"Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offered the morning prayer in the United States Senate. Customarily every Senate session begins with prayer, dating back to the Senate’s beginnings in the late 1700s. Usually the Senate chaplain offers the prayer, but Congress often invites guest chaplains from various faiths to pray.
Elder Christofferson prayed for the members of the Senate to use wisdom in all matters they deal with. He asked God to "honor their desire to contribute to the well-being of the people of this nation, and indeed those of all nations who may be influenced for good by their decisions."
He also acknowledged the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, noting that "[we] remember with soberness and humility the sacrifice of so many who have offered their lives to preserve our liberty. We pray that Thou wilt bless their descendants and sustain the vital institutions of our government that this precious liberty may be preserved through the generations to come."
The tradition of prayer in the U.S. Senate goes back to Benjamin Franklin’s 1787 recommendation to the Continental Congress that because “God Governs in the affairs of men” there ought to be “prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate.”
Various other Church leaders have also prayed in the Senate. Apostle Reed Smoot prayed seeking guidance at the declaration of World War I. President George Albert Smith offered the morning prayer on May 20, 1947, as did President Spencer W. Kimball on September 11, 1974. The following day, Elder Gordon B. Hinckley offered the prayer in the U.S. House of Representatives. "

"President-elect Donald Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Committee released the schedule of events for inauguration week on Wednesday, and compared to President Barack Obama’s itinerary when he was first sworn in, Trump appeared to be more interested in working than celebrating. Trump’s schedule included two official inaugural balls and a separate ball to celebrate military members and first responders. In 2009, the Obamas attended no fewer than 10 inaugural balls. That’s quite a bit of partying, and, in retrospect, it set the mood for the rest of Obama’s presidency. The 2017 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s eagerness to get to work in order to make our country safer and stronger,” said Tom Barrack, chairman of the PIC. “President-elect Trump is committed to unifying our country as we once again celebrate the foundation of our American system and the peaceful transfer of power.”

Inaugural events are scheduled to begin on Thursday, Jan. 19, with Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery. That event will be followed by a welcome concert at the Lincoln Memorial. Trump and Pence will be sworn in at the Capitol on Friday, Jan. 20, where they will participate in the parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. On Saturday, Jan. 21, Trump and Pence planned to attend a national prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral, which will conclude the celebration. In contrast, the Obamas attended four regional balls in 2009: the Eastern Ball, the Mid-Atlantic Ball, the Midwestern Ball and the Southern Ball. They then made time to attend balls for their home states and the home states of the Bidens, including Hawaii, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Delaware. It would seem that Trump simply doesn’t have time for that kind of partying, because he recognizes that there’s so much work to do, and he actually knows how to go about doing it. It’s a shocking comparison, but one that isn’t too surprising after we’ve learned how little Obama likes to actually work."

"Associate Professor of Politics and Global Studies George Ciccariello-Maher at Philadelphia's Drexel University made a Christmas wish this holiday season. Though he is a white man, he tweeted, "All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide."
The professor sent out his wish on Christmas Eve and later deleted it, but the internet never forgets.
Cioccariello-Maher refers to himself as "visiting researcher" at El Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales in Mexico who called the massacre of whites in the Haitian Revolution a "good thing."

https://twitter.com/ciccmaher/status/813065225935192064" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a good thing indeed."
Reading his bio, one has to come to understand that this professor is a full on Communist:
George Ciccariello-Maher is a writer, radical political theorist, and currently Associate Professor of Politics and Global Studies at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He has taught radical theory and politics at Drexel, U.C. Berkeley, San Quentin State Prison, and the Venezuelan School of Planning in Caracas. He holds a B.A. in Government and Economics from St. Lawrence University, a B.A. Hons. and M.A. in Social and Political Sciences from St. John's College, University of Cambridge, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley.
His first book, a history of revolutionary movements in Venezuela entitled We Created Chávez: A People's History of the Venezuelan Revolution, was published by Duke University Press in 2013. He recently published a short follow-up on the political dynamics of the post-Chávez era entitled Building the Commune: Radical Democracy in Venezuela (Jacobin-Verso, 2016). His third book, Decolonizing Dialectics, will be published in early 2017, also by Duke University Press.
He is co-editor, with Bruno Bosteels, of the book series Radical Américas, which launches in 2017 with Duke University Press.

