Does anyone know anything about a Essocom computer mic?

It is supposed to be a plug and play mic, but it is not working.

There are no instructions in or on the box...

Got it plugged in the right spot? Is the mic volume turned up? What application are you trying? Try the media recorder? Try looking in your hardware profiles and make sure it's enabled? Those are my thoughts?
