I try not to take words literally but see between the lines - the nonverbal communication and especially action.
Words are just symbols - that we each subjectively interpret.
Love, to me, is NOT emotion as much as DOING what is good and healthy for ourselves and others - sometimes even contrary to one's feeling.

I've come to define God as love - a creative process fulfilling itself... And love as appreciating what is while striving for what is bet through trial and error - active faith.