But hey, why don't we just let him describe himself.

https://twitter.com/ciccmaher/status/807981981967511553" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Sorry, I'm not "alt-left," just an actual communist.
Following his tweet about white genocide, he joked that he was hacked.

https://twitter.com/ciccmaher/status/813044433079910400" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"@RellieRelz LOL I was hacked I swear"
The professor's Twitter account is now "protected" and cannot be view by anyone unless they have been authorized. Isn't that convenient?

Warner Todd Huston comments, "Calls have been made to Drexel University to see if school administrators condone the sort of remarks Ciccariello-Maher frequently makes online, but requests for comment had not been returned by press time."
"Ciccariello-Maher claims to be an "expert" on Venezuela but no where on his Twitter feed is any acknowledgement of the depths of despair that Venezuela has been reduced to as a result of its failed communist leadership," he added. "As Thomas Lifson notes, this communist professor "teaches" at a university that charges over $34,000 in tuition a year. One would think he would not want anything to do with a school that wasn't free for the masses."
My only comment to Mr. Ciccariello-Maher is, "You first, comrade."
Huston says that comment from the university has not been made. Perhaps a swelling voice from the American public of outrage that this man continues to have a job in indoctrinating America's young people with Communist ideology should be ringing throughout the school until he is removed and never given an opportunity to infect the minds of young people in the education system again."
Here's how you can let your voice be heard.

'Alt-right' groups will 'revolt' if Trump shuns white supremacy, leaders say

Prominent members of the American far right predict that waning influence on the president-elect could trigger discord and vengeance within the movement

Donald Trump will disappoint and disillusion his far-right supporters by eschewing white supremacy, according to some of the movement’s own intellectual leaders.

Activists who recently gave Nazi salutes and shouted “hail Trump” at a gathering in Washington will revolt if the new US president fails to meet their expectations, the leaders told the Guardian.

The prospect of such disillusion and internecine squabbling may console liberals who fear a White House tinged with racism and quasi-fascism. The analysis is all the more reassuring because it comes from far-right influencers and analysts, not wishful progressives.

Instead of enjoying proximity to power, according to this analysis, vocal parts of the loose coalition known as the “alt-right” could remain on the political fringe, wondering what happened to their triumph.

“Their hearts are bigger than their brains,” said Mark Weber, who runs the Institute for Historical Review, an organisation dedicated to exposing “Jewish-Zionist” power. “Saying they want to be the intellectual head of the Trump presidency is delusional.”

Jared Taylor, a white supremacist who runs the self-termed “race-realist” magazine American Renaissance, said the president-elect had already backpedalled on several pledges that had fired up the far-right. “At first he promised to send back every illegal immigrant. Now he is waffling on that.”

David Cole, a self-proclaimed Holocaust revisionist and Taki magazine columnist, envisaged the movement sliding into bickering and in-fighting, stuck in “rabbit warrens” of online trolling rather than policy shaping.

“In January Trump will start governing and will have to make compromises. Even small ones will trigger squabbles between the ‘alt-right’. ‘Trump betrayed us.’ ‘No, you’re betraying us for saying Trump betrayed us.’ And so on. The alt-right’s appearance of influence will diminish more and more as they start to fight amongst themselves.”

In an email interview Peter Brimelow, founder of the webzine Vdare.com, which alleges Mexican plots to remake the US, said Trump’s failure to deliver “important bones” could trigger a backlash. “I think the right of the right is absolutely prepared to revolt. It’s what they do.”

There is, however, a catch: Weber, Taylor and Brimelow – all classified as “extremists” by the Southern Poverty Law Center – said Trump’s victory energised the far-right and that the movement can grow with or without White House help.

The young crowd that roared “Hail Trump” at last month’s gathering in Washington will fight for its beliefs no matter what, Brimelow said. “None of them were looking for jobs in the Trump administration. These are not party loyalists. They know they’re entirely outside the establishment consensus. And they’re used to guerrilla warfare.”

Trump’s relationship with the far-right – an unruly grouping which includes opponents to illegal immigration, free trade, police reform, political correctness, miscegenation and mainstream Holocaust scholarship – will partly define his administration.

The casino mogul turned Republican insurgent electrified this group during the election by calling undocumented Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals. He vowed to deport 11 million undocumented people, ban Muslims from entering the US and build a wall on the southern border. He was slow to disavow an endorsement from David Duke, the former Ku Klux Klan leader.

He put Steve Bannon, who turned Breitbart News into a platform for the far right, in charge of his campaign and rewarded him with a senior White House post.

