Andrew Breitbart's Coroner Poisoned To Death?

http://www.latimes.com/videogallery/696 ... sa-reports" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Medical examiners in Los Angeles are investigating the possible poisoning death of one of their own officials who may have worked on the case of Andrew Breitbart, the conservative firebrand who died March 1, the same day Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced probable cause for forgery in President Obama’s birth certificate.

Michael Cormier, a respected forensic technician for the Los Angeles County Coroner died under suspicious circumstances at his North Hollywood home April 20, the same day Breitbart’s cause of death was finally made public.

“There are mysterious circumstances surrounding his death,” said Elizabeth Espinosa, a news reporter for KTLA-TV. “We’re told detectives are looking into the possibility that he was poisoned by arsenic.”

Help Sheriff Joe blow the lid off Obama’s fraud. Join the Cold Case Posse right now!

Cormier, 61, had been rushed to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after complaining of pain and vomiting.

“He was transported there early in the morning, and passed away late at night,” Ed Winter, assistant chief of operations and Cormier’s colleague at the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, told KTLA. “It affects everybody when you lose a co-worker, but we’ll proceed and do our job and try to figure out why Michael died.”

The hospital then notified Los Angeles Police about Cormier’s death.

“At this point we haven’t ruled out foul play,” police Lt. Alan Hamilton told the Los Angeles Times. “It is one of the things being considered. We are waiting for the coroner’s results.”

Toxicology results are not expected for five to six weeks.

Sources told the Times several hazardous materials experts and officers searched Cormier’s home in search of what may have caused his sudden demise.

A rare EF-1 tornado with 73 - 112 mph winds (117 - 180 kph) hit Toulouse, France on Sunday, causing minor damage that included collapsed walls, uprooted trees, and cars moved out of place.

A European heat wave of unparalleled intensity for so early in the year smashed all-time April heat records over much of Central and Eastern Europe on Saturday and Sunday. According to wunderground's weather historian Christopher C. Burt, and weather records researcher Maximiliano Herrera, new national April heat records were set in Belarus, Germany, Austria, and Poland, and hundreds of stations in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Russia recorded their hottest April temperatures on record. Moscow hit 28.6°C (84°F) on Sunday, the hottest April reading in the city since record keeping began 130 years ago. The culprit for the heat wave and French tornado is a large low pressure system off the coast of France whose counter-clockwise flow has been pumping hot air from the Sahara Desert northwards into Europe. The low is expected to continue to bring unusually hot weather to most of Central and Eastern Europe for the remainder of the week.

There seems to be a divergent amount of information flowing out of the California economy. The headlines seem to indicate stabilization for the economy yet tax receipts are well below estimates and the unemployment rate is back to 11 percent. Pray tell where is that cash that Spaulding speaks of? Certainly corporations like Apple have a lot of it, but most of that alleged "cash" is nothing but debt on the balance sheets of corporations. Sorry Tom, but counting cash that is spoken for is simply wrong.

There is also $1.5 trillion of excess reserves at the Fed. However, those reserves, have an associated liability as well. Even if that was not the case there would be a problem of duration match. Do investors want to load up on Illinois debt at 1.85% for 10 years.

Japan's nominal GDP contracted 8 percent in the four years to the third quarter of 2011, and six percentage points of that was due to deflation. Without increased government expenditure, the contraction will be one percentage point more. Japan has not seen this kind of sustained deflation since the 1930s.

Japan is on an unsustainable path of a strong yen and deflation. The unprofitability of Japan's major exporters and emerging trade deficits suggest that the end of this path is in sight. The transition from a strong to weak yen will likely be abrupt, involving a sudden and big devaluation of 30 to 40 percent. It will be a big shock to Japan's neighbors and its distant competitors like Germany. The yen's devaluation in 1996 was a main factor in triggering the Asian Financial Crisis. Japan's neighbors must have a strong banking system to withstand a bigger devaluation of the yen.

As the US beefs up its military presence in the Persian Gulf region, Pentagon strategists estimate that they would need less than a month to defeat Iranian forces should a military conflict take place. US Central Command (CENTCOM) believes it can destroy or significantly degrade Iran's conventional armed forces in about three weeks using air and sea strikes, a defense source told The Washington Post.

Two L.A. doctors among 108 arrested in Medicare fraud crackdown
May 2, 2012 | 1:19 pm

Eight individuals in Los Angeles, including two doctors, were among scores of healthcare providers charged Wednesday as part of a national crackdown on Medicare fraud.

The sweep of arrests in seven major cities, where some $455 million was alleged to have been fraudulently billed to Medicare, marked the highest amount of false claims pursued in a single raid in the history of a federal strike force convened to combat rising fraud in the medical industry.

All told, 108 doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers from around the nation were charged. In Los Angeles, authorities said defendants had filed $20 million in false claims.

