"Monkeys and dogs have human-style morality: BOTH judge humans on how they treat others - and prefer fairer people"

"Researchers designed an experiment to see if monkeys prefer helpful people
Results show that dogs and capuchin monkeys prefer people who help others
The research also shows that monkeys show a preference to fairer people
These types of judgement behaviors might explain the origins of human morality

Previous studies of babies have found that by the time we turn one, we already start to judge people based on their interactions with others, leading some researchers to believe that humans are born with a sense of morality.

Researchers at Kyoto University in Japan decided to find out if other species also judge people based on how they treat others.