A few weeks after Trump’s victory the innocuously named National Policy Institute, which espouses an “ethno-state” for Americans of European descent, held its annual conference in the Ronald Reagan Building a few blocks from the White House.

Its leader, Richard Spencer, concluded the event by shouting “Hail Trump! Hail our people!” and “Hail victory!”, an English translation of the Nazi exhortation “Sieg heil”. Some audience members gave the Nazi salute.

Some observers saw their worst fears realised: unbound, exuberant fascism.

But some of the far-right’s intellectuals saw something else: self-sabotage and delusion.

It was an “idiot conclusion” to a conference packed with other speeches and panel discussions, said Brimelow, who addressed the gathering.

Taylor, another speaker, agreed. “It was going very well until (then). Richard Spencer has said that the way he closed the talk was meant as pure irony, and I hope that’s the case, that it was all ironic and over-exuberance. I don’t think that anything that has any whiff of Nazism is a particularly effective way to bring Americans or even Europeans to an effective understanding of race.”

Cole said Spencer, a rising star of the far-right movement, overreached. “He blew a lot of goodwill ... and became an embarrassment to some of his own people.”

Spencer and his supporters will pay for hubris, Cole predicted. “They’ll burn out. After Trump’s victory they had a belief they were behind it, or had a lot of clout. All they can hope for is to get something on the immigration reform/restrictions. Otherwise they’re enjoying the bragging rights, saying they won it, even though they didn’t.”

Asked about that weekend and his impact on the white supremacist movement, Trump told the New York Times: “I don’t want to energize the group, and I disavow the group ... But it’s not a group I want to energize, and if they are energized I want to look into it and find out why.”

Spencer, unabashed, has continued touring university campuses and is considering a congressional run in Montana, where he lives. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

If the critiques are correct he and his supporters will, to co-opt a favoured “alt-right” term, have a rude awakening. “In the eagerness for hope many have latched on to Trump. They’re trying to get a step on the escalator. I’m convinced they’ll be disappointed,” said Weber. Far-right youths are “on fire” but Trump, he said, will not be able to turn the clock back to the 1950s, a perceived golden age for white America.

Taylor said some on the far-right fell, as did liberals, for what he termed media distortions. “Donald Trump was never a racial dissident of the sort that I am. He was never one of us. He’s an American nationalist. The left was wrong to think that he was dancing to the tune of people like myself.”

Taylor said the far right would need patience. “Racial nationalism has not triumphed in America. It will some day. But to think it has done so (already) is delusive.”

"Apparently unbeknownst to liberals, black criminality is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with far more expeditiously than alleged inequities of the criminal justice system.

But the media fails to report black-on-white crime like the vicious murder by Tyfine Hamilton and Brandon Smith, both 15, of upstanding Philidelphia family man 51-year-old James Patrick Stuhlman.

He was discovered by police on the night of March 12, lying in a pool of blood alongside his heartbreakingly frightened dog, who according to Lt. John Walker appeared to be in complete shock.Stuhlman had been out walking the poor pup, when the teens, including a yet unidentified 14-year-old, grew bored from a game of basketball and decided to rob a random stranger. They chose Stuhlman, who proceeded to beg for his life.

“He said, ‘Please don’t shoot me, please don’t shoot me,’ and they still shot him one more time,” Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said at a news conference Thursday.

Had his 13-year-old daughter, who usually accompanied him on walks, also been present, she would likely also be dead right now. Thankfully, Stuhlman had urged her to remain home because it had been getting late outside. Two of the suspects have since been apprehended, but a third one, Tyrine Hamilton, still remains at large and is suspected to be “armed and dangerous.”

Mad World reported that “the teens have all been in trouble with the law in the past.”

So what we have here is yet another case of bored, undisciplined and out-of-control black teens causing mayhem and thus not only ruining their own lives — but also ruining the lives of others, including Stuhlman’s daughter, who must now live her life without a father.

Yet the slimy liberal mainstream media shamelessly shuns this story, because God forbid they stop paying attention to fake cases of so-called racial discriminationand start paying attention to real cases of black-on-white crime."