Bolademi Adetola, owner of the Latay Medical Services company in Gardena, was charged with billing Medicare for power wheelchairs that never were purchased. The Greatcare Home Health group allegedly paid “kickbacks” to recruiters to find “patients” who were in good health, and then arranged to have doctors knowingly write phony prescriptions for them.

In addition, Dr. Augustus Ohemeng and Dr. George Tarryk were among four individuals connected with a Southern California medical care group that authorities say billed Medicare for feeding tubes for patients who did not need them.

Of the 108 charged, 87 were arrested Wednesday. Federal agents were either still looking for the other 21 or were expecting them to voluntarily surrender.

Following an internal meeting between the FDA's Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology and Office of New Drugs, the Agency announced it would be requiring additional warning labels for statin drugs. Among them are warnings that statins may increase the risk of:

Liver damage
Memory loss and confusion
Type 2 diabetes
Muscle weakness (for certain statins)

According to Dr. Amy Egan, the FDA's deputy director of safety in the division of metabolism drug products, the new warnings, particularly the one for memory loss, came as the result of anecdotal reports compiled over the past year. In short, with well over 30 million Americans now taking statin drugs, we're witnessing a massive ongoing 'live' experiment, and many are putting their health on the line for drugs that offer little in the way of heart protection. In fact, they may actually make your heart health worse.

Given how many people are being killed by sugar, are laws against it the solution, just like with other harmful substances like marijuana and cocaine?

Surely we can solve this problem with force. That has worked so well for other substances with potential for recreational misuse.

Don't be silly. Sugar is legal, just like prescription pharmaceuticals. Therefore it must be good.

The laws are only as good as the people....

No law will work when the people become a law unto themselves! And yes then more government is needed and force becomes a prerequisite. If it proceeds to the point that the people have completely lost their agency and have become slaves to the devil....then they will need to be exterminated.

Yes, and as taught in D&C134 any law that goes outside of the protection of rights is something that those involved will be personally judged for. In other words, unjustified and unrighteous laws add to the wickedness of a society and hasten its destruction.

Robert Shiller of the famed Case-Shiller Index came out only a few days ago stating that housing may not recover for over a decade. As dire as this may sound, we have a similar example to look at in Japan. It wasn’t like he stated this just to cause a stir but talked about compressed household wages, record low mortgage rates, and a large pipeline of distressed inventory. Even though real estate values are now down 35 percent from their peak taking values back to 2002 (a lost decade) we would need to increase housing values nationwide by 50+ percent to get back to the peak. This is what he was discussing about home values not recovering to that price point. Japan has had well over two decades of a depressed real estate market and values today still do not approach the peak values reached in the early 1990s in spite of their central bank pushing rates even lower than the Federal Reserve. In fact, prices are holding closer to the trough. Examining the data we already find ourselves into one lost decade. Is another possible?

Now it turns out some lenders haven’t merely been unhelpful; their actions have pushed some borrowers over the foreclosure cliff. Lenders have been imposing exorbitant insurance policies on homeowners whose regular coverage lapses or is deemed insufficient. The policies, standard homeowner’s insurance or extra coverage for wind damage, say, for Florida residents, typically cost five to 10 times what owners were previously paying, tipping many into foreclosure.

The situation has caught the attention of state regulators and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which is considering rules to help homeowners avoid unwarranted “force- placed insurance.”

News last week out of California suggests trouble is brewing. The report worth noting comes from Standard & Poor’s, and was confirmed by Gov. Jerry Brown’s office in Sacramento. S&P warns that weaker-than-expected income-tax receipts in California in April have blown an extra $1 billion hole in that state’s budget shortfall, and the year is only one-third over. And while all the numbers aren’t in for last month (typically the biggest month for tax receipts), California is far from alone in reporting revenue shortfalls due to fewer people paying income taxes. Massachusetts and Connecticut have recently reported disappointing numbers as well.

Well, more than a half-million Americans disappeared from the labor force last month alone — that is, they stopped looking for work. When 552,000 people in one month decide they are not going to look for a job, that doesn’t bode well for the tax rolls going forward.

It's been a while since BHP Billiton warned that its steel sales to China were plateauing, and that may be a good starting point. All the talk about hard landing vs soft landing is funny at times, but not much more than that. The BHP report was at least real. Of course we also all know the reports on Chinese ghost cities, but they have probably seemed a little abstract until now.

I was also thinking about China with regards to for instance Peak Oil. Whereas it's very clear today that petrol and/or gasoline consumption in the US and Europe has dropped significantly, I see people claim all the time that demand in India and China rises so fast, there's still so little oil to spare that prices must of necessity rise on account of that. I think not. If the Chinese steel industry (a major part of both the economy and the boom in it) has stagnated, I simply don't see how oil usage could rise enormously.

