, then what a blessing that would be! (Can't wait to see the "LDSFF Marriage Proposals" thread.....)
In all seriousness, thanks again for creating this!

Look fwd to following the discussion with other singles that are awake

Well I find that MOST people want to live in ignorance. The numbers are not good for "Awake Singles". There are so few who are awake, and only a fraction of those are single. I think it takes divine intervention for some people to wake up.

Sadly, my ex-wife is one of the few who are awake...

I see you joined this forum and hour and fifteen minutes after me!

I dated a woman who I thought was my type until I brought up secret combinations, at which point she said that I was too negative about things and I should be more positive. I told her that as a man I felt the need to warn and protect others from the hell that is coming.....that I was trying to live up to the commandment of Moroni in Ether 8. Well, things didn't work out after that, she wanted "sugar and spice and everything nice" but did not want to face reality. Hey, I can have fun every day but I still have to face the reality of what's coming too! So let's be happy as we worship the Lord and share that testimony with others, and also fight evil!
Ask Heiro for his ex-wife's phone number...

In my family, we have seen both sides as me and one of my sisters are still single and another is divorced.

I am glad there are other single people that are awake. I can hardly talk to many in my family about it and even the ones that are somewhat awake think I am a little crazy.

Is there an awake singles thread where the ratio is opposite of this thread?

I have to admit, WYp8triot, I like the ratio of this one so far.

according to some threads on this forum, shouldn't there be 7 girls to every guy?