Multiple media outlets are reporting that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is finalizing a document that the Obama administration hopes will form the basis for a UN Security Council resolution that officially recognizes a Palestinian state before the end of Barack Obama’s term on January 20th. This comes on the heels of the UN Security Council’s adoption of resolution 2334 on December 23rd. That resolution declared that all Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal, it stated that the Security Council recognizes the 1967 ceasefire lines as the border between Israel and “Palestine”, and it officially gave East Jerusalem to the Palestinians. But it stopped short of formally recognizing a Palestinian state. Resolution 2334 speaks of a Palestinian state in the future tense, but this new resolution that John Kerry is reportedly working on would give immediate and permanent UN Security Council recognition to a Palestinian state.

NEW YORK – Documents made public by the Washington watchdog group Judicial Watch and separately by Wikileaks Julian Assange back up Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s assertion on Tuesday that U.S.-led coalition forces have given support to terror groups, including ISIS in Syria.
In an interview with Democracy Now’s Juan González on July 25, Assange said the thousands of documents released by Wikileaks through its “Hillary Clinton Email Archive” contain some 1,700 emails that connect Clinton to al-Qaida and ISIS in both Libya and Syria, demonstrating Clinton supplied weapons to ISIS via Syria.
“So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates,” Assange said in the interview.
“So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gadhafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails.”
The Obama administration’s betrayal is exposed in “See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad,” by former DHS officer Philip Haney and WND Editor Art Moore!
Erdogan said that rather than supporting Turkey, the West was backing ISIS and groups Turkey classifies as terrorist organizations, the Kurdish Peoples’ Protection Units and Democratic Union Party, who work with the U.S. on the ground in Syria.
“They are supporting all the terror groups,” Erdogan said.
“It’s quite clear, perfectly obvious,” he said, offering to provide proof in pictures and video."

Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday took aim at Israel’s government as he defended the administration's decision to allow the U.N. Security Council to pass resolution condemning the country's settlement activity.

http://thehill.com/policy/international ... -on-israel" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday blasted Secretary of State John Kerry’s speech on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as “skewed” against the Jewish state.
“Like the resolution that John Kerry advanced at the U.N., John Kerry gave a skewed speech against Israel,” his office said in a statement.
“For over an hour, Kerry dealt obsessively with the settlements and almost didn’t touch on the root of the conflict — the Palestinian opposition to a Jewish state in any boundaries.”
Netanyahu is reportedly preparing to deliver an in-person rebuttal to Kerry's speech later Wednesday from Israel.
Kerry speech ratcheted up criticismof Netanyahu’s government, including its commitment to settlement building in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
It came after the U.S. angered its biggest Mideast last week ally by allowing the U.N. Security Council to pass a resolution condemning the activity as illegal.
After the U.S. abstained from the resolution, it passed the council by a vote of 14-0. "

"In a new legal development on the controversy over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, an appeals court on Tuesday reversed a lower court ruling and said two U.S. government agencies should have done more to recover the emails.

The ruling from Judge Stephen Williams, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, revives one of a number of legal challenges involving Clinton’s handling of government emails when she was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, used a private email server housed at her New York home to handle State Department emails. She handed over 55,000 emails to U.S. officials probing that system, but did not release about 30,000 she said were personal and not work related.

The email case shadowed Clinton’s loss to Republican Donald Trump in the Nov. 8 presidential election. Trump, who had repeatedly said during the bruising campaign that if elected he would prosecute Clinton, said after the election he had no interest in pursuing investigations into Clinton’s email use."

"President Barack Obama and his family are no strangers to taxpayer-funded vacations, but the most updated bill of his eight years in office was even more than we expected.

The president’s vacation travel costs since 2008 have reportedly totaled nearly $97 million, according to Judicial Watch — and that’s not even a final number yet.

The government watchdog group obtained documents from the Secret Service and the U.S. Air Force detailing the costs of the first family’s travels.

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton claimed that the “Obamas’ notorious abuse of presidential travel perks wasted military resources and stressed the Secret Service.”
“Judicial Watch estimates that the final costs of Obama’s unnecessary vacation and political travel will well exceed $100 million,” he explained in the report.

In fact, the costs were originally estimated to be around $85 million, but, of course, the first family had to spend Christmas in Hawaii, which increased the figure, the International Business Times reported."

