Does anyone wonder if that is all there is....to?

The best Ghost Riders version is the Johnny Cash original, due to the rusty honky tonk piano used on the recording.

Can't argue that. Johnny Cash is one singer that was hard to surpass. I still have his album with Ring of Fire on it.David13 wrote:The best Ghost Riders version is the Johnny Cash original, due to the rusty honky tonk piano used on the recording.

Does anyone know who the first man to record this song and have it reach #1 is? It was Vaughn Monroe, in 1948?
The recording first appeared on the Billboard charts on April 15, 1949, lasting 22 weeks and reaching No. 1 Billboard ranked it as the No.1 song for 1949.

Best version of Apache (instrumental) the Shadows.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLocafpLMi0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull, Aqualung, and several others.
Johnny Horton, Sink the Bismarck
Larry Verne, Please Mr Custer, there is a classic.
Anything by ABBA
There is really no end to it, it could go on forever. In fact, it probably will.

Vaughn Monroe
Burl Ives had a version. Marty Robbins did also. Shadows did an excellent instrumental version.
I like Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I thought it was a good sailing song. I did enough sailing with that song ringing in my head.

Did anyone know this already? I just happened to double click the mouse on one of the posted songs and it went to full screen on Youtube. I didn't know one could do this on this site. Nice.

I don't care about ratings, or charts, or anything like that. I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like.