If you ask me, there's a real chance that what is happening is that oil producers, because they sell less, are trying to push up prices just to make the same amount of money. That will work for a while, and then it won't. Which will be a grave danger to Saudi Arabia and all other oil states that need the revenues just to keep a restless young and unemployed generation satisfied enough not to start burning down the house.

Supply and demand will start to work again in the field, though, and at that point producing all you can, and more, will be the only way to keep those revenues from plunging. Could be interesting. Sure, China could fill some reserves. So could others. More tankers could be left floating fully loaded for weeks or months.

But the game is on, and China doesn't look capable of boosting its demand, and double digit GDP growth - any time soon, if ever. The Chinese government has issued a warning on growth numbers, and premier Wen Jiabao added a stern warning on the need for economic reforms.

The economic slowdown in India is one of the world’s biggest economic stories, but it is commanding only a modicum of attention in the United States.

It may not even look like a slowdown because by developed standards, India’s growth — estimated by the International Monetary Fund at 6.9 percent for 2012 — is still strong. But a slowdown it is: the economy has decelerated from projected rates of more than 8 percent, and negative momentum may bring a further decline. The government reported year-over-year growth in the October-through-December quarter of only 6.1 percent.

Global Reality - Surplus Of Labor, Scarcity Of Paid Work

The global economy is facing a structural surplus of labor and a scarcity of paid work. Here is the critical backdrop for the global recession that is unfolding and the stated desire of central banks and states everywhere for "economic growth": most of the so-called "growth" since the 2008 global financial meltdown was funded by sovereign debt and "free money" spun by central banks, not organic growth based on rising earned incomes.

Take away the speculation dependent on "free money" and the global stimulus dependent on massive quantities of fresh debt, and how much "growth" would be left?

While many parts of Thailand suffer from heat and drought, authorities have launched rainmaking operations in the lower northern region to assist farmers.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra presided over a meeting yesterday on water policies to speedily distribute water and launch the rainmaking operations and declared the Mae Wong Dam in Nakhon Sawan was necessary.

Kitti Thupsri, technical specialist at the Phitsanulok rainmaking operation centre, said yesterday that since March the centre - covering seven lowernorthern provinces - had dispatched 137 rainmaking flights using 150 tonnes of chemicals which induced 32 days of rain and helped many farmers.

However, as the drought becomes more severe farmers - especially those growing rice, corn and sugarcane - are calling for more rainmaking operations. Kitti said the centre, that can send out two to three plane flights a day, yesterday dispatched aircraft to spray raininducing chemicals in Tak, Phitsanulok and Khamphaeng Phetch. He said if the drought remained severe, the rainmaking operations would need to continue until October.

I went to the link -- it was about Dr Hagelstein at MIT. I know the fellow and have talked with him.
The vids go back about THREE YEARS... and represent old claims of Pons-fleischmann type of excess heat etc. I do not see anything compelling in that particular approach, no compelling data to back up claims of d-d fusion withOUT neutron production!

Further, Rossi's claim to cold fusion in nickel has been recently discredited by statements by Rossi himself (as I've posted elsewhere).
There is chaff amongst the wheat of freedom-energy research! it takes careful scientific experiments to sort things out.

Another fact that may surprise you is that the vaccine itself is the source of newer cases of this disease. At the same time that world health officials are declaring a victory on polio in India, they are calling a global meeting in Switzerland on the problem of vaccine-caused polio.

The problem is that while the oral vaccine has reined in wild polio, the wild virus is being replaced by vaccine-derived polio virus (VDPV), which causes acute flaccid paralysis. (Health officials don't call it polio because it isn't "wild.") The international meeting, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Japanese Ministry of Health, is scheduled for May 30-June 1, 2012, in Geneva, Switzerland. According to polioeradication.comii:

"The meeting will review the available scientific information on VDPVs; discuss the scientific, policy and programmatic implications of continued VDPV emergence and transmission; and, help inform the 'roadmap for VDPV elimination' for the post-oral polio vaccine (OPV) era."

Environmental surveillance for VDPV is now being conducted in a number of countries, including Australia, Egypt, Haiti, and Indonesia. In essence, this much-heralded vaccine strategy has replaced one infectious disease with another, more virulent strain... What kind of success is that, really?

A strong solar flare reaching M5.7 was detected around Sunspot 1476 and peaked at 04:18 UTC Thursday morning. This event also generated a 10cm Radio Burst (TenFlare). Most of the flare events thus far have not produced any large Coronal Mass Ejections. Sunspot 1476 continues to produce moderate solar flares including a short duration M5.7 event at 04:18 UTC Thursday morning. When watching the latest STEREO Ahead COR2 movie, it does not appear that a substantial CME was produced. Continue to monitor the Solar X-Ray Flux for further activity.

Now one of the largest Sunspots in years, Region 1476 is currently in a great position for Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections. The only problem has been producing a solar flare that would also in turn, generate a large plasma cloud. This could change in the days ahead.