"Esteban Santiago, the suspect who was apprehended at the scene was known to the FBI after a bizarre visit that he himself made to their field offices in Alaska. During that visit, Santiago not only implicated himself as mentally ill, but also invoked the imagery of ISIS in his diatribe.
“Estaban Santiago, the 26-year-old airline passenger accused of shooting up a baggage claim area at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood airport Friday, leaving five dead and eight injured, visited the FBI Anchorage field office and told officers he was being forced to watch ISIS videos, law enforcement sources told Fox News.
“The visit took place last November. The sources said Santiago told agents that US intelligence had infiltrated his mind and were forcing him to watch ISIS propaganda videos.
“In addition, the sources told Fox that Santiago appeared agitated and incoherent during that interview, clearly indicating he was suffering from some kind of mental condition.
“After the contact with Santiago, the FBI called local authorities who took custody of him and brought him to a local hospital for a welfare check.”
Even with this clear and present danger being presented to the FBI, nothing was done and Santiago was able to travel with a declared firearm via airplane."

Democratic congressman William Lacy Clay rehung the painting on Tuesday after a Republican lawmaker had removed it because he found it offensive. The painting depicts a pig in a police uniform aiming a gun at a protester among several images.

California Rep. Duncan Hunter removed the painting last Friday and says GOP leaders will seek its permanent removal by the House architect."

Obama Quietly Signs The "Countering Disinformation And Propaganda Act" Into Law | Zero Hedge
Late on Friday, with the US population embracing the upcoming holidays and oblivious of most news emerging from the administration, Obama quietly signed into law the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which authorizes $611 billion for the military in 2017.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
here is Ben Swann's take
---------------------------------------------------------------------

There's no doubt in anyone's mind, Republican or Democrat, that there's been a proliferation of fake news as of late. But this new era of news and information isn't a story Americans know in full. Mike Papantonio, host of 'America's Lawyer,' tells 'News With Ed,' “Most Americans don't know that two nights before Christmas, Obama ... created truly the closest thing to a ministry of propaganda. Now, he felt like he could do it because of all those fake news stories.”

Greenwald Democrats Shouldn’t Be Cheering On ‘Open Warfare’ from Intel Community on Trump

Post by Joel »

In a piece for The Intercept earlier this week, Greenwald warned that there are Democrats and members of the media who seem to be craving “the rule of Deep State overlords”:
Democrats, still reeling from their unexpected and traumatic election loss as well as a systemic collapse of their party, seemingly divorced further and further from reason with each passing day, are willing — eager — to embrace any claim, cheer any tactic, align with any villain, regardless of how unsupported, tawdry and damaging those behaviors might be.

"The Secretary of State of United States has begun his fourth official visit to Vietnam and his last as the country's diplomatic chief before he leaves office on January 20.
John Kerry is in the Vietnamese capital and will meet the country's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) for talks on a series of bilateral and regional affairs, said the US Department of State.
In the afternoon, the secretary of state will visit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's most dynamic urban city, to meet more CPV leaders and speak on US-Vietnam relations.
The visit will conclude on Saturday in Ca Mau, Vietnam's southernmost province, in the Mekong river delta, where Kerry served as a marine during the Vietnam war.
Kerry will also hold talks with experts on environmental problems affecting the region - one of the planet's most-affected areas due to climate change - and measures to help Vietnam develop clean energies and sustainable infrastructures.
Kerry will leave Vietnam for Paris on January 15 to attend the Middle East peace conference, before meeting his British counterpart Boris Johnson in London on January 16.
He will end his tour at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland on January 17 and January 18, and will hand over charge to Rex Tillerson on January 20, when Donald Trump is sworn in as the new US president."

"In keeping with tradition, the First Presidency will send two Apostles to attend the presidential inauguration on January 20. Elder D. Todd Christofferson and Elder Gary E. Stevenson will represent The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, continuing "a tradition, going back more than a century, of Mormon leadership supporting and celebrating the process that makes possible the peaceful transfer of power," according to Mormon Newsroom.

Since the early 1900s, the First Presidency or a member of the Quorum of the Twelve have attended the inaugurations of presidents, beginning with Theodore Roosevelt in 1905.

In addition to the inauguration, Elder D. Todd Christofferson will attend the National Prayer Service at the Washington National Cathedral on January 21.

“A presidential inauguration is a civic ceremony that transcends the person being inaugurated,” Elder Christofferson told Mormon Newsroom. “It is an act of state, not of politics. Its primary purpose is for the president-elect to take the constitutionally required oath of office, and for the people by witnessing it to bind him to that oath. It is a time to reaffirm collectively the enduring principles that have sustained this country for over 200 years, including the peaceful transfer of power, which remains a remarkable event even in this modern world.”

