Casey's biographical page also makes note of his former role as the President of the Space and Science Research Corporation (SSRC), which has since shut down in August 2015. He is also currently the acting CEO of the International Earthquake and Volcano Prediction Center (IEVPC).
Unlike the first two of Casey's publications, Upheaval is primarily about his predictions of future, potentially catastrophic earthquakes occurring in the United States.

Like the Titanic did in April 1912, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has just decided to run into the nearest iceberg at flank speed vis-a-vis its latest sea level rise report.
The January 2017 report titled "Global and Regional Sea level Rise Scenarios for the United States," describes a sea level rise increase from its last report at a maximum of 2.0 meters to a new level of 2.5 meters by the year 2100.