"Possibly emboldened by the unfathomable liberal angst being allowed to fester around the nation, Obama has spent his last few weeks in office as an incredibly vocal opponent to the incoming President-Elect. This includes dire warnings and pseudo-scolding statements that have, in turn, worked to possibly delegitimize the election of Donald Trump.

“[Obama] has said he plans to stay out of the day-to-day political scrum, find some ‘quiet’ and write a book when his second term ends Friday. For the moment, though, he is staying in the media spotlight with speeches, interviews and a news conference planned for Wednesday. And Obama has used the flurry of appearances to stake out a legacy imperiled by the surprising victory of President-elect Donald Trump.
” He has also offered Trump some advice when it comes to tweeting.
“’What’s going on?’ Steve Kroft of ’60 Minutes,’ asked Obama in the wake of Trump tweets that attacked actress Meryl Streep as ‘over-rated‘ and suggested that the United States needs to expand its nuclear arsenal.
“Obama first warned not to ‘underestimate [Trump], because he is going to be the 45th president of the United States.’ Then the outgoing commander in chief made the case for hewing to some presidential ‘norms’ and ‘traditions.’”
The entire leftist attitude toward Trump has been dangerously bratty, pedantic, and childish in an effort to create an aura of amateurishness surrounding Washington outsider Trump."

"Over the past two years, a common tactic of protesters has been to block major highways in an attempt to get massive media coverage and spread their message throughout America.

Instead of rallying Americans to their cause, these forms of protest have actually turned a great many Americans against the protesters because what they are doing is incredibly unsafe.

One Minnesota lawmaker, Republican state Rep. Kathy Lohmer, has introduced legislation that would increase the penalty for any protesters who tried to block traffic in future protests, KARE reported.Currently, blocking a highway in Minnesota is only a “simple misdemeanor,” which is punished by 90 days in jail, maximum, and a $1,000 fine. Under Lohmer’s new bill, the charge would be upgraded to a “gross misdemeanor.”

This upgrade would increase the jail time to a maximum of one year, and the fine to $3,000. This theoretically should act as a deterrent to anyone looking to cause trouble in the future."

"WASHINGTON – The Obama administration, on the eve of its transfer of power, is about to impose new standards to protect the nation’s life-sustaining electric grid from solar storms.
However, the new standards by a Democrat-dominated regulatory board, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will address only solar activities. Pointedly, it will not protect the vulnerable national grid from a man-made, high altitude, nuclear detonation that could create an electromagnetic pulse.
Such an EMP could have a catastrophic impact on the nation’s technology-based, life-sustaining critical infrastructures.
In an email to WND, William R. Graham, who was director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and science adviser to President Ronald Reagan, warned that the FERC has scheduled a ruling on Jan. 19 – the day before Donald Trump is sworn in as the 45th president of the United States – that is supposed to protect the United States from an EMP.
However, the FERC’s planned ruling “is likely to have far-ranging, seriously counterproductive national security implications,” according to Graham, who was chairman of the 2008 congressionally mandated EMP Commission.
The commission examined the impact of an EMP on the nation’s critical infrastructures that depend on the national grid system.
Graham said the FERC’s impending action is inadequate and will have a “significant near-term impact on our national security, especially in view of recent moves by North Korea to establish an EMP-attack capability with (intercontinental ballistic missiles), nuclear missile-carrying submarines and satellites.”
“A Nation Forsaken” warns of the growing threat from an EMP, either from a natural solar event or an attack from America’s enemies. Threatened are not only the nation’s power lines, but its banking, fuel supply and even food distribution systems.
Because of the continued threat of an EMP not only from a natural solar storm but also from a man-made high-altitude nuclear detonation, Congress last year renewed the commission in section 1089 of the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act.
As chairman of the EMP Commission, Graham warned back in 2008 that the United States is especially vulnerable since its critical interdependent infrastructures rely, more than most other nations, on electronic components.
While the electrical grid and electronic components have given the U.S. major economic, industrial and societal advantages, Graham previously has testified to Congress that these critical interdependencies also create potential vulnerabilities and multiple, simultaneous disruptions and failures.
An EMP event, whether natural or man-made, would cause “unprecedented cascading failures of major infrastructures,” Graham said.
The critical, life-sustaining infrastructures that depend on the vulnerable national grid include telecommunications, banking and finance, automated control systems, petroleum and natural gas, transportation, food and water delivery, emergency services and space systems.
Graham pointed out the FERC is dominated by three Obama administration appointees, although the Republican appointee slots remain empty. Despite the Trump administration coming into office in a few days, the FERC won’t realize a majority of Republicans until June 30, 2017, when the term of a Democratic appointee is scheduled to end.
“It may not be an accident that this action is being addressed on the last full day of the Obama administration rather than at a time when the Trump administration can influence the ruling,” Graham told WND.
The FERC is to finalize standards for only solar storms, or the natural-occurring slow EMP called an E3, ignoring the nuclear-weapon-generated EMP, Graham warned.
He said that the E3 component of an EMP from a high-altitude nuclear explosion can have “higher amplitudes than the (geomagnetic disturbance protection) E3, and there is also a substantially higher, intense electromagnetic fast pulse (E1) produced only by high-altitude nuclear weapons.”
“Significantly,” Graham said, “similar commercially available equipment can be used to protect against nuclear EMP and naturally occurring GMD EMP, but comprehensive nuclear EMP protection also requires protection against E1.
“The cost to comprehensively protect the entire U.S. grid from both E1 and nuclear and naturally occurring E3 would be modest if integrated with geomagnetic disturbance protection, and much of that could be recovered by utilities from their ratepayers at a very low per capita cost,” Graham said.
Graham said he has alerted the incoming Trump transition department appointees and transition-team heads to the impending FERC action.
“We expect that several duly filed requests for administrative rehearing are planned to be denied on 19 January,” Graham said. “Once FERC makes its final ruling on the regulatory standard for only GMP EMP protection, it will be both difficult and more expensive to replace with the necessary comprehensive standard that integrates the nuclear EMP protection.”
He said Trump, as president, will have the authority to appoint three new FERC commissioners between January and July 2017, giving the regulatory board a Republican majority by mid-summer.
“A rebalanced FERC could mandate integrated protection against both GMD and nuclear EMP, with substantial cost saving and major infrastructure survivability improvement that would significantly strengthen national security,” Graham said.
Graham said the FERC chairman, Norman Bay, could postpone a final decision on GMD protection to allow the Trump administration to pursue an integrated EMP-GMD protection approach.
Until the Trump administration can participate in the ruling, Graham strongly urged citizens to contact FERC Chairman Bay [telephone: (202) 502-8000], chief of staff Larry Gasteiger and the two other sitting FERC commissioners before their vote on the ruling on Jan. 19 to request that the FERC defer rehearing of “FERC Standard TPL-007-1, per FERC Order 830.”

F. Michael Maloof, is a former security policy analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Maloof is author of “A Nation Forsaken—EMP: The Escalating Threat of an American Catastrophe,” the ebook, “ISIS Rising: Prelude to a neo-Ottoman Caliphate.”

"The Homosexual Lobby and the Leftist media are mounting an assault against Congress to abandon Traditional Values and pass their radical Agenda.
They are hounding the Republican majorities in Congress to push their perverse "lifestyle" on every man, woman, and child in America.
The Homosexual Lobby has already rammed through Thought Control and the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
The radical Homosexual Lobby have many Congressmen, both Democrat AND Republican, quivering with fear -- because they still wield tremendous influence in Congress.
Insiders in Congress say resistance to the Homosexual Agenda could collapse completely without the support of pro-Family Americans.
Passage of the Homosexual Agenda will ignite a firestorm that will rip through families, communities and businesses by enforcing:

*** Special job rights for homosexuals. Businesses may have to adopt hiring quotas to protect themselves from lawsuits. Every homosexual fired or not hired becomes a potential federal civil rights lawsuit.
Radical homosexuals will terrorize daycare centers, hospitals, churches and private schools. Traditional moral values will be shattered by federal law.

*** An explosion of lawsuits as Christian business owners and even clergy are forced to support homosexual "marriage" ceremonies.

*** The Homosexual Classrooms Act, which pushes their agenda into our schools. Your children or grandchildren will be taught homosexuality is moral, natural and good.Girls will be forced to share bathrooms and locker rooms with cross-dressing boys pretending to be so-called “transgendered.”
High school children will learn perverted sex acts as part of "safe sex" education.
With condoms already handed out in many schools, radical homosexuals will have little trouble adopting today's "if it feels good, do it" sex-ed curriculum for their agenda...radical homosexual groups like the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and ACT UP receive millions from the government. Hundreds of millions of tax dollars flow to homosexual activists through funding for so-called AIDS awareness programs and research grants -- recently cash even went to build a strip club!"
